Android 13 schedule: When did it launch?
Looking for the Android 13 schedule? Here's when the developer previews and betas launched and when the stable version landed.

Wow, I haven't even personally got to try twelve yet. It has been a long time since I wasn't on the "latest & greatest" coming from pixel(s), 8pro, and 9pro.
I hope 13 will be looking better than 12. 12 looks like a 6 year old make it. Looke a bad cartoon.
Exactly. And audio quality is much worse than on A11. Checked with my B&O HX headphones.

Hope this starategy does not affect the speed of main OTA releases for all devices in the future. I cannot imagine myself tolerating an expensive stock android-like device getting late updates.

I'm really disappointed on the lack of development for the n10 5g. Wish I'd checked it out before buying
One plus is only committing to one update on the Nord N10 5G. Android 12 beta is about be released and I'm still on Android 10. Not very impressed with my first One plus.

This a cheap phone as one plus phones go. If we had purchased a one plus 8 or nine we would not be disappointed. I've previously had the flagship phones, but bought this on because of the price, so this is what we get.
For under $300.00 it's a outstanding piece of hardware. There may be more development when the updates stop. Keep in mind the nonnords don't take SD cards. Beyond that, finding something you can unlock this easily.
Finally got my Nord N10 5G updated to Android 11 last night.
Please can someone tell me if the A70 will get android 12 update? S10 is officially getting android 12 and the A70 was released after the S10, also it was a quiet expensive device so I don't see why it won't get the update.
Samsung promised 3 OS updates for the S series, starting from S10. It also promised 4 years of security updates (only 2 OS) for every phone launched in 2019 and beyond.
No OEM loves long-term supports. It's bad for business. So there's no official One UI 4.x for the A70.
But that's why we're here. Of course there'll be some unofficial ports. And it'll be exciting.

S10 series was released in early 2019 even before A70 was released and will still get android 12 so why not the A70? They said they will give A series 3 major OS updates like S series and then they just decide not to do that! This is unacceptable.
EDITED
Maybe that is to force you to buy new phones, I am not sure.

The official word from Samsung was to give their flagship Galaxy S-series five years of support, like Apple, that is 3 major OS updates, and two years of support.
The official word for phones released in 2019 and beyond is to give them 4 years of support, 2 major OS updates, and 2 years of security updates.
Understand this. The 3 major updates are only for the S-series (possible the Note, too) as of Samsung's official essay. That means neither the A-series nor the M-series are included.
That doesn't mean there's no chance we might not get Android 12, officially. But, even if that happened, it'll not be soon. That's how business works. Push people to buy the next phone.
In my country, I can trade my phone with an S10 for less than 50$. Maybe you should buy an S10 if you really want 12.
There was 3 major updates, mine has come with android 9, then 10 and now 11...

These LG phones are still getting Android 12 this quarter
LG may have exited the smartphone industry, but it's continuing to deliver updates. These phones will receive Android 12 in Q2.

LG’s Android 12 rollout finally begins with the mid-range Velvet
It may take at least a few weeks for the update to become available globally.

Even though it is the biggest pile of crap phone I've ever owned - still good news.

It wouldn't be a bad phone if there was an iota of development for it. The V30 was God. This phone....ugh
Funny u should mention the c39....I'm bidding on pone now..lol
I LOVED the v30
It's may 23rd, and no A12 while prev/next weeks)))
what is A12?
trust me.....im on beta android 12 now
A12 - is Android 12.
But nothing special. My wife is beta tester too, and I already know what's inside LG A12 to make new stock-based rom at A12 for v50.
As for you words, you tell that it takes few weeks, but it's month gone, when my data is end of may.for stable release at V50.

How many Major OS update will receive this Phone? Is there a clear plan for Update ZTE phones?
Asked them this Question and got this:
Dear Valued RedMagic Customer,
Thank you for your patience,
Sorry, we have no definite information on this, please pay attention to the update on the official website.
Generally, lately, they tend to release security updates/fixes for a bit and 1 platform update (red magic 6 pro got update from 11 to 12) idk if 6 pro will get update to 13 or if 7 pro will get it but generally if i had to make predictions i predict 7 pro will get updated to 13 6 pro might get lucky and get 13 but might not and as far as 8 pro at the very least i imagine it will get 14 and we shall see afterwards
Red generally usually was about explosive specs/latest android and good price at the moment of release and not much after
Only thing that's a shame is lack of rom development on these phones but I'm guessing red just didn't release necessary stuff for that to happen
Hi, I would like to buy used Poco F3 but I wonder how long will it be supported by security patches. Is 2023 the last year of updates for this phone?
2 major Android updates and 3 years of security updates.
It was delivered with Android 11.
Actually Android 12 so calculate for urself.
Should be upcoming Miui 14/Android 13 be last major update while security update will have for another year I think. But you never know. I mean Poco F2 Pro released 2020 was not eligible for Miui 14 but Miui 14 is now going to be release. Only its Miui 14 with Android 12.
Yeah, just got MIUI14 / Android 13, last major update. Also security update are not always every month but sparse.
Dude. This device will unofficially last for so many years with its rich and vast community. Such a capable device is so worth it. Believe me.
I've bought it just for the sake of the hardware. The moment I received it. I instantly unblocked bootloader. A week later, I started my beautiful experience with AOSPs.
Definitely a device you can feel so good about, for having such an amazing performance.
For the MIUI 14 with Android 13 on my Xiaomi phone, the Android security update is 2022-12.
