Question Time issue on Poco F3 and Huawei Watch GT3 - Xiaomi Poco F3 / Xiaomi Mi 11X / Redmi K40

There is an issue with my Poco F3 and Huawei watch GT3. when I connect my watch to my Poco F3 phone it shows the incorrect time. for example, if it's 2:30 it shows 1:30. but when I connect it to other phones like Huawei or Samsung it goes back to normal.
I contacted Huawei services and they said it's a bug on the Xiaomi phones OS.
Any help?
Thanks

Yeah, the thing is something should be wrong. Every tv which i try to connect it just dosnt ask me the security nip to start the conection.
Anyone else experience this?
all xiaomi devices screen mirroring problem.i don't understand.i use redmi 3 , redmi 4 and now mi 6 problem continued
Maybe a MIUI issue? Works fine for me with a Philips Smart TV and my Mi6 on crDroid, AOSPA and others.
I've had xiaomi.eu ROM ON Mi5s and screen mirroring worked fine. When i updated ROM late december, iz stopped working.
Then I've bought Mi 6 with global ROM. Iz worked Like a charm. Then I've decided to change to xiaomi.eu latest ROM Android again iz stopped working.
Does anyone have a solutuon on how to fix that, or I'M stuck with non-working screen mirroring with EU ROM?

[q] any issue on mi max 3 ?

has anyone encounter multitouch issue or bug when playing games like pubg on mi max 3 ? or screen retention or any issue? i planning to buy 1 after its available at my country and get rid of this buggy redmi note 5 ai.
Atleast I saw a Mi Max 3 has problem with multitouch like Redmi Note 5 AI/Pro. You should wait because Xiaomi fixed problem on Note 5 with Miui 10

I noticed that there was a bug in the microphone during calls, the person does not hear me. I saw on the web that it was a bug in miui, but I have not found a reliable solution.
Problem i found.
- When set Animator duration scale to 'Off', Google translate 'tab to translate' not working. Program crashed after clicking it icon when using it.
- Airplane mode trigger itself automatically (1 time in a week)
I have a problem with the smart cover function - it just doesn't recognize that the screen got covered and it's time to put the phone to sleep. I tested this cover with other phones also from Xiaomi and it works. I also checked the magnetic sensor in Max 3 and it's ok. It clearly looks like a software issue, although a recent update hasn't fixed that.
Do you also encounter this problem?
Yes I have big problems when playing plants vs zombie when I play splitti vases split

Found another problem on (CN Rom+ EU.MIUI 8.8.9)
- When copy file on SD card, copied file show 0 Bytes (Which is known bug for Android Oreo)
Bugs I have are as follows:
Mobile data does not work. Turn it on/off, does nothing.
WiFi signal/connection very poor and sometimes drops.
Mobile signal/reception is very poor. Unable to make phone calls if indoors, must be out door. When connecting a call, it usually cuts off as the other person cannot hear me. When anyone tries to call me it goes straight to voice message.
Very angry indeed as it is not usable.

GWA2 compatibility with Huawei Mate 20 Pro

So as per the title im curious whether the Galaxy Watch Active 2(SM-R820) has any issues with pairing to a Huawei Mate 20 Pro(LYA-L29).
Im worried because in the playstore review section(galaxy wearable app), there are mixed reviews about their compatibility. Some have mentioned that they have no issues pairing them and some complain they are unable to do so.
Are there any users who have tried pairing them?
Edit: After going through the feedbacks, i have gotten myself the watch today(29/11/2019) and you just have to pair the watch and it will immediately prompt you to install the necessary app and plugin to get the watch working. So its basically plug and play(Emui9.1). Leaving this here to whom it may concern in the future.
I am using the watch with Huawei P30 Pro and have no problem. The watch is functional great and paring is great. But I'm still with Android 9, I don't know with 10 how it's going to be, I read that there was any problems.

Thank you so much for your reply. Hmm i guess its ok to assume that my model should work fine too. Just to be safe i will be going over a physical store and hopefully they have a demo set for me to test.
On a side note, do you have google support on your p30 pro? Just curious.
Yes. No problem with Google app and support, have all of them and works normally.
I'm thinking that you have no problem with watch. It's great, I'm really happy with him. Come from Apple and don't believe that will have a android watch, who approach is very close to Apple watch, must say that is better. My only remark is whether app, don't know why sync is so slow, but my monitoring is that all Android watch have this problem.
Good luck and go get it
I use my gwa2 with my p20 pro, no problems whatsoever, just a lot of extra apps to download, which if you had a Samsung device would be native I guess.
The only two things that I have noted compatibility - wise, are:
- when you set an alarm via you phone, the watch will not register it as an alarm, therefore will not notify you. This has to be due to the fact that huawei alarm app is not compatible with alarm of the watch and therefore will not sync (although my notifications are set for the huawei alarm app..)
-there are some times when the watch gets disconnected from the phone, e.g. If I go out of bt range of the watch without my phone, but when I go back close to the phone the watch sometimes remains disconnected and I have to open the wearable app to press "connect" again.
That aside, the watch is great and I am so far astonished by its battery life, which is more than 3 days most of the time (WiFi off, all other on, relatively low brightness and goodnight mode set every night during sleep, in order not to vibrate in notifications but still track my sleep)

I have a Mate 20 Pro and it works perfectly as long as Android 9 is installed. Last week I upgraded to Android 10 and that's not a good match with the Galaxy Watch Active 2. I constantly have disconnects and sometimes can't connect afterwards so yeah you can use it but don't update to Android 10 yet! In the update notes Huawei already warned that the GWA2 doesn't play nice with Android 10 on the Mate 20 Pro, but I thought that it couldn't be that bad, but it is. In the same notes they said that there will be a fix but I don't know when it will be ready.

It's not that bad, it only happens as described in my previous post, that is if you go out of range and then go in range, sometimes it forgets to reconnect and needs manual connection

Noted i will stay away from 10 until there is a fix. Thanks
I might be unlucky but since yesterday I have many disconnections [emoji23] I think though that it might have something to do with an update in galaxy wearable app that was received yesterday.
Notwithstanding the above, I do believe that it is a great gadget to own and I repeat that the best thing that I have noticed so far is the outstanding battery life, to the point that I forget to charge it, yet never worry of running out of juice... [emoji51]

Oh alright. If its the app, maybe try downgrading the version see if there is any difference.

Current version of Galaxy Wearable and the Plugins (to support each watch model, we have a separated plugins) is not fully compatible with Android Q. But I think on 1-2 months, new versions that work with Q OS will be deployed.

Actually it was not the app itself, I think it was the plugin. I will be patient for any update, for now, I will just remember to reconnect it whenever it disconnects [emoji39]

I just got myself the gwa 2 today. So far everything seems fine. Still getting the hang of it. Its my first smart watch.
Anyway i realised there is a running coach in the workout, so if i make a custom workout, does the couch guide accordingly?

Question Delayed notifications?

I am considering buying a Poco F3, but reading a lot about delayed push notifications on MIUI 12. Does this problem exist on the Poco F3?
My F3 should arrive on Monday, but I have been using my F1/MIUI since close to 3 years now and I get notifications immediately.
Also on MIUI12, which is out for many months on the F1 now.

Edit: Removed pic, just clutters up the thread.
I can only speak for What's App messages, they arrive instantly
I got my f3 yesterday and having major issues with WhatsApp in particular. People who send me messages get only 1 stripe and they don't come in until I open WhatsApp.
I disabled battery optimisation.. Enabled auto start. Can't think of anything else.

Ahh that you mean.
Yes that has nothing to do with the F3 in particular, it is MIUI killing WhatsApp in the background.
I don't know the exact steps now but somewhere in the energy saving setting you can make an exception for WhatsApp, then it will work.
Short on time right now do dig into it, please be so kind and also ask Google
But it can be fixed

Maybe the screen protector quality is not good and you're facing this issue. I also faced this issue and I was fed up and removed the screen protector. My friend suggested a Gadgetshieldz protector which is better because after applying this screen protector I didn't face the issue again.

No, I dont think its the screen protector.
Today I had the exact same problem that you are showing in the video.
But not only on the middle of the screen. I also had this problem in the lower right corner of the screen when trying to send a whatsapp audio message. I could not hold down the record button. It always canceled the recording... Very annoying!
I installed a touchscreen test app from the playstore and it clearly showed that the screen has issues!
I already wanted to send it back to the shop where I bought it.
But then I thought about restarting the device...
And it worked!!
All touchscreen problems disappeared after restart!
Very strange. I googled the topic and we dont seem to be the only users which have these kind of screen problems. Looks like a lot of different Xiaomi devices have screen issues...
I hope the problem does not come back.
Did you try to restart already?
Did it solve your issue?
My Redmi note 10 pro has a similar issue with the scrolling.
I restarted the phone and it seemed to resolve it. I also noticed the phone was heating up more than usual when performing normal things like browsing and FB.
I felt the volatile memory may have gotten congested.

I hope its only a software problem.
Which software version have you installed on your Redmi Note 10 Pro?
My Mi 11 Lite 4G has:
MIUI-Version 12.5.5.0
Android version 11 RKQ1.200826.002
I never had these problems on my Mi 9 Lite. (MIUI 12.0.10 and Andriod 10)

one day it was solved automatically. Mi 11 lite display is the worst quality.
The problem of Black Crush still remains. They claim that it is a 10-bit display panel, but have never seen such poor quality AMOLED displays.
