I rooted this tablet using the Kingroot method. Removed all the tmobile bloatware from it to try to speed it up.
The tablet started to get errors and when i click on settings a message shows up that settings has stopped.
I did a hard factory reset to the tablet and now it is not usable when it turns on it keeps getting the popup that settings has stopped and cannot bypass this.
Does anyone know how i can flash a full stock image on this tablet?, or is they a way i can bypass the settings has stopped error, i guess for the first run settings need to run before you can get to Home
if i can bypass the setup i should be able to use the tablet.
Thank you.

Seems you're SOL until LG comes up with an update file.
I only froze bloat with TiBu. Wont remove anything until we get a recovery or ROM.
Put your IMEI on the end of this URL. http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=
PM me if it says you have a file available
If/when that happens I'd be happy to assist you with reflashing the device with the stock rom

Hi,
I new to rooting and android and have some questions.
I think I corrupted the google framework on my phone.
I rooted my TMobile SGN2 using the*toolkit and Odin and SU on my phone. I used Option#2-Flash insecure boot image, root and install busybox" . I also installed Titanium Backup Pro and backed up all of my apps but I didnt do a full image backup using CWM or anything*similar*
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6BweCW5ck8.
I also used this method to add the wifi hotspot:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1974109
The phone worked fine for about 1 week but then*I then decided to call Tmobile support because I was having data speed issues on vacation and they told me to reset the APN and Search for Mobile Operators in the Mobile Network settings. *I forgot about the APN changes I had made and it restored the original APN to the factory settings. *
Now I have the following issues with my phone.
1) I constantly get this error and it freezes my phone for 15 seconds. "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped"
2) If I goto the gmail app it says, "gmail has stopped" and it doesnt load
3) Now I cannot*load google play store any more so cannot install apps or do updates.
4) My*AllShare Cast Wireless physical Hub tries to connect to phone but doesnt connect anymore.
I have tried emptying the google files cache and stopped and restarted all of the google services, tried rebooting phone, taking out sim card and even went back the the original APN but the problem is still there.
What should I do?
1) Call Tmobile and see if they will send me a new phone? *I do have insurance but the phone is now rooted.
2) Just do a factory restore using this method?*http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaZiO8vfrME
If I do a factory restore and the phone still has issues, will they be able to tell I rooted if I decide to use my insurance and get a new phone?
3) Try to use SU or some other way to just fix the issues I have?
PS, when I try to use my wifi hotspot now, the Tmobile Tethering wants me to active and setup their service, so Im no longer able to use my hack.
Please help me.
Thanks!

I figured it out! It turned out to be some kind of an error while updating the apps from play store. In the application manager there was a disabled update process which after turning it back on worked liked a charm (scroll all the way down to the bottom in the APP MANAGER-->ALL and it will show any disabled apps. Renable the app. I also decided to clear cache of all of the google services, gmail, app store, internet, etc. and then I deleted my google account. I rebooted the phone and added the google account back and viola... Its all back to normal.
But now that my wifi hotspot is not working, should I try this hack instead?
This application requires a "rooted"-device and (probably) a custom-kernel which supports netfilter (iptables). I only rooted my device but no custom kernel? Will it still work for me?

So I rooted my Samsung Galaxy tab 3 8.0 (TM310) and started deleting bloatware. I restarted the device after deleting a couple of bloatware and think I deleted a necessary Google app. I kept getting a popup saying "android device manager has stopped working" so I think I deleted that. Being stupid I never actually created a backup (learnt my lesson) and thought if I factory reset the device, I'll have the original apps back; this did not work and created a problem. Now when I try to setup the the tablet, the google part comes up after setting up WiFi and it asks you for your first and last name to personalise the tablet. Considering I deleted an app, it just says android device manager has stopped working and just restarts the part where I have to enter my name. Essentially I can't setup or use this tablet without the app so is there a way to actually get it back? I'm willing to try anything as there is no loss. Tablet is useless otherwise. Thanks for your time!
Install a custom ROM?

This is an LG E980 Rooted with SuperUser installed. I have Freegee which says my LG 98020i version is not supported, so I don't know how to proceed with that. I also have Flashfire and Flashify. Not quite sure about these either.
I watched all the YouTube videos, No Help, I reset to factory settings twice, No Help. As soon as I reboot from reset "unfortunately settings has stopped" I can download various apps that can change various settings for me, (Thank God Google has a back door to get into my home wifi or I would be really up a river) but i cant set anything in the settings menu manually. So I got an app to enable ADB and intalled LG Mobile USB driver on my windows box, along with LG Flashtool, LG Mobile Support tool, and LGUP and my phone Still won't connect except to charge. I went into reboot into ADB, when I connect the USB and launch LGUP it says "no device detected" and "install LG usb drivers" for my device (which I already did). I'm running KK 4.4.2 and at this point I just want to reflash my current ROM and hopefully regain access to my device, although installing a new lollipop or marshmallow version without all the useless AT&T crap is appealing. I'm really frustrated with this whole process. Every time I turn around it's something else that won't work. I REALLY don't want to F this up but I think I'm a little over my head. Can someone give me an Idea of how to make this work? I can't even get an APK that isn't from the play store. What a Freakin" Pain. The more I read, the more confusing it gets, with all the .tots or .kdzs, MMs and EFSs, TWRPs, CWMs, and AOSPs, I don't know WTF to do. Can anyone PLEASE point me in the right direction?? Much love and appreciation....
I upgraded my Phone to Android 6.0 MM last week and afterwards i couldnt uninstall ANY apps without my phone restarting and the app is still there and I cant set a lock on it then when i try to access the security tab it says "unfortunately, the process com.android.settings has stopped". ive tried resetting my phone to factory but it doesnt fix the problems

Same issue here, just bought a new LG g4, came in sealed box with android 6.0. I can't set a lock screen, go into security's or delete apps with out crashing. The phone is empty, no user data yet. I can not even finish setting up phone. I've tried soft and hard resets, also safe mode none of which make any difference. Frustrating
Did you setup encryption on your device
Just bought a demo tablet from work and have had problems trying to get the retail demo app removed 'Liszt'
I have managed to disable the app, however this only works temporarily, as soon as you restart the tablet you have to go through the whole process of disabling again.
I have tried factory reset.
I have tried Kingo Root through a computer, it said it had succeeded however did not install SuperSu so obviously did not root properly. I have tried installing SuperSu through google play store however whenever you go into it it just comes up with 'SU Binary Occupied' so something obviously isn't correct.
I have installed 'System App Remover (ROOT)' an when opening the app it seems to think that it has rooting capabilities however when trying to uninstall Liszt it just says that it has failed.
I am pulling my hair out here trying to get this sorted and every tutorial or online info on this tablet is outdated and has links that just go absolutely nowhere, so please do not just send me to another thread where all the information and files are just non existent as you just cant follow it.
Anyone out there with previous experience in either rooting this tablet or removing 'Liszt' let me know what options I have.
Thanks in advance!
