Question Error Message "Access denied" - Samsung Galaxy S22

Hi guys, I have a problem since I opened the bootloader, installed the Loki kernel and rooted the device.
Namely, in various situations I get the following message.
Access denied. Unauthorized changes have been made to your phone. To get help, contact Customer Service.
Click to collapse
I can click away the message, but it is still annoying.
Sometimes it comes when I start an app, sometimes when I unlock the screen, sometimes when I boot the phone, it's really not reproducible.
What can I do about it? I googled the message and also found a thread on Reddit, however the solution there didn't work.
Does anyone have a solution on how I can fix this?

The kernel must be flashed after unlocking the bootloader not before

The Kernel was flashed after.
Unlocking > Kernel > Reboot > error Message appears since then.

Can u access apps

Yeah, only some Samsung apps arent accessible.
Samsung Health for example doesnt work. Just spits 0x241300040F61607241F.

Here. I can't say when it appears, it's completely random.

Try to format and reflash the firmware

How to fix "Access denied" screen randomly appearing on rooted devices
A couple of days ago my S21 Ultra running G998BXXS5CVIF automatically opened an "Access denied" screen. It was impossible to show which app cause it as it disappeared once you got to the app switcher menu. Access denied Unauthorized changes...
forum.xda-developers.com
This fix worked for me (Still shows up for some apps such as Samsung health but stopped the message showing up randomly)

I tried this aswell, now i am on a custom rom and dont get disturbed from this message.

Lost access to copy protected apps after root + A2SD

Hi guys I rooted my desire using the live cd method, powered up my phone before installing a2sd and I could see all of my download history on the market with access to all apps. After this I booted into recovery using step2 on the live cd and installed A2SD. When I turned the phone on again all of the download history was gone and I can't see apps like Google Earth, National Rail etc.
I thought I did something wrong so I wiped the device and installed the rooted rom update again with a2sd at the same time. The problem still exists and nothing has changed.
Could you please help me because this is very annoying and I cant set up my phone the I want until this is resolved.
Very strange... Use Market enabler > http://market-enabler.googlecode.com/files/MarketEnabler_latest.html
install, apply new settings and reboot, problem solved
Thanks for the suggestion but the market enabler doesn't solve it, I tried it.
Another strange thing that I found is I have an .apk of CoPilot which I was using before rooting and when I tried installing it now it gives me an error "Application not installed".
I still haven't solved this problem and its really bugging me.
I un-rooted my phone and used a different google account with no luck. I still don't see some applications in the market.
Just to let you know I am in the UK using a generic sim free desire on 3 network. Could you please, please, please help me out. I am running out of options and I thought unrooting would fix it.
Weird issue you are describing. As far as I know it depends on the fingerprint of the build.prop in the ROM (and if Google added it to the white list(?)) or not.
Many people are using the rooted ROM (all the same build.prop) and they can access protected apps just fine. So probably the problem lies elsewhere.
I have a similar problem, before I rooted my device I could see all apps I bought in my g1 days. After I rooted first of all none showed up, after a day or so only a few showed up... rebooted a few more times (only ever flashed once using Windows with apps2sd) now I have a few I had before show up not all just a few and thats how its been since. weird. I had half results :/

Same problem here with one single application.
Had SlideIT paid version installed on stock firmware.
Once i rooted it gave me the message "application not installed" once i tried to install it.
Funny enough the SlideIT lite version is still able to install fine.
Definitely want it to work again, so i hope someone knows how to fix it
I tried a couple of different ROMs today and had this same problem, clicking My Downloads would just show a blank screen, and there was no "Top Paid Apps" tab. I tried unrooting, rerooting, nothing fixed it, until I found this;
http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Android+Market/thread?tid=1ea082d443f3d16c&hl=en
Pushing that xml file (note the spelling mistake before you do it) fixed it all back up, no idea what caused it to get all messed up and why it wasn't fixed by wiping and reflashing.

I tried to push the file via adb shell in windows and got permission denied. Am I doing it right or do I need to root the phone again to be able to push that file because I have reverted back to the generic stock rom?
Mine was rooted when I pushed it, try re-rooting it and pushing it again I guess.
I finally got around to re-rooting it and tried your solution with pushing that file but no change to my market
Just to be clear I can see the Top Paid apps tab, but I cant access copy protected apps like Google Earth.

[Q] "could not obtain root" message on startup

Have a stock S3, Sprint-branded, running 4.4.2. As of yesterday, I can't get mobile data (apps say no internet connection). It works fine on WiFi.
I noticed on startup, towards the end of the process, a "could not obtain root" message briefly flashes.
Only recent change was I tried an app called "Automate". I have since uninstalled it, but the problem still exists.
Any suggestions? Help would be appreciated.

Sounds like it was rooted at some point, and an app requiring root access is still installed. Install SuperSU from playstore and see which app it is

[Q] G PAD V496 Stuck

I rooted this tablet using the Kingroot method. Removed all the tmobile bloatware from it to try to speed it up.
The tablet started to get errors and when i click on settings a message shows up that settings has stopped.
I did a hard factory reset to the tablet and now it is not usable when it turns on it keeps getting the popup that settings has stopped and cannot bypass this.
Does anyone know how i can flash a full stock image on this tablet?, or is they a way i can bypass the settings has stopped error, i guess for the first run settings need to run before you can get to Home
if i can bypass the setup i should be able to use the tablet.
Thank you.

Seems you're SOL until LG comes up with an update file.
I only froze bloat with TiBu. Wont remove anything until we get a recovery or ROM.
Put your IMEI on the end of this URL. http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=
PM me if it says you have a file available
If/when that happens I'd be happy to assist you with reflashing the device with the stock rom

how to stop System out of date update pop-up

Hey guys, I've disabled update notifications through play store and I've disabled auto update system under developer settings as well but this keeps popping up every now and then and I can't figure out to block it. I'm rooted on August 2019 pie build. I've searched the services for play services and play store and can't find anything related to what this update might be from.
I've searched around Google and XDA and haven't found anything regarding this specific pop-up. Anyone have any info?
Following..
I have same issue, but mine is more out-of-date than yours! [emoji16]
Hopefully we'll get some answer here, I have not been able to prioritize this issue in normal life, and this holiday season is not giving me any more time for sure...

The annoying part is it doesn't pop up as a notification or an app that would show up in overview mode otherwise I could just long press on it and figure out what process it's coming from. I gotta figure it's from one of the play services but there's so many different ones and nothing I've seen really stands out like updater or anything like that.
Just letting you know, if it pops up & you accidentally hit the update button, turn off wifi & data, then clear the cache/storage on Google Play Services to stop the update.

I think the process is android system, notification section, it should be listed as download or update or very similar, just turn it off.

This is funny. People are here denying updates, and I'm here wondering where my Dec update is. I still haven't gotten it along with a ton of others.

I'm on a 3a xl and I got my update Dec 2nd. You can always manually Flash the update it's all ready to download
Also interested in blocking this popup.
Bump
Just found this command to try in another system update blocking thread. Trying it out now. Not sure how often the pop-up appears but I usually see it about twice a week
pm disable com.google.android.gms/.update.phone.PopupDialog
I haven't seen any negative side effects to using this yet but if someone thinks so please let me know.
@CruelSun @ShatteredHalo
Just to let you guys know the command I previously posted has worked. It's been over 2 weeks now and it has not popped back up at all and nothing is broken that I've noticed so far.

There is nothing with update or updater listed that I can delete when I use titanium. I think Google combined it with play services.
Any idea where it would be located for manual deletion? I've searched through both system and priv apps folders and found nothing that would indicate it is the system updater?

Does the "pm disable com.google.android.gms/.update.phone.PopupDialog" need to be run on a rooted device?
I tried on my unrooted pixel 5, but get the following error. Unfortunately I can't root because of my banking apps.
Code:
adb shell pm disable com.google.android.gms/.update.phone.PopupDialog
Exception occurred while executing 'disable':
java.lang.SecurityException: Shell cannot change component state for com.google.android.gms/com.google.android.gms.update.phone.PopupDialog to 2
at com.android.server.pm.PackageManagerService.setEnabledSetting(PackageManagerService.java:21042)
***
I found the answer myself. YES it needs root
I have tried to run this 'pm disable' command and run into the Java error. I am rooted, though with ADB, trying to gain root or anything, everything seems to get a 'permission denied' error.

Have you unlocked your bootloader. If so then you will not be able to install or get an ota update. Instead you can flash your phone using miflash
Just go to settings and search 'google play system update ' you will tap on said option and you will see the command to update and install,
That's how I fixed mine
