I am considering buying a Poco F3, but reading a lot about delayed push notifications on MIUI 12. Does this problem exist on the Poco F3?
My F3 should arrive on Monday, but I have been using my F1/MIUI since close to 3 years now and I get notifications immediately.
Also on MIUI12, which is out for many months on the F1 now.

Edit: Removed pic, just clutters up the thread.
I can only speak for What's App messages, they arrive instantly
I got my f3 yesterday and having major issues with WhatsApp in particular. People who send me messages get only 1 stripe and they don't come in until I open WhatsApp.
I disabled battery optimisation.. Enabled auto start. Can't think of anything else.

Ahh that you mean.
Yes that has nothing to do with the F3 in particular, it is MIUI killing WhatsApp in the background.
I don't know the exact steps now but somewhere in the energy saving setting you can make an exception for WhatsApp, then it will work.
Short on time right now do dig into it, please be so kind and also ask Google
But it can be fixed

Im facing this bug on Xiaomi.EU, and i thought it was an isolated problem of this ROM. Interesting.

It has been there for a long time and no update is fixing it. It really bugs me off.
Is there any solution to this issue?
Ah so I'm not the only one to have it ?. Well someone in another forum told me that it's an issue caused by Google assistant and disabling it I should have fix it but I did it and the situation was the same. It's 3 weeks that I'm waiting for a weekly update that could fix it but nothing...
I'm sending continuous feedback through the Mi community hoping that one of these weeks it will be fixed
TEMP SOLUTION
Find the solution. Delete cache and data of Google app and disable the access to the microphone.
i turn on microphone back to on, and whatsapp voice note still working.
PS: Same problem 8.8.17
I'm facing the same problem with 8.8.16..
Sometimes audio are good but other times no
It's really annoying
I reported this on the Miui forum a few weeks ago. They stamped the topic with ( awaiting confirmation) or something.
Today I saw an other bug report opened about the same topic,
http://en.miui.com/thread-3555184-1-1.html
Please add your comment also there
Same problem, 8.8.23.

Hi there.
IS anyone else experiencing AOD not showing incoming calls? My phone rings, but the AOD doesn't change...so I have to tap somewhere to wake up screen, and then I can answer a call.
Anyone found a fix for this?
Same problem here with the Poco F2 Pro on MIUI 12.5.1
@Medomish did you found any fix for this? I've been facing this problem since the previous version, and the update didn't fix it.
I'm pretty upset with it.

No, still occasionally not waking up to an incoming call. Often it wakes up but with 2-3 seconds delay. Annoying, very annoying. I can see who is calling me on my Garmin watch, and then I wait to be able to answer it. Hope for a soon fix.
I've done this procedure 3 days ago, and since then I haven't faced any problem.
Give it a try! Maybe it will fix for you too

Hey guys i am having very much lagging problem in my phone. After my current miui virsion is miui 13.0.3.0 stable version.. can i claim warranty on this problem!!? I have bought my phone recently. Thnx in advance.
Hello,
If the phone has defects, the warranty should be taken into account. On the other hand, if the phone works well, especially the hardware, I think that sending it under warranty is not necessarily the right solution. Have you reset your phone since installing your update to MIUI 13?
Bill
i'm having the same problem, i see that very often the system start to lag when it have about 1GB of free ram. Then the camera slow down and the launcher sometimes crash. Closing all the app frees only some 100s MB, the only way is reboot the phone. I'm thinking about moving to xiaomi.eu rom
Definitely warranty. It's a phone. It has electronics inside. Just RMA the phone.
Mine does not have any lag, freeze, issue. It's the most stable, long-lasting phone I ever used.
The only "issue" I ever saw/had is the lack of OIS on the camera, but that's 100% hardware. Xiaomi loves saving pennies on camera all the time. (See Xiaomi 11T Pro)
Ps.: I've tried stock, Xiaomi EU Stable and Weekly; all with ram boost enabled and disabled. No lag whatsoever.

Same issue here.
Rebooting helps but for sometime only.

No lag even after 3/4 days without rebooting?
In a German forum someone could solve this problem by turning off that 2 GB memory extension in settings (turning it off is a good idea anyway).

When I saw that option turned on I disabled it immediately. No luck, still lagging
Some users on 4pda reported similar problems.
The solution - do not use custom themes, only pre-installed.
Classic/Boundless.
Proof link
Deepl.com translate:
"Can be happy with the phone today, holds 86% by the end of the day, nothing hangs and camera instantly on. Delete all the themes except for two "Classic" and "Boundless". I have Boundless, the phone does not recognize, but the other day I already wanted to throw it away for his stupidity. To understand - I have a phone so consumed the charge that the car when the navigator mode, he discharged even with the charging cord, and if you turn on the camera while the navigator, you have to wait for about 15 seconds. In short, I just realized for myself - it's crooked theme it so stupid!"

Today I was about to throw it against the wall...maybe I'll try with an RMA
Mine works better after a full reset. I didn't reinstalled all the apps yet. I do it one after one when needed to see if the problem comes from a specific app...
Until now all is OK, camera is working fine too.

yeah that's a way but i don't really feel like it. the phone should just work, and it doesn't, frustating...
I was facing the same issue , didn't tried to reset it , is there any other way?
I think it's a software issue , because so many users are facing this issue worldwide

I totally agree.
I had the same problem. What I did is reset the camera app settings and set it to autostart(saw it in a video) which fixed camera lag issue to some extent. Also there is an option to schedule shutting down of device, so I scheduled it to turn off and turn on in a couple of minutes just before my alarm goes off in the morning. The phone runs smooth like butter throughout the day!

First thing I've done
Hello,
I have an issue with my Pixel 6 Pro that is rooted with Magisk. When the always on screen is on and there is a timer or stopwatch running for example, it freezes for multiple seconds.
This only happens when the phone is not moving, if I pick it up from the table it starts working again...
Also, the fingerprint scanner doesn't light up when it is in this state.
I suppose it's not normal because my friend who has a Pixel 7 doesn't have this issue
Any idea of what could be causing this?
Edit: Here's a video of it happening
Edit 2: It can also be seen on screen recordings so i don't think it's a hardware issue (on these it just jumps to the next update so it doesn't hang but it skips multiple seconds at once)
I get all sorts of problems with my rooted 6 pro, including this. I've almost actually come close to snapping the device in half in my rage at the malfunction of it.
Is clock battery optimized? I can't remember if i had this issue, if i remember in thr morning i might try. What the shortest timer you've experienced this with?

Yeah I agree that this is really annoying, root shouldn't cause issues like this...

It always starts at 00:59 and it struggles to roll over to 01:00
I tried it with battery optimization off for the Clock app and turning off Adaptive battery but it didn't help

After reading the post again and watching the video, this doesn't happen on my p6 pro.
How do you flash your updates? What was your experience like without magisk?
Good point in your reply, it's been so long since I've actually been non rooted

I actually got the phone about a week ago and I rooted it instantly so I didn't use stock at all. But I flashed a13 through fastboot first to prevent bricking it due to the bootloader version.
I am not entirely sure if I'm tripping, but I seem to be missing phone calls pretty damn often. I think I recall at one point I randomly grabbed my phone to have it by me and noticed that someone was calling me but it wasn't ringing at all, though the screen did light up. I made sure my settings do have have "Do Not Disturb" mode on. I have the CPH2451 and running stock with latest OTA A.10 update. After doing a brief Google search, I see that OnePlus has had issues in the past but those are from the OnePlus3 and OnePlusNord so I am not sure if that's still relevant in this day and age.
Anyone experiencing something similar or have any clues as to what might be going on?
Edited: Fat fingered the model #. Fixed.

This might be obvious to you, so just ignore if you know this.
When holding your phone in your hand like you're texting in portrait mode, there's a switch top right and on side of phone.
Adjust the switch so it's down.
Ive experienced this, even after swapping to 2449.
Seems theres a couple settings that revert on reboots for some odd reason.
Just go into the phone app settings, notifications and reset thr ring tone and all set after 2 times doing it ... annoying?? damn right!... but at least its fixable ....

That's so dumb... The more I use this phone, the more I get buyer's remorse.
I haven't restarted my phone since I got it I think but I'll try that and see if the issue persists. Thanks!
Edit: Any word if OnePlus is aware of this and plans on fixing it? If not, perhaps I should forward this to them.

don't know if they are aware. just to add to the weirdness of it... for me... after the second time, the setting sticks...
i have this problem with my 8 pro, the phone doesn't ring and i think it goes straight to VM? seems like something broke with one of the latest OP updates?
There's no such version as CPH2541.
And here it works perfectly. Factory reset and try again.
