How do I factory reset rooted OnePlus 9 pro? I need to sell it.
Is there any other way than MSM ?
it's enough to do a factory reset and locking bootloader. If you flashed some kernel/custom roms, it would be better to flash stock rom and then lock bootloader

The only "safest" way to revert back to stock and CLEAN flash is MSM if you did any kind of custom mods, root, ROM's etc....

due to there is no official 2.2 from htc you must flash a cooked rom. Within the cooked rom you'll find the flashing procedure.
Thanks but what is cooked rom
First thread, sticky in this section; http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=696189 explains it all, you even have video-tutorials

I do agree that you really should read at least some information in the sticky threads before asking such a basic question, but i took the time below anyway, but afterwards please let those sticky's answer your questions
A cooked ROM is either a freshly compiled version of android, or a port. Then there are numerous advantages and addons, the common one is that you always have root-acces, basically "administrative" access to things that stock-roms try to keep you away from.
Cooked roms was especially great some time ago, when android didn't provide tethering support (internet sharing), paid apps was more limited, hardware on phones was more restricted and with cooked roms you could overclock the cpu, move applications to your sdcard and have a linux-kernel that left you with more available RAM.
Then there's often other hacks and cooked roms are almost always faster than stock-roms.
The only disadvantages is that by messing with these kinda things you void your garantuie. Most of the time, rooting is safe and tested before published, but if youre flashing a newe radio-version or spl (a separate part, not the actual ROM) there is a risk for "brick" leaving your phone unusable in some case.
That said, if you experience some kind of hardware issue that you know isnt related to the ROM, you can "unroot" your device, basically put back the original rom so that it doesnt appear modified at the repair center.
Desire is very easy to root, a simple script you run on your computer updates your stock rom with a rooted one, leaving your settings and all as it was, but with root acces and the posibility so change rom if you like
I would suggest, respectfully, that if the OP does not know what a cooked rom is, or that there is no official 2.2 as of yet, that perhaps trying to root may not be something they do until they've read up on it a lot more.

Hi,
since my phone has caught some error I want to completly reset it. I can not reset it to factory defaults, since it crashes before. So I just want to reflash the stock ROM, my HTC One V came with (oh, and I do not have the file, which is an unbranded German stock ROM, it shipped with). How can I do that? All I find on the webs is how to flash custom roms and too the device. Mine is not rooted. Thanks.
Hi, please search before creating a new thread. Chances are, you question already exists, with answers. Also, when creating a thread, please post in the, correct, subforum.
Thank You.

Sorry, you are,of course, right! I did search the forums, but may have used the wrong words. I found out later.
I have a galaxy ace i8160L, and i want to install custom roms, but i see that there is a model i8160 WIthout L (and i see other with i8160P), dont know where to start, and i dont know if i can use all the tutorials from i8160 to i8160L. I dont want to brick the phone for doing something wrong, also, if there is any way to avoid flash counter that would be great (i see a flashable for CWM but for i8160, so dont know if can be use it with i8160L)
Any help is appreaciate. thanks
Search around the Ace II general forums. There was one or two guidez on how to make this possible. For gingerbread only so far. also, I'm not sure but maybe you can use the manual flash counter reset using terminal.
oh by the way, there's a q and a thread and its stickied, any further questions that are not related to this should be posted there since most of the users are monitoring that thread therefore a better chance to get an answer.
Nevermind my sig, its my sig in XDA app.
Is pressing "THANKS" to hard to do? If you think my post is helpful then click that button! Ungrateful bast***s
You should ask in the Question and Answer Thread, not making new threads for just a single question.
And i8160L is the NFC version, there are a few ROMs as mentioned by Dro1ne and you can try installing non-L ROMs but you'll most likely to lose your NFC functions and a little chance of brickings. CMIIW though.
Should one see another pointless thread without asking it in the Q and A Thread, don't reply to it and let the thread sink to bottomless pit of hell.
EDIT: sorry for the harsh language, it's just really getting annoying when I see new threads but just asking a single question of not the same question again and again.
ok, sorry, i search first but still no clear, i will ask a last question there.thanks for your time.
Dont worry, i understand, was my mistake. i just want to see if keep the phone or not, i already have another android, but this is just because a friends need it and want custom roms like mine.

Not that I don't want to help, but these questions have been asked so many times that I'm getting tired of answering them. Since you're new, I shall help you for now:

Also, being new here is not a valid reason for asking questions as trivial as this, so please learn to do it yourself.

I supose you have unlocked your bootloader with the link @popthosegaskets provided. Now just head over to:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2320872
and pick a ROM that suites your needs. Every ROM has its pros and cons i guess so Id advice to scroll the posts of the different ROMs and check what features they have, what bugs are still present and decide uppon that.
Most developers suggest you a certain Kernel to be used with their ROM, and either provide you with a download link to the kernel or include a boot.img with their Kernel.zip. Additionally to that some developers request you to download some fixes/modules, those are aswell listed in the Kernel/ROM forum post. Once you have the Kernel, ROM and modules/fixes, follow the Kernel flash instructions on this forum post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2131284
once the Kernel flash is done, install the ROM and modules + fixes, always check the ROM forum post because some developers want you to flash modules and fixes in a certain order. You ofcourse might want to put all this files on your SD-Card and install them via CWM.

Hi, I wanna know if there are a Nougat stock or Marshmallow stock rom, to flash via TWRP, for the Xperia E6853?
Hi, I would like to re-lock my bootloader so I can have automatic updates again. I already have a TA partition so I can restore my DRM keys. What exactly is the procedure to properly relock the bootloader? Thanks.
Thanks!
How can I Freeze/Disable app without root? by adb nougat 7.1.1
I'm looking for a clear (hopefully simple) explanation how to root the z5p, including how to backup the DRM keys. There are way to many complicated posts and discussions on the topic.
Thanks!!

Hi
If you have unlocked the BL, go ahead and flash a custom recovery. I personally recommend TWRP. Then flash the SuperSU zip file from the recovery.
