Just incase.
Actually you can format it before flash the rom. for example run
1. fastboot reboot bootloader
2. fastboot -w
3. fastboot reboot bootloader
then continue with flash.bat
sometimes if you use hardware to boot to bootloader, it's cause problem

I made a flash from the Arcana v402 system and everything works, even the memory stick. Only NFC does not work for me, but I remember that it stopped working on the February version of LinageOS and on the factory rom from Sony. From myself I will add that I like this rom very much and I will stay on it permanently as there will be monthly updates. Thank you very much to the author for making the rom available and for the work done on it. I wish you a nice day and good health.

Considering how this person quickly abandons his previous thread on his previous rom and doesn't answer later questions, I highly suggest people avoid this rom until this person has proven to be more willing to answer questions and support his own rom. He might do the same in this thread to this rom too.

Bruh. I'm not get paid from this and this is not my main job. I'm doing this stuff when I have free time. If you want avoid, there's no problem for me, yes I'm not buy food from how you install this rom.

I would think it would be newer commits to the source. Check github if you are curious.

I'm gonna try this out and report back. I'd like to know if you've changed anything or what's been updated. The post is a little bland and blank with no info about this rom at all

Well. This build includes all massive work made by kessaras to date, so some stuff was fixed (e.g. IR Blaster works now) and a lot of improvements (e.g. RIL and battery consumption). You can check all that in his github:
-> TITAN Kernel
-> G4-Common
-> Vendor
and obviously includes also all changes made by RR team and a recent security patch -> Changelog . Personally I only added a fix for those (inclosing me) who have problems with the WiFi MAC where just get zeros.

yes, you can just dirty flash or wipe system/cache/Dalvik and flash this ROM.

Tried it btw, but it kept booting into twrp. So I guess a clean install then. ??
Edit: it worked, after wiping system, dalvic and cache two times, flashing rom, gapps, magisk etc, reboot

I'm back at AtomicOS, the only security, here d2w does not work, what with that ...

d2w is disabled in any recent ROMs using Titan kernel because it was a buggy workaround for the fact that the original LG implementation doesn't work with custom ROMs.
This meant it drained the battery like mad, so it has been disabled to enable massive battery improvements

is the crap that it drains the battery, why not do it in other ROMs?

I don't really get what you mean?
For the G4 it has been disabled in all new versions of ROMs as the benefits to the battery far outweigh the missing d2w. Any ROMs with it enabled are just old ROMs.
As for other devices (not the G4) using it, ofc they may not have a buggy implementation like we do

Ok, if you downloaded the zip file, find recovery.img and unpack it. Than just use fastboot as you would flash recovery for the first time but before that to be sure that everything works use "fastboot erase recovery" and than "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"

I have a booting lineage os zip but I have to fix some missing packages in vendor partition which is taking a long time. When there will be the q source available I am definitely going to put work into porting it for this phone. My work is available on GitHub under the same nickname.

Nope, there are not such things as cross compatible recoveries.

Since I flashed the recovery I'm in bootloop and I can't do anything anymore.
recovery and bootloader work but I can't install stock firmware
should I flash the original recovery, but where can I find it?

you can use twrp from martin and flash zip or sideload it. after zip flashed it's have rom recovery.

I daily drive it for over two weeks now, so i suppose it can be considered as a daily driver.

Anyone have a carrier unlocked T-Mobile phone using this? I have Verizon and all the other a13 Roms don't detect my sim. Want to make sure before I flash. Thanks.

Wrong, it does not because I tried it. Won't detect my sim. My original question was, will the carrier unlocked T-mobile version work with Verizon. It's obvious you have the Global version. Complete waste of my time. Thank you!!!

Flashing instructions
Clean Flash:
1. Take a full backup of both your data and internal storage as it may be wiped.
2. Download the ROM from above link and flash the recovery zip (optional)
3. Download the recovery zip of your choosing and flash it if not already on latest twrp.
4. flash the rom zip and recovery zip again right after the rom zip before rebooting , it will reboot you to recovery automatically in other slot. (optional) cherish recovery included.
5. Flash any mods you may want
6. run factory reset from recovery, or wipe /data and /dalvik if you don't want internal wiped.
7. reboot to system and enjoy!
Installing an OTA (Dirty flash):
1. Download the ROM from above link
2. flash the rom zip and twrp zip (optional) and let it reboot into recovery.
3. wipe Dalvik cache only
4. flash any mods you had previously flashed.
5. reboot to system and enjoy!

Hi, you can follow the guide in the Q & A section linked above or in our telegram support group, but the basic idea is:
Unlock bootloader + critical
Flash Tvirus 2.0, which includes twrp 3.6 already (there is however a 3.7 update available, which supports decryption in A12/13, but 3.6 can flash fine)
Flash the rom
Wipe data
Reboot to system
If you need further support, we are more responsive in our support group

It is a beautifully crafted system. Some issues make it a deal breaker for me though.
1. Pop up about something is wrong contact manufactruer every time you boot up.
2. Android auto will not launch. Car detects phone and phone detects car but nothing will launch.
3. No face unlock

1. don't worry about this error, it does no harm in any way, we hid it before but sources have patched against our patch, we're trying to find a new way to hide it.
2. are you using Gapps or vanilla version? I will look into this
3. Face unlock is a feature that usually gets added on at some point, it's starting to get added in some A13 roms now, please be patient it will get added

I flashed vanilla first then flashed Gapps in one go. Rebooted to CherishOS afterward. Updated android auto app through google play store. I also had this issue with Pexiel Experience A12. It can be hard to test as a car stereo is needed. Thanks!

Thanks for looking into this. Nokia 8 somehow spams the crap out of the log. Got the log with logcat[NO ROOT] app on wireless debugging mode. The file is very long but I believe the useful bit is at 12-16 01:10:31.019. I roughly plugged it into the car stereo at 12-16 01:10:30. Guess it takes a while for system to detect it.
