hi guys, currently i got a redmi note 9s from malaysia. bought it from a local user but the mi account and google was locked out.
i dont have the actual phone number or emailed that register under this phone and its not telco lock.
look for youtube but hardly understands what the heck they mentioned.
anyone knows if this phone flashed with custom recovery and rom would bypass the mi/google account so that can be re-register again??

Try to make a new account then bind it with your device through devoper option then unlock through miunlock
Get your redmi 5a replaced its hardware error.
Hi
I had same problem as i tried to unlock it the day i received it, when contacted customer care they told me to post my problem to mi fourm (which I did) but no dev were able to resolve it.(also there are many people waiting for months and years to get it resolved which Mi has not been able to) so after waiting for a week as some support guy suggested but then finally went to repair center to get it resolved as if its a software problem they can simply flash latest version it i gen then bind my account but even after that my problem persisted and after some discussion they said its a hardware problem and I should get it replaced from retailer I have purchased it(Mi.com).
after this i immediately contacted mi support as my 10 day replacement policy was about to lapse but then after lot of talking and call disconnecting I finally made them to register my complaint for replacement and now I have new redmi 5a with my account successfully binded the day I received it.
P.S- 1. Immediately mail them about your problem of 86006 then call them about it, 2. Visit service center get your problem documented on job sheet, 3. Call them again to file a complaint for replacement citing service center job sheet that problem is Hardware related.

This is legendary error when binding your Mi Account on device. I already failed when binding Mi Account on Redmi 4x, even use china PVN, change Mi Account and so on.

I did, few times, and he didn't answer me. I denounced him in eBay, but nothing happened :/
@ivanchuck795: if there's a bill of contract, mail it to Xiaomi and ask for resetting the account. Btw: what does is blocked mean?
Hi guys, a little drama here, long story short, bought a Note 10+ for a friend that unfortunately didn't deserved so I took the phone back, obviously my friend refused to unlock the phone, I know how to factory reset the phone but I know it will ask for the Google account associate with it after the reset and I don't have it. Any way to solve this? Root it and custom rom maybe? but not sure if possible with the phone locked. Contact Samsung maybe? I got the phone in Amazon, unlocked and activate it in my T-mobile account, first time this happened to me, thank you very much.
Why don't you tell the police so that whoever you stole the phone from can get it back
There is no way around an FRP lock, this is a question that has been asked many times before and the answer is always the same. Even if there was a way around the FRP lock, XDA is not the place for discussion of it.
Who buys a "friend" a Note10+...
If you bought the device, you can take the receipt and go to a Samsung Service Center, they will require you to show proof of purchase, and they can remove the FRP lock for you.
XDA is not the place to ask for removing FRP since it can be used to get access to a stolen device.

Hey guys! Sorry as to had to create a new account, haven't posted here in a while.
I've did some searching but, is there no way out there to perform a sim unlock for the galaxy note 5? Sprint variant.
Any direction someone can send me?
Just bought the phone from a buddy and sprint wants his account info and all that nonsense to do it for me. Considering I only paid him a few $ for the phone it's alot to ask of someone lol.
Thanks!
Hello everyone i just bought a pixel 6 pro from ebay and as it turns out its carrier locked to verizon. I found a workaround on XDA but again i was out of luck since this method does not work after latest update which I obviously installed after setting up the phone does anyone have any ideas what can i do?
That phone may not fully paid off and if I were you, return is the only choice I would pick.

As of 2019, Verizon automatically carrier unlocks after the device has been on their network and the account is in good standing for 60 days. That this one isn't leads me to think it could be stolen, in which case the IMEI will be logged as stolen and the unit will NEVER work on Verizon. Anyone looking to return the phone would have done so and would not have hung on to it after the return window was closed.
All this talk about the carrier unlock ignores the 800lb gorilla in the room: bootloader unlock. Verizon devices cannot be rooted, period. When people say they have a Verizon phone I tell them to run, not walk, and get their money back. I'm telling you to do just that as Verizon devices are simply a terrible deal.
