I was wondering if all unlocked Google Pixel 6 Pro's come bootloader unlocked? If so Would it have to come straight from Google or would I be able to go to a BestBuy (or any store that sells an unlocked Google Pixel 6 Pro?

Unlocked means that it is sim unlocked to work with any carrier, not bootloader unlocked. Sim unlocked devices can be bought directly from the manufacturerbor any place the sells unlocked phones like Best Buy and Amazon. Hope that helps answer your question.
Welcome to XDA, @bhale99.
What @truckerdewd said. Factory unlocked models come SIM unlocked. Maybe you meant do the unlocked models come able to be bootloader unlocked. In that case, yes, all factory unlocked Google Pixels are able to be bootloader unlocked.

No they don't. As mentioned earlier, when advertised as unlocked they are referring to it being carrier unlocked only. To assure your bootloader can be unlocked, the best bet is to buy the unlocked version straight from Google, which is both carrier unlocked and bootloader unlockable.
With 3rd party places like Best Buy, Amazon, etc., you can't really be sure what model/variant you are getting when you buy a phone advertised as "unlocked", and thus can't be sure you will be able to unlock your bootloader as many of these places sell the Verizon model/variant even though it will be advertised as "unlocked". The Verizon model/variant can't at this time be bootloader unlocked.

Hi, hello there!
I live in Brazil and as you might already know, there is a HTC phone here named P4351.
(I supposed it is also known as Atlas, anyway, picture here:

Anyway, I have been researching the internet for something like 2 months already every day, at least 1 hour a day, trying to (sim) unlock this phone. As far as I know, this is a model that has been released only here in Brazil, but it is Similar to Herald (a.k.a Wing [I guess ]). People around here charge around U$ 90 to unlock it, and believe me, this IS expensive around here.
So, I tried many sites and also some unlocking services from internacional companies, but none of them worked. Finally, I decided to flash my phone with a Herald Rom (since they are interchangeable (so have I read around)) and check if it is possible to unlock it. Would that be possible? If so, how? HardSPL or SoftSPL?
Thanks you all in advance.

Locate your device and I´m sure you´ll find the way to unlock it
Good luck,
Ok, I look all over it and did not find a way to unlock it. Can someone point me the path to do it or answer my question?

Actually it is there, it says sim unlock is still under development.
Hard to unlock
I am into the same situation.
I have the same device and live in Brazil too.
Here people charge expensive to unlock this device.
I tried lot of methods but nothing seems to work for Herald.
If the ROM update would unlock it, I would have courage to do!
So I own a prototype AT&T play, the bootloader was unlocked but it was still sim lock to AT&T. I used wotan server to attempt to unlock sim but it was a no go (oddly)
Later I read a post where someone used omnious. So i bought some credits and used omnious and it failed repeatedly, and the error it was giving was "Bad TA Config".
Now I can no longer get into fastboot, everything I do results in a green light instead of blue. Any help?
Side note, I do not have a TA backup for this device.. is this phone permanently screwed?
Also, now when I attempt to use wotan servers unlock tool it says " No IMEI found"...
I searched and found this, don't know if this helps
Your fastboot is locked. Branded phones have fastboot locked.
You will need to pay to unlock fastboot. Find someone who have setool box.

Well you're going to have to ask Alejandrissimo on this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=17330852&postcount=2
He reply quicker if you ask him on Gtalk.

I should probably clarify, I had fastboot access prior to this issue. Bootloader was unlocked and I had fastboot access, only the sim was still locked. However as a result of attempting to unlock the sim (as it was a prototype AT&T did not have a unlock code for the sim) my IMEI number for this phone is gone, and will not power on and will not enter fastboot mode.
I PMd alejandrissimo but have not had a reply.
Alejandrismmo has a site where you can unlock bootloader (you pay first). The real question was the prototype working on at&t service before. Your xperia play might be a barebones phone (nonserviceable).

I received photos on request from the seller, very reputable on eBay. The images were time stamped for 5 minutes after I emailed him and showed it powering on, powering off, and several photos of homescreens and apps, all showing AT&T in the top right.
Will the unlock-bootloader.com fix my phone bad TA file? Currently it shows up as no IMEI # in several softwares.. and again will not power on or access fastboot.. despite having this before..
Edit: I as on the site you provided earlier and fixing a bad TA is listed as "contact us"....... which I have both through the site and through PM and a gtalk chat invite
Got a hold of Alejandrissimo, this guy is freaking awesome. Fixed my phone......in minutes... this guy was a life saver... Thank you Alejandrissimo...
Hey guys,
I own a "locked" Z1 Compact and I'm just wondering what are my options? the default ROMs for this phone are utter cowpat.
Has anyone come up with a way to force the phone to become unlocked or a trick method of installing another ROM? by unlocked I mean to allow the installation of any ROMs not anything to do with messing with the cellular capabilities.
Thanks for all the past development for my past devices
Thread title fail and I can't fix it lol

Completely wrong section, but do you mean that your phones status is "bootloader unlock allowed: no"? Or have you just not unlocked it?

Yeah, as far as software goes there isn't anything you can do about that. Your only option is to speak to whoever sold you the phone and ask for an unlockable one if they have them, or just buy an unlockable one from somewhere else.
Thank you for the snappy response, guess I'll sell this phone and see if I can get my hands on a unlockable one. or hopefully find someone who'd be willing to trade
Hello everyone,
I just got HTC 10 sim locked to carrier from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BH Mobile) with 24 months warranty, and I want to sim-unlock it to be able to use it with another operators.
In order to achieve this, I have tried 3 different unlock code providers online which delivers unlock codes based on device IMEI, but all of them delivered the same 2 unlock codes which doesn't work. All of them claim that those are HTC factory unlock codes.
Could it be possible that this carrier changes unlock codes after HTC delivers devices to them? If this is the case, what are my options to get sim-unlock, but at the same time stay within warranty? Warranty is not voided by sim unlocking , but it is voided by bootloader unlocking/S-OFF. Will flashing official RUU remove the simlock or not? Can Sunshine be of any help in this situation?
Also I have noticed one maybe interesting thing - after inserting SIM card from other carrier, phone asks for the code, but this screen is not exactly what I expected - it requires unlock password, and not sim unlock code. To clarify, let me post some screenshots.
These are the screens I got after inserting SIM from other carrier:
{

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
and I have seen screenshots from other HTC 10 users on the Internet, whose SIM unlock screen look something like this:
As you can see, screen is not exactly the same ("Type password to unlock" vs "SIM network unlock PIN"), although in both cases 8 digit SIM unlock code is required. "Network locked, contact customer service" text part is the same. Maybe it is related to different SW versions, but also it might indicate something is different with this carrier. I can cormally use the phone without SIM, and also when original carrier SIM is inserted.
I hope someone have an idea what is the issue here, and also how to solve it (get sim unlocked phone).
If it matters my CID is HTC__034 and MID is 2PS620000. Phone is absolutely and completely stock (and I would prefer if it could stay that way if possible after SIM unlock), just official Nougat OTA is installed after first boot via WiFi. Current SW versions screenshot is below:
I would be happy to provide any more details or information if needed.
Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Djervi
Hello there, I am on the same boat, i receive the same message, android version is the same.
I am from Romania and the phone is locked on Vodafone network.
Hi raziel,
unfortunatelly, I have confirmed that this carrier changes unlock codes after delivery from HTC, so none of the factory codes work.
Since I wanted to stay completely stock and no flags triggered because of the warranty conditions (and also Sunshine still doesn't support sim unlock on this model), I have decided to go non-tech way - found a local inside guy who has access to database of those changed codes from the carrier (which they use to send unlock codes to customers after contract period has ended). It costed me 20 €.
So no fun after all, just a classic inside job ?
Hello I have a T-Mobile unlock N10 I would like to know if I can install a N10 global Rom or NA in it. I have noticed that the global version have certain settings that are not greyed out
Thanks in advance
I'm using the european rom linked to in this thread (https://www.xda-developers.com/oneplus-nord-n10-5g-android-11-update/) and it is working fine for me on Google Fi (which is T-mobile nvmo). I'm supposedly getting a 5G connection too.

Just to be clear I have an T-mobile unlock n10 but I am using H2o wireless services. I am interested in getting the wifi calling option as my girl have a n10 from oneplus and that option is there for her to choose.
Edit: I believe my Bootloader is not greyed out (able to unlock) as we contacted T-mobile and was able to unlock phone for other carriers
Thanks

I can't guarantee compatibility for your specific carrier but yes the process that I linked you will allow you to install the global version of the ROM on a T-Mobile device.

Cool ...now I saw a thread on magisk for install would any be better than the other method ?...thanks again
If you check out the post "Found a chink in the armor" you'll find a debloat tweak. That will allow the OEM Unlocking to be clickable. Request your unlock token from oneplus, and unlock and root as normal. I just completed it. I am NETWORK LOCKED, for now there is a work around.
You can see here I am still network locked. The other pics will show you I'm also bootloader unlocked and rooted.
