Ye i got a pixel 6 pro on 25th march I did the restore and it was installing from back up and I went into settings and said software update was the march update.
And I left phone docits thing next I checked it it was boot looping did the power vol down and got into the safe mode thing and I rebooted then boot loop again and got back into the safe mode again.
But then I couldn't actually use the phone it stayed into the safe mode but couodnt do nothing this was Saturday I just left the phone off charge to die of battery forgot the paperwork on the Monday for the ee store but they didn't have a replacement phone so had to wait till Tuesday to get replacement I think the store person tried the safe mode thing since I had the pixel 6 pro iv had no problems at all with the phone other than the USB c audio and had to turn off and back on as finger print didn't work kept failing but since then no problems at all I cam from a Sony Xperia 5 ii to pixel 6 pro
I've got rooted p6pro on stable 12.1 and it does weird stuff. Today it went into a lockscreen loop, where I couldn't enter past the lockscreen with my pin, or reboot. Well, I finally got it to reboot. Mind you, I've flashed my p6pro probably 50 times now

Same here. I've had that lock screen loop happen to me too, a handful of times. Swiping my pattern or fingerprint wont advance me to the next screen, it just stays there. Rebooting usually fixes it for me though, but I've also ran into bootloops with it never passing the g logo with the progress bar below it.
It's definitely weird. I also own a Pixel 4 Xl, 3Xl, and a Nexus 6, and have never experienced a phone randomly bootlooping when trying to unlock my phone.

Hey, everyone. I know this issue has been reported before, but NONE of the solutions are working for me. Perhaps I just have a bad Nexus.
I received the device for Christmas and it has worked perfectly fine. Super fast, fluid, responsive. Then, suddenly, I was using the device and it randomly rebooted. I thought, "whatever, this happens to all devices at one point or another". But then, after I turned it on, it got stuck on the Google startup screen for at least 5 minutes. I decided to restart and try again, but this time, it got stuck on the google screen, rebooted on its own and got stuck on the google screen again, repeating this cycle over and over.
So I went into Recovery mode to wipe the cache and do a factory reset. Not even this would work. The factory reset worked, but when I started up my tablet again, it froze at the Google screen. Eventually, it would just continue the cycle of freezing and rebooting. This is ridiculous. A brand-new, unrooted Nexus 7 on 4.4.2 should not be completely unusable. My warranty is up on the 18th, so I will probably just return it, unless someone has an idea.
Thanks.

That'a your best option. If you haven't modified it in any way then use your warranty.
I agree. Since you did not root it, there is probably something wrong with your tablet and you should get it exchanged while you can

I am going through the EXACT same thing and no one has been able to help.. What I did to fix it was re-flash the 03.15 bootloader and that allowed it to start. I think there's some tablets out there that "don't like" the new bootloader included with the KitKat update and I'm glad to see that it's not just me... At least you are able to return yours. I purchased mine back in August last year
Hello,
Today, while I was using my phone, it restarted itself and has been stuck at a boot loop almost entirely since then. It has successfully booted up 2-3 times but will usually restart itself within 30-45 seconds of booting and then will be stuck in a boot loop again. When it has started up its usually after it has been bootlooping for a while. I have an H811 , I'm rooted and using xTreme Rom v2.0. I have had occasional random reboots here and there before but the phone always booted right up again without any issues. I haven't done anything with root/recovery since early September.
I've tried doing a factory hard reset without any luck. My phone booted up after I tried the hard reset and it was like the reset didn't happen. I can't boot into TWRP. I can boot into download mode and I tried to reset using kdz. It got to 100% but the the phone restarts and is back in the boot loop (then the lg flash tool gets an error and force quits). I've tried removing my sd and sim cards, I've tried swapping to a different battery, I've tried leaving the battyer out and letting the phone cool down. Nothing is working. I have noticed that when the phone is going to boot up correctly the full LG animation plays. When the phone is going to boot loop I only get a static LG Powered by android image.
Since I tried and failed to reset to stock using kdz, the phone no longer boots up past the LG screen. I've redownloaded the kdz file and tried to reset again with the same results. When I have it in download mode Windows recognizes the phone but it says there's an issue with the MTP driver. I've reinstalled the drivers and I still get that the MTP function isn't working correctly.
Any suggestions?
Hey man u r just having my problem. There is a thread already for this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3233160

I am having the same issue. I have T-Mobile G4 that is NOT rooted. I bought it on release day. I too would get random reboots, particularly after the recent security update. I also noticed that the operating temperature was really high, a lot lately. I thought it was a rogue app (clean master). Anyway, I updated a few apps and installed a few watch faces. Suddenly, my phone was drained prematurely. Plugged it into a quick charge charger when all the fun begins. Early on it would boot to the home screen but would reboot a minute or two later. Then it stopped booting to home. On two occasions that I caught, it was starting up like a firmware update just installed with the "Android is starting 1 of 143 apps" type of line. After seeing that and still not getting to home, I figured I might as well factory reset it. Well I was amazed to discover that a factory reset yields the same boot loop. All I get is the LG logo.
Defeated. I go to my local TMo retailer where I bought the phone only to find out that I have to wait for delivery of a replacement. I'm in Jump btw. I did notice that when the phone will boot to home screen for whatever length of time, the LED would work. The LED does not work during a boot loop. My research on this issue uncovered an alarming trend on the Internet. No solution other than replacement. No cause has been identified either. Without proof, these are my top suspicions: Quick charge, 128G SD, apps moved to SD. My hunch is quick charge. All of my chargers are Qualcomm certified quick chargers. and I use them 95% of the time. I would hate to add LG to my list of boycotted Android vendors under Samsung.

Thanks. I'll try reposting this there. I did use CSE flash. Oddly enough it booted up once this morning for about a minute then got stuck and rebooted. Now its back in the boot loop.

Sounds like the boot loop issue is a decent sized one- quite a few others, from different variants, having all having a similar issue. For me I was walking with my phone checking facebook when it restarted and got stuck. I definitely notice the LED issue too. I'm not on jump but will likely go into T-Mobile today and see what they tell me.

Exactly what happened to me. now after CSE flash of KDZ, it won't start at all. just boot looping. also after hard reset.
Hello all,
My Pixel XL randomly started resetting on its own and then gets stuck in a bootloop. It used to reset 1-3 times a day a do this (Its been going on about a week now), but the last couple of days its been doing this several times an hour. I can get it to stop the bootloop and finishing turning on by pressing the power button a bunch during the loop, but it will shortly reset and start the bootloop.
I can't even power my device off, because before it can finish powering down, it will reset into the bootloop. I have contacted Google, and they weren't much help. They said they can send me a new device, but it will be a week or two. Any suggestions on what I can do in the meantime to try and fix this? I've already done a factory reset and that did not help.
Thanks!
This keeps happening to me. Any luck finding a fix?
Same here. I updated to the latest patch a few days ago and now my Pixel (not Pixel XL) goes through bootloop a few times a day...
I've had similar issues with my Pixel XL recently. It started with a random reboot, after which it just ran really slowly, with apps telling me they weren't responding or the whole thing just freezing up. Shortly after that it went into a boot-loop (boot, input PIN to unlock, screen freezes, auto reboot, rinse/repeat).
For me, a factory reset would solve the issue for a couple of days then it was back to the same problems.
I returned mine to the shop this weekend, and they have sent it off for repair/replacement; in the meantime they've given me a basic Android loan-phone.
Sorry; I'd like to tell you I had a fix for this, but I just wanted to say that I too experienced this issue and simply took it back for replacement/repair. I guess it depends where you bought it (I got mine SIM-free from a shop in the UK) for them to offer something else to tie you over.
Hi All, I'm new to XDA. I bought my LG Nexus 5x in 2016 (July). Since last week my phone isn't working. This is what happens.
When I switch on the phone after full charge. It starts with a very small white light ,but no display (no logo , nothing).
There is a welcome password at the start. So it will not go to any other step. I couldn't type my password , because nothing on the screen. But when I try to press on the screen , I can feel the keyboard touch.
I alos tried changing the display with another working 5x display. But same issue. Any suggestions guys?
PS : I didn't update this to Oreo. But before this issue happened , there was an auto update of Google Play Service with 430 MB (I also cancelled auto update ,didn't know how it was updated without my permission) , after that Oreo update notification wasn't in notification panel. But when I was checking at Setting OS wasn't updated to Oreo at that time
Alright so this exact thing happened to me few months back. I bought new phone and moved on. So like 20 minutes ago, I got the urge to check on my nexus if it can be revived and surprisingly, the screen started working. I don't know how, but the screen was totally black before i gave this phone up (with backlight on) and I could feel the vibrations. Just a few minutes ago I have started seeing these screen distortions again. I think it's a software issue so i'm downloading latest 7.1.2 ota to flash and will apply bootloop fix and see if it fixes anything.

Hi, Thank you very much for kind reply. I don't understand the last part. Did you resolve the issue? Did you flash the device? Please help me with the steps that you have followed.
Hello everybody,
Yesterday I was on my phone and when I went home using the navigation gesture the phone all of a sudden rebooted, and I thought "Okay, it's just a one time error". When the cellphone booted again it showed the logo and then black screen and a WhiteLED on, it seemed bricked, so I reset the whole phone and it was alive again. However, once again today the same thing happened, no root, no mods, all stock. Has this happened to anybody else ? Do you guys think it's a hardware matter or just software ?
P.S: Happened when I was on Open Beta 10 and this time on OOS 5.1.3. Can't boot into the system nor Recovery, fastboot is fine.
*Update: Phone is now completely dead, won't even turn on
Thanks.

Me too, I remember having an LG G4 back in the day that wouldn't pass 6 months without having to change the mobo, it might be a similar case.
