Need 960U1 unlocked FRP - Samsung Galaxy S9 Questions & Answers

So I got my hands on my uncle's Galaxy S9 that he smashed and I'm trying to bring it back to life but it wants a pin even after factory reset. I heard you can get around this with a method called FRP, but I can't find one that works on this one. Half sound like scams. What's a good working method?

Unlocking Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-I337

Okay, so I found a found at a gas station a couple weeks ago and I wanna get straight talk on it. The package I got, however, didn't have a SIM card that would work with the phone... The ATT ones were too small for the sim slot and it's an ATT locked phone, so the t mobile ones that came with it won't work...
Now, on with the part where I try to unlock the phone. I was originally going to root it but I don't have any experience and heard that it could kill the phone and I just need it unlocked right now. I've looked all around the net and here's what I found.
*#0011# - can't use menu back
*#197328640# - Takes me to the debug menu but the phone control option (in some walkthroughs it's 6, in others it's 8) simply isn't there.
Any number I've entered to get me into the system control menu won't let me go back from the menu it enters me in. I'm not paying 30$ to unlock it via ebay or one of these unlock code sites considering there's got to be a way to unlock it using the system controls. Can anyone help me? I've come close a couple of times on random forums, I see people asking the question however the conversation then gets side tract and moves on to something else.
So, I tried calling att and getting them to give me an unlock code and they said because I don't have a number. I've officially reached a dead end on unlocking the phone. I'm thinking instead I'll root the phone so I can use it (I think that works). But I know that it can be dangerous and come with side effects, so what I'm wondering is if anyone can give me any information on unlocking or rooting.
I'm not sure if I included what I'm trying to do in my original post.
I found a Samsung Galaxy S4 a while ago, I kept it around for a bit and no one came to claim it after two weeks so I took it home and used it on my wireless net and downloaded some games and movies for my daughter. Now, ATT is trying to screw me over on my iphone so I'm cancelling that contract and trying to get straight talk on this this phone. I bought the pack, put in the SIM card that fit and the phone read, and it came up that I need to unlock it to use this one because it was a t-mobile sim card (The att ones in the pack didn't fit).
All I want to do is use this phone with straight talk. The super small SIM cards won't fit in it and the larger Tmobile sim cards are Tmobile on an ATT galaxy and won't work.
Please help.
Try this method, worked for me to unlock. I used method 2. Some are reporting that this doesn't work for them. You will lose sound and WiFi on MDL modem but will fix when you flash back. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2597973

Received demo model

Hello all, I seem to have run into an issue, and a friend pointed me to this site. I just bought a new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition (model number Sm-P605vzkevzw) from an online retailer on Newegg; however, I seem to have received a store demo/showcase model.
The box was a large, heavy case that came with the tablet and what appears to be an inactive show model. I wouldn't care, but it has some pre-installed Verizon firmware on it called VZW Demo, which I can't seem to get rid of. The app will come back even after uninstalling, and then proceeds to auto start. I've tried a factory reset, but honestly, I don't know too much about these things.
Did I get a dud, or can this be fixed?
Do you care about warranty? Rooted then and use titanium Backup or a custom rom.

I have a friend that ran intoo the same type of thing. VZW demo is definately a floor model. Personally I would see what I could do about returning it. The battery has already been through hell and who knows what other abuse its been through while on display. If your stuck with it the only way to get the demo app to stop is to either root it and freeze the app with titanium backup OR flash it with either the factory ROM or a custom ROM. Either way you'll trip knox which means the warranty (if there is one) will be void. My friend fllashed his with a custom rom and then the demo mode was gone. Hate to say it but its a classic case of buyer beware. Floor models should go straight in the trash if you ask me. Sorry about your luck.
Me too...
Last year, money was tight and I bought one off of eBay for $200. However, I knew this was a demo model. I rooted the tablet & installed a custom ROM and I have been using it ever since. If you got a good deal for it (and no warranty), root it and load a custom ROM.
Edit: If it is less than 30 days, contact Newegg and explain what happened. They should take care of it.

Sprint Note10 plus help

hey guys, just bought a NOTE 10 PLUS from a friend dirt cheap since he cant unlock it. i tried to do the factory rest and now im stuck at the setup screen saying i need to varify myself. can you guys link me to the proper thread to download the firmware to flash with odin. theres so many varients that i need to ask for guidance. this is the N975U for the Sprint network. id like to just have it as a web browser if possible.
Simply return it to it's owner and they will be able to unlock it. Flash whatever you like, you won't be able to get around a frp lock.
The fact that 'the friend' is unable to unlock it makes it a bit suspicious...

Before you buy/accept any Android device make sure the seller/owner of the phone does a factory data reset before he/she sells/gives it to you.
Performing the FDR will disable the FRP lock (Google Anti-theft Measure). As stated previously if the previous person doesn't do the phone will ask for the previous Google Account login information for verification. Without that information you won't be able to use, flash or Factory Data Reset the phone.
There is 100% a way to unlock it as previously mentioned, return it to its owner. Buying stolen goods is not a good idea, that is what we can learn from this.
Wish I would have known this was locked this way. Dont think its stolen.. just found. Oh well..... learned the hard way.
I'm sure you do but the owner didn't buy it just so you could get a sweet deal on a Note 10 Plus. Stolen or lost, it could easily be returned to it's owner.

This is a found phone over the holiday shopping spree. That's what I was told at least. I've been out of the flashing world for years and was not aware about these new security system with Google. Bought the dang thing for 200$ thinking I was getting a awesome deal by just flashing it. looks like I lost money. So there's no way to unlock it? I was also forwarded that he couldn't unlock the thing. I thought I'd stay quiet and use is in since he doesn't even know what it is. Lol. I might have shot myself in the foot.

Am I understanding this correct? Your friend found the phone (he didn't buy it nor did he actually own the phone, he just happened to find it) that you bought?
If so then that is in fact a stolen phone. Regardless of what your friend said if someone happened to loose the phone it does not mean it belongs to the person who found it. If the friend didn't make a reasonable effort to find the owner of the phone then they have committed theft by finding.
The correct and legal thing to do when you found a lost phone is if you see any sort of carrier branding on the phone (Verizon, AT&T or etc) take it to the nearest store matching the carrier branding. Inform them that the phone was found on the ground. They will be able to locate the appropriate owner. If you can't locate any branding you should take it to your local police department in case someone called it in as lost. If the phone was found at a local store, give the phone to the store in case someone comes looking for the phone they lost.
And the answer is no. The FRP lock is an anti-theft measure. Surrender the phone to the applicable provider or local authorities so the owner can claim the lost device. Your friend should be able to give your money back if they are your friend.

Unlocking Note 10+ without password

Hi guys, a little drama here, long story short, bought a Note 10+ for a friend that unfortunately didn't deserved so I took the phone back, obviously my friend refused to unlock the phone, I know how to factory reset the phone but I know it will ask for the Google account associate with it after the reset and I don't have it. Any way to solve this? Root it and custom rom maybe? but not sure if possible with the phone locked. Contact Samsung maybe? I got the phone in Amazon, unlocked and activate it in my T-mobile account, first time this happened to me, thank you very much.
Why don't you tell the police so that whoever you stole the phone from can get it back
There is no way around an FRP lock, this is a question that has been asked many times before and the answer is always the same. Even if there was a way around the FRP lock, XDA is not the place for discussion of it.
Who buys a "friend" a Note10+...
If you bought the device, you can take the receipt and go to a Samsung Service Center, they will require you to show proof of purchase, and they can remove the FRP lock for you.
XDA is not the place to ask for removing FRP since it can be used to get access to a stolen device.

Issue with my s9

Got a used phone from an ebay seller and havent been able to activate it. When it got it, it worked perfectly fine. I had no phone number on it yet. The phone that I was originally using completely broke. Is there any way of being able to root this phone without odin or anyway possible of getting past the original owner login screen. Really would like to be able to get back to the phone screen rather than having to contact the seller etc
