So far there have been a few builders that have shared ROMs on telegram, but they haven't made their way to XDA. This will hopefully be a nice way to share them with everybody on the forums

thnku so much.. this rom is working perfectly on my kiwi L21..

I dont know why, but if i flash this rom it stays in Bootmode (Boot-Logo), no restarts..
Prevous installed ROM was crDroid v4.6.1, and i've done a Clean-Flash...
Im also flashed a MM Stock ROM and tried to flash it again, but same thing, doesnt boot up..
crDroid v4.6.1 instead works just fine..

I can not flash this Rom

update ur twrp recovery using twrp app (only if mobile is rooted). then flash rom.. it will work.

Hi, I've been trying this rom and it feels amazing, but when I send voice notes via WhatsApp or Messenger, the volume is too low. Is there any solution?

Running the Rom, Its great. Thanks to the OP :good:
It's just:
* No sound in Calls
* And in "about phone" the IMEI says Unknown, But SimCrads are functional
* Mobile Data doesn't go higher than 2G although the preferred network type is LTE
* Contacts are not read by apps [including "Phone (default dialer in Rom) & latest ver of WhatsApp (66.0.0.0.17 (125404728)) ]
* There was no default music player with the Rom
* Equalizer doesn't make any difference on audio output ( speaker & headphone)
What is the right root solution (except Magisk) for this Rom?
There is an app named "Shell" but it has no icon and no shortcut, what is it? (you can find it in battery optimization option)

No, but I'll try to update it at least once more.
Edit: The ROM devs stopped updating the Oreo branch for this ROM after my latest build, so I won't be updating this anymore after all.
Edit 2: Just gonna use this thread for Pie. I don't plan to update this very much

Sorry for statusbar i'm not able to hide notch....
For backups, i've not tested a restore, but you should move yours to PBRP folder and then you can try to restore.

Finally, a MI 8 recovery with OTA survival.
Big ups!
(Bootloader locked so can't test it....gotta wait a month)

Another thing that i've not tested (i'm on xiaomi.eu weekly, so i install full rom every week, i've no OTA on xiaomi.eu)
but there are some infos under advanced settings

This feture is not tested on MI 8 and is not clear how to use or what it does, so atm i've removed the ARB related features from OP (could be dangerous to use this untested features to roll back from Pie to Oreo)

Thanks for clarifying. It would be great to have a tool that prevents us from flashing files with lower arb counter in the future, just to avoid all the bricks.

or I just disable it like default setting?

Patch it using magisk app.
Copy the patched image to pc.
Flash the image from pc via fastboot

Another (very) slight annoyance I've found. The lock screen always shows an alarm 10 mins into the future, when no alarms are set:

Just incase.
Actually you can format it before flash the rom. for example run
1. fastboot reboot bootloader
2. fastboot -w
3. fastboot reboot bootloader
then continue with flash.bat
sometimes if you use hardware to boot to bootloader, it's cause problem

I made a flash from the Arcana v402 system and everything works, even the memory stick. Only NFC does not work for me, but I remember that it stopped working on the February version of LinageOS and on the factory rom from Sony. From myself I will add that I like this rom very much and I will stay on it permanently as there will be monthly updates. Thank you very much to the author for making the rom available and for the work done on it. I wish you a nice day and good health.

Considering how this person quickly abandons his previous thread on his previous rom and doesn't answer later questions, I highly suggest people avoid this rom until this person has proven to be more willing to answer questions and support his own rom. Could I ask what I should expect with each of these new compiled ROMs? Is this meant to be a Pixel-like experience? So many new ROMs and this 9 Pro is my first Android device in quite a while. Used to be a developer for the Galaxy S2/3 and some older Moto devices. Just a simple description would be amazing. And thank you for taking the time to compile these for us. Doesnt not even register there is a sim card in the phone.under settings,network it says no sim and its greyed out.aospextended is same way

I haven't gotten to play around with this but which ROM is this working properly in? I'll look into the GIT tree and see what the baseband is getting from the SIM. I'm thinking it's something to do with ICCID not registering or something.
Also, do you have any boot logs? Maybe it's not initializing the baseband correctly? So many things it could be, but more information is needed.

It works fine in all roms but proton,pixelblaster,aospextended and corvous but not sure of the new build of corvous that was put out.will test it when i get home

You have to turn the phone off and insert your sim on the splash screen. count to 3 when you see the splash screen and then insert sim card. ive had to do that for all A12 roms
