Hi everyone, the problem im facing is whenever i try to flash a custom rom on my t217s it gives an error that this rom is for 217s while your tab is (empty log). Now i have tried flashing official ROM and than again flashing TWRP and CWM still same error. I have tried TWRP 2.6, 2.7, 3.1.1.
I would have used the official ROM but the play store keeps crashing.

I've recently attempted to flash a rom in the TWRP Recovery and im receiving an error saying "error updating binary in zip /sdcard"
Can anyone help please because i don't have a backup to go to and i'm in need for solutions
Are you running the latest version of TWRP? If not try updating to the latest version. If you are running the latest version, try Philz Touch. I had problems with TWRP but not Philz.
Another possibility could be that your ROM download is corrupt.
Hello guys, I've recently flashed TWRP recovery and tried to flash a 4.4 Kitkat rom onto my device.
I have a problem trying to install the rom. It keeps saying that there is no MD5 found.
And also could not create file for updater extract in /tmp/updater.
I've got everything that the rom requires such as the Hboot and Ext part. What's the issue here?
I've tried installing a lot of other roms but it keeps giving me this same error, I also can't flash 4ext using the flash from zip or anything. I always recieve the same error.

You could try disabling signature checking from recovery.
Trying to flash several ROMs on the latest version of Teamwin, and even a lower version after reading that it helped someone. Had to use ODIN recently and went back to a bone stock ROM, and now I rooted it and am trying to flash a custom ROM. Trying the latest SlimROM, Liquid, CM11, no luck.
Teamwin is saying "E: Error in /external_sdcard/ROM NAME
(Status 7)
Error flashing zip ' /external_sdcard/ROM NAME
Updating partition details. . ."
Any ideas before I re-ODIN my phone and go back to using a stock ROM?
Alright, I installed a JB stock ROM with bootloader via ODIN and I'll use this until tomorrow when I have more time. I'll re-root it, get a proper 4.3 ROM and give it a shot.
Did you give CWM a try?
Is there a reason your trying to use twr specifically?
So i have an s4 mini gt i9192 and it was the black edition of the device, and i rooted the device and i had cwm as my recovery but unfortunately i was not able to flash any rom because i always got the errors,i tried twrp and phliz with a number of diffrent roms meant for my device but they all seem to fail Giving me either status 6 error or error in executing binary or incompatible data.
I then flash 4.4.2 stock rom(i was on 4.2.2 before) which was meant for normal edition gt i9192 and not black edition. After rooting that still the problem remained! I dont know what to do IM not a big fan of touchwiz and i really want cyanogenmod on my device but it wont let me flash ANY ROM.
So, I recently installed PhilZ Touch 5. I wanted Android 4.4.x. Official flash from 4pda installed ok, but wifi module hasn't worked yet. I decided to install custom ROM. I installed Omega v31, but after that it doesn't boot, just walking bootloader. Another custom ROMs gives me "error 7 abort installation" when installing. How can I make Omega work? Please help.
