Question Mobile Data Not Working - Xiaomi Poco F3 / Xiaomi Mi 11X / Redmi K40

My problem is the following: My mobile data doesn't work, only in messaging apps like Messenger and Telegram, even there it only loads messages, not pictures or videos.
I have an alioth device running EvolutionX 7.3, with the latest firmware version (V13.0.6.0.SKHMIXM).
Just a few minutes ago I tried flashing stock MIUI and it was working there, however on EvoX (or any other ROMs, I tried multiple) it doesn't seem to work.
It is NOT a provider problem, since yesterday I tested it on my old iPhone 6 and it was working, so on MIUI a couple minutes ago.
I tried resetting APNs and network settings, but nothing seems to work.
Can somebody help?
Plus information (Romanian provider, VodafoneRO) if it helps.

Hi,
I use the Amazing Evo-X 7.3 and have no issues with Mobile data,
I am on the "3" network here in the UK,
you could try to update your firmware V13.0.9.0.SKHEUXM as there are reports of minor issues with A13 roms,
If this dosen`t help you could try a clean rebuild,
i have instructions on how i re-built my Poco F3 running EEA firmware.

Super cool, thanks!
Hope to try it today.
Woo hoo! Thank you :victory:
Have been running it today.
Camera works, bluetooth audio works with hickups when I do stuff during playing music but no problem when just listening.
Wifi reconnected just fine after being out, but that was only once.
Hey! Thank you very much, will test it soon
Great Work!!!
Will try it out this week, but my 1gig Mate doesn't handle these 4.4.x ROMs very well unless I run them barebone (i.e. if I don't load my apps). Can anyone recommend a good RAM manager that I could try to see if it helps?
WiFi issues
Been running this ROM since midnight last night. Not bad at all. Think it has given me the best overall response of all the 4.4.x ROMs I've tried. Runs very smoothly. Only issues I've had are that sometimes when I press the power button to wake the phone up it doesn't wake up and I'm having occurrences of the WiFi turning itself off and when I try to turn it back on it doesn't turn on. Tried using WiFi fixer and that didn't work either. In order to get the WiFi to turn back on I have to reboot.
Going to do a full wipe and reinstall and see what happens. Haven't seen anyone else say anything about this so I'm going to check if it was just a bad install.
I would really love a 4.4.x ROM I can use as a daily driver. This ROM comes awful close.:good::good:
On a side note:
Is apollo music player missing by choice?
Or did I do something wrong?
I went away from this carbon for a few days, comming back to play music over bluetooth. Was not dissapointed
But after charging full, battery was down to 38% in 17 hours, google play services being responcible for 58% of power consumption.... Followed by screen with 9%...
There is more info on this topic but having this improved is at the top of my wish list!
Edit: Have tried a diy fix:
Goto settings>privacy>privacy guard, then "menu" at top right hand side of the screen, choose advanced...
Then look for "google play services" om several pages and tap on it on each page.
Disable "stay awake" or simmilar.
You may dissable stuf you actually need, be carefull!

Looks like Apollo is not included in Carbon by default, i will include it in next version (missing it too)
UPDATE V0.2
CHANGES
AROM-Kernel V14 included (Main changes: overclocking to 1.7GHz, fixed reading of RAM-usage)
Apollo included
CM-Sources merged up to the status of today
Thank you sir! Starting my test today!
*After first two hours, I'm really impressed. Bluetooth audio through my car stereo is awesome, actually displaying track name instead of "paused", which I was getting on b221.
Two days in, and I'm noticing Bluetooth skipping during system navigating. When driving I also notice it skips during acceleration, stops and hard turns. I wonder if it's related to the "glance " function?
Besides that, I've noticed that swipe input doesn't work on stock keyboard, the launcher got stuck in a crash loop that required a restart, and the camera preview is always full screen, even if I'm taking 8mp photos. Photo comes out correctly though. Not sure if that's a bug.
WiFi and mobile connection are working flawlessly so far. Battery life is comparable if not better that b221.
Another thing I'd like to add, I got my HAM from Wind Mobile. On the stock ROM it would take forever if at all for the phone to switch to roaming when I was in an away zone or deep inside a large building. I'd miss critical calls, texts and emails. Now the phone transfers to roaming mode under the proper circumstances almost instantly.
Will continue testing, thanks so much!
V0.2 has resolved the WiFi issues I had on V0.1, WiFi connects everytime and no mysterious turning off of the WiFi. I also haven't experienced any "Sleep of Death" issues either. Been running this version since 6am this morning and no issues thusfar. Great job!!!!
Keep up the great work
Started using it since it came out, very happy so far. Bluetooth audio seems fine with just an occasional twitch but the first run went fine and then bluetooth cut out and would not be switched back on. Had to restart. Since then all is well.
Been trying to reduce power consumption without much luck.
Facebook video playback
I have very big problem, I can't play videos on facebook
I can't play online video。but cam play video in soft Decompression。
Hello, thank you for the job.
I can't send MMS (original application or third-party application), only SMS.
I seem to be unable to switch on bluetooth every now and then, requiring a reboot.
When I do reboot, bluetooth is already switched on after boot is complete.

Not yet.. wait for the fix
Have installed this version with google apps from opengapps; below is the observation
1. During initial setup it was unable to access the Google app, which didnt allow the apps and data restore
2. Initially it's very sluggish but given some time, it is smooth
3. Battery draining rapidly, need to check the reason
4. Safety check passed, which didnt in AEX. This allows apps like Tej to be installed.
5. Work around with camera - use Footej
6. The home button color in app drawer is whit while others are black
7. Ambient display crashes, doesnt allow to switch it off.
8. In phone information, VOLTE option is disabled. This is enabled in AEX 5.0
9. Device theme works while it doesnt in AEX
10. No random reboot since morning, which i used to get in AEX
This is the initial observation, will share more as i use it.
Been using it for the day, fluid rom, no random reboot. Deal breaker for me is that it media doesn't play via Bluetooth but phone does...
My camera dont open, even with Footej, is there any workaround for it?
I installed today morning, camera working, vdo unable to stop n, still testing testing. Some settings force close. Magisk working but still some apps says not rooted any solution?
Nice rom, fast and best performance. I like it.
Who don't use vdo, just go for it. Use oreo8 mini gapps and above only for best results.

Overall I am impressed by stability and speed and prefer to stock 6.0.1. It does seem to run hot with short battery life sadly which is my main issue. Neither does camera work even 3rd party ones. Good work. Thanks!

No. A device needs to be launched with project treble enabled to support project treble. And it is highly unlikely that Motorola is going to do that for the X Play

It's been a while since i logged here, but i sensed some emergency to aid here with some feedback. First things first.
1 - Camera isn't working (even with footej and no even any another program).
2 - Battery is draining like crazy (my xt1563 already discharged three time until now and there's a plenty of day to go on).
3 - NFC isn't work (but i guess you're all knowing this by now).
I guess it is by now. i will flash XenonHD now, but i've some hope to make this rom my dailyuse one.
Thanks for the hard work.

It seems to me that the error (and the solution) to the camera is in the kernel, when I use your rom with the Innfite4ever kernel the camera works, but the microphone in speakerphone stops working.
Bro, Will VoLTE work?

What is this? Pixel Experience is an AOSP based ROM, with Google Pico packages installed. Our mission is to offer the maximum possible stability and security, along with essential and useful features for the proper functioning of the device Based on Android 10.0
Why this ROM? I have tried many rom's to cool 1 over many the period of many years and most of the ROM are not stable I have had problems mainly with speaker and network ie LTE was not working since I have recovered the phone from a brick. This ROM is currently the best and stable ROM in android 10 with doesn't need any patches for sound. Sound work automatically with this ROM. For users who wants to stay at Android 9 - The most stable ROM is Evolution X.
How to get this ROM? You need to flash the custom recovery on your existing TWRP or any Custom recovery as this pixel ROM needs the updated Recovery img so that it doesn't throw Error 7 while flashing this ROM. Installing this ROM is pretty straight forward, Wipe everything including Internal Storage and format data and force disable the encryption. Flash the Custom recovery .img file in exisitng TWRP and Flash the ROM + GCam Camera Fix. Users won't facing sound problem can flash the sound patch.
What's fixed in this ROM? Fixed all media errors, crashes and instability. Fixed camera operation. Other changes under the hood. Sound working fine without any patch. Network stability is good.

Take a backup - Must
Wipe everything including internal storage ie Dalvik, System, Cache, Data, Internal Storage

So you think this ROM is better than LineageOS 17.1 in terms of stability, battery life and generaly speed?
The ROM stability is good than LineageOS 17.1, I have tried Lineageos 17.1 isn't happy about the stability and hence decided to reflash the pixel ROM. Pixel works fine the battery is stable and better than the rom i have tried over many months. I had tried LineageOS 17.1 and had issues with fingerprint and adaptive brightness. The Charging indicator light doesn't work while charging in lineagesOS 17.1,
A little bit about the Pixel 10 firmware. which was noticed during this short time, autonomous on average 10 percent of the charge per hour of screen time, when charging, the charge indicator lights up from yellow to green during notifications, the indicator blinks blue, YouTube, VK, OK applications work stable, I made video calls on Watts App, VK ,, Ok, I will update if i find any issues in the Pixel ROM.

Fingerprint doesn't work
Hi,
Few roms ago my fingerprint sensor stopped working. In your rom its is still broken. When trying to add fingerprint touching sensor gives no feedback. Any ideas how to fix it?
I was using PixelExperience and ROM is great but there are some problems. When you start using device you can notice that device is getting warm under your hands and after some time device gets so warm that cpu starts throttling and as a result of that, system start to slowdownc sytem UI is crashing and similar things to that. Except this problem everything else works great (notifications, gestures, battery, gcam, etc.).
Also I tried LineageOS 17.1 and on that ROM everything works great except notifications. Hovever, there are some patches that needs to be applied in order to get sound, remote control, and LED light working. All that you can find on 4PDA forum. The only problem I have with this ROM is notifications. When I'm using phone notifications works fine but when display is turned off messages from viber, whatsapp etc. are being delayed for about 30 to 60 seconds, and sometimes SMS won't show up as long as display is powered off and phone is locked.

You need to register on 4PDA forum. No, you don't need to go back on EUI everytime. When you're back on EUI with TWRP before flashing ROM always do full wipe (Wipe Everything + Format Data)

It was a bit tricky but finally I get registered on 4PDA forum and I downloaded the Coolpad Assistant keys. Thank you :good:
I have a problem. During the first start I have to do the access with an account Google. I insert the credentials of my account and it notifies me that the smartphone has been reset and so I have to do the access with an account Google already synchronized with the smartphone. I have tried to do a wipe data+cache but I don't have solved it.

A ROM é bastante agradável, só tenho problema ao gravar vídeos a câmera está escura,.
Hi, i installed this rom today and only one issue...tactil buttons dont works. I put 3 virtual buttons from the configuration of android and now i am looking for a solution for the tactil buttons.
PD: If u have problems with MiFlash just power off ur phone, hold up volumen button and down volumen button and plug usb to PC. If it works a red light still off and on all time, then MiFlash reconigzed phone.
For anyone who is interested: this ROM works perfectly on a Leree Le 3.
After flashing (and sweaty moments because of the flashing red light) it identifies as C106.

In some cases, the camera fails to open nd mi sound enhancer doesn't even open. Headphone mic not working in this rom nd whenever i press the switches on hesdphones to cjane track etc. It opens up Google assistant instead of changing the track. Speaker sounds tinny. Hope you'd patch these issues ASAP. this is my daily driver phone nd these issues concern me a lot.... P.S: phone heats up more than usual nd the battry drains a lot quiker now... Hope you'd fix these soon

Another question: if I am already in Android 9/10 and I would like to test different Android 9/10 roms I always have to go back to EUI before flashing new A9/10 roms ?

What is this? Pixel Experience is an AOSP based ROM, with Google Pico packages installed. Our mission is to offer the maximum possible stability and security, along with essential and useful features for the proper functioning of the device Based on Android 10.0
Why this ROM?

0. unlocked bootloader
1. flashed = fastboot eu rom
2. after full installation, enabled usb debug and authorized pc + checked adb success(for safety reason)
3. installed twrp as per main post
4. flashed orange recovery from twrp
5. installed oss...... file(main post)

side note:
if u guyz got stuck at system, product, vendor etc etc log
just reboot into recovery..
bonus tip:
when i was stucked on system partition. i had to=
1. rebooted into recovery,
2. flashed magisk via twrp
3.then right after flashed custom rom
if giving vendor product errors even after reboots
i had to reinstall eu fastboot rom
though it gave me positive results but later stucked at vendor, product

Lmao sorry i don't speak chinese...anyway, you should look for a vanilla rom (a rom without google therefore no android setup), which is not this one. There are telegram groups that have such roms just pm me if u like to know where.
Best Rom ever used flued smooth quick no bugs at all
is this the same as the pixel experience or is it very different?

1. U need to provide info/log of "a11 flashing"
2. Even in this pixel rom, while watching videos in chrome (famous 3rd party web player). Screen was flickering in video portions
Firefox was working fine
Plus for your info. Mx player's default settings were choppy. Had to switch to vlc. But results r not satisfactory in compare to miui
So the summary
It must be compatibility issue with modules/architecture (sorry i dont know right dev term)
Possible suggestion from m side=
If u have tried multiple roms and every rom is flickering, then u can try DIFFERENT KERNAL
I dnt gaurantee bt u can give it a try. Also check if any magisk modules can help u.
(Very less chances but it would be an experiment)

What rom I should choose for privacity/security?

Hello people, I recently unlocked the bootloader of my poco f3 and installed orangefox, but I'm thinking in change the room of my device for a more privacity friendly rom, but since I can't use graphene os, have someone a suggestion of a rom that I should give a try?
I appreciate all help.

Use this one - VANILLA
[ROM] [12.1.0] [alioth/aliothin] ArrowOS 12.1 [OFFICIAL] [DISCONTINUED]

then use universal adb debloater to disable every app that is not open source. Use f-droid to get open source apps. You can use droidify or neo store as your f droid clients. Also, you could unlock in developer options, under the quick settings developer tiles, sensors off. Basically, what this tile does is denying for every app in your phone access to your sensors, like camera, microphone or GPS.

On paper it sounds OK. Haven't heard of it before. Now, I wouldn't use mull that much. I would rather prefer kiwi browser or iceraven (more extensions support). Both suggested browsers are open source, so safe to use. Then again, you would also need some microg, for those apps that require Google services, like banking apps and whatsapp. Give it a go, should serve you better than some vanilla custom roms.
