Wrong OTA update and can't receive the newer one - Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Questions & Answers

I have a mi a2 lite with android 10 (I'm one of the lucky ones that the first android 10 update didn't break the phone) and near the end of March I received a wrong update (that was an android 10 second update for who was with android 9) and I got an error. Now I know there's a new update for android 10 users, but I can't get it because of the second update (the wrong one). How can I resolve it? Should I clear the cache of some apps? I already reboot, cleared google play services' cache but still get that wrong update.

Just read the threads. If you got the Android 10 and you're stuck with the update screen for P, you need to manually update from recovery to .04 version and then update to .05 version from the update menu, or install .05 manually from the recovery. Both .04 and .05 are linked in the specific threads and help to install them is in a separate thread with full support.
Search before you post!!!

Software update

I just clicked on software update/check for update in the 'About Phone' section of my settings. I've never clicked it before. It said new firmware required. So I let it download the new software. Then it said charge battery before updating, and then it let me choose when to resume the update. I chose 3 hours. So I'm on stock Android 2.3.3. Gingerbread XWKE7 . What will it update to? I'm a bit worried now, is it going to wipe stuff? Everything's working good so I don't 'need' to update, but it would be nice to. Can I cancel the update? Only thing I can see is 'resume update'.
If you are from london uk. I think the OTA(over the air) version is gingerbread 2.3.4. I do not think it is a wipe device firmware but just to be safe, back it up via kies if your phone is not rooted otherwise use titanium backup if your phone is rooted.
Trust me I would go with the update. Some improvements. I wish we could update
For sure it is NO WIPE version.
Thanks guys, it's a relief it didn't wipe anything.
This is what I got. I thought it might also update Android but it hasn't. What benefits can I expect from the updated Gingerbread XWKF3?

Oh look, it's the voluntary forum policeman.
I made a duplicate thread because I wasn't sure which forum to post it in and I panicked a bit last night so needed a fast answer. OK?

Hi, unable to find bottom four. Only found 1/4. Screenshot:

Nothing below "System Update", that is the last package on the list. Nothing else to scroll to.
This is a Verizon Note 7. Anything else I need to disable?
Type in the name of the file where it says update (search bar).

Nothing.
Apparently 3/4 of those packages just don't exist on my Verizon phone...
I hope that means I'm safe.
Strange. Assume you've scrolled through to find it (alphabetical).

Yep, I've done that.
I'd be tempted to check the two System updates (which I don't have) in your post #5

Support Update

hi everyone I would have a problem and would need your support
I received this message of installation of an update on my xiaomi mi a2 lite but avoiding android 10 already it is not possible to install it, if there was a download where I find the package to delete it, and eliminated the problem of continuous notification, impossible to install?

Hi MaNoNeS,
Stay Home And Stay Safe !
What I Understand In Your Query. The OTA Notification Is Annoying And You Want To Get Rid. If Your Device Have Android 10 ? Please Long Press The Update Notification And Go To Setting (Which Will Appear At Right Side On Notification Bar) Then Un Select The Last Option)
Hope This Will Work.
Thanks you,

(A50) How to downgrade from Android 11 UI3.0 to Android 9

I've been struggling for a while to go back from Android 11 (UI3.0) to Android 9 using Odin on my Samsung SM-A505FN, but it always hangs when flashing the older bootloader 9 or 10. It doesn't matter if I unlock the bootloader first. Is it possible to go back at all? it doesn't seem to be possible anymore, not even to version 10 !?
The only version that can be flashed without problems is version 11 again with Bootloader A505FNXXU7CUC2
I guess I cannot combine this bootloader with older versions AP CP CSC USERDATA
Please advice.
Regards Bocky Wocky
You need to enable
Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time when flashing stock rom
This should work
( Guide : ( click me ) )
I tried this, but failed already on the first step by flashing the bootloader...
Can you give me a photo of your phone after the error when trying to flash?
Or can you give me the error that is standing on the phone?
See pictures attached.

Hm.. not the only one having troubles to downgrade from 11 with UI 3.1
See this topic
When you upgraded to android 10 or higher then you can no longer downgrade to pie.
You should be able to go to android 10.

Right, that's a shame from Samsung.
I am still running UI3.1 Android 11, but using the Fresh rom, This works fine and I now have the control over updates.

Question I have several problems when I get to Miui 14

The first thing I want to say is that I'm using Google Translate
I just updated the EU ROM MIUI 14 and I have 2 errors below.
+when I first uploaded the rom, the status bar was normal but then the status bar, the notification panel, it was completely transparent,
+When I go to Google services and some parts of the settings, it changes the background color to light brown.
I need to know if it's a ROM bug or if I've
installed something wrong, and I'll fix it.
looking forward to help from everyone..
I know the EU ROM can't update via OTAs. But on MIUI 14, I open the update section, there is a message "Choose to update via OTA or via TWRP" I also see the section Select update package in the settings section
Thank you.

When updating from android to the next android you better make factory reset to avoid confliction between the two systems.

First I thank you for your reply.
i tried factory reset but it didn't fix it.
my case is like reading mode, but i don't turn it on at all both before the upgrade and after the upgrade.
When I upgrade, I can restore previously backed up data.
Which EU version you installed is it Stable or Beta.
When this happens it is advised to install original version of miui and then flash EU one to resolve issues.
upgrading from 13.0.6 upwards shouldn't be an issue i expect you must have had something on the system which is broken before hand.

i am not good at computer, before upgrade was running miui 12.5.8 .
now i need to go back to 12.5.8 or to miui china.
if back to 12.5.8, I asked the store where I bought it and flashed the rom, it said "if back to the old version of 12.5.8, the phone may leak.
if i go to miui china, can i update myself via ota to go back to miui.eu.
