Hey all,
I recently imported a Lenovo Softbank 503LV that is I thought to be unlocked. It lets me use T-Mobile and I can text and use data but, there is NO MMS settings present in the SIM settings menus. It ONLY has Internet APN. I cannot send or receive MMS messages.
Can anyone help me?
OS version: 1709
Build: 10.0.15254.603
Carrier: Softbank

Hi all, I have got 15 QTEKS 9090 on my desk
 (Unfortunately they are not for me.. ) :?
all with MMS enabled, and nothing done with the standard ROM from KPN.
All GPRS and MMS settings are installed when hard-resetting the device.
When trying to send MMS, it will keep the msg in the outbox.
GPRS connection is made, but nothing is send, you can see a little brown box with an arrow pointing out
But the msg is not send.
Wondering through the internet, I cannot find anyone who posted this problem/solution.
Looking at the KPN site i can see different settings
KPN site: Port 5080
QTEK settings: Port 9201
And on the gateway
KPN site: 10.10.100.20
QTEK: 10.10.100.10
Please let me know if someone has read this problem and if there was a sollution
Thanks you very much
There is a solution for this problem;
- http://www.pocketpc-club.nl/forum/showthread.php?t=48837 (Dutch forum)

- I fixed my MMS problem !
I remove the MMS Composer program 2.0.0.16 from the extended ROM and replaced it by the 2.0.0.13 version and MMS is working again.
Easy to do !
1. use the XDA-developers_unlocker
2. extract the MMS cab file from the previous version of the extended rom that you could find on the XDA FTP site (112121WWE)
3. edit the config.txt of your actual extended rom to use the 2.0.0.13 cab file
4. replace the 2.0.0.16 by the 2.0.0.13 version
5. do an HARD reset (you have to re-install your applications!)
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
I actually learn more than i bargend for!..
Now my PDA rulez! 8)
Didn't work for me
Which setting do i need for kpn
Looking at the KPN site i can see different settings

3 things you need to install
to save u the time of reading all the posts...
for getting sms and voice mail alerts working (if voicemail isnt set up u you get a wierd text!)
step 1
install sdk certificates
step 2
install sms providers
then to get data and mms working
step 3
install the orange connection settings
all 3 are cab files so copy on you phone then run them from there.
thanks go to all those others who found the solution - i've just learned from those other bright sparks

All of these are now fixed in this Orange UK by rabdo v1.5.cab
-Installs Internet and MMS settings for Orange UK
-changes UMTS prefix to 3G when on 3G networks
-fixes voicemail icon
-fixes user agent ID (for orangeworld)
-changes regional settings to UK
-Black Shadow compliant!!!
These never work for me, can never get rid of the VM notification.
What do you mean?

please elaborate.
These fixes do not get rid of the VM notification, it fixes the problem where the "@" appears.
Does anyone have a CAB file to install the MMS Settings for the T-Mobile Web'n'Walk contract tariff for the Artemis?
I have set up GPRS and internet access already, but cant seem to get MMS set up properly.
Can someone provide either step-by-step instructions or ideally a CAB file (for when the next B&B ROM comes out!)
Hi
I buyed a unlocked samsung I780 from UK, but i can't connect on the internet (VIVO 3G RJ - Brazil), when i try to connect, i receive a information "cannot connect for an unknown reason". I already tried to configure the connections to use the VIVO settings (zap.vivo.com.br, wap.vivo.com.br) but it seems to always use the settings provided by Operator Settings, which i can't add/remove the default operators (Starhub, M1 and Singtel).
Is there anyway to modify the operator settings to automatic set the VIVO connection settings or configure to not use the automatic settings provided?
Hi All,
I have recently fashed down from JP3 to JP2 to JM5. I am with BT Mobile and it keeps adding me onto Vodafone. When I click on Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names > Add. I can only type in settings manually.
I flashed with the following files:
PDA: I9000XWJM5
Phone: I9000XXJM3
CSC: I9000OXXJM1
I was able to choose from a list of providers on the stock ROM and also with JP3 & JP2 and select BT Mobile.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to get these settings automatically as opposed to trying to find all the relevant settings and input them manually?
Thanks in advance
What's BT Mobile?
BT Mobile is a mobile network from British Telecom which is carried over the Vodafone network. It uses it's own GPRS, WAP and MMS settings which are different to Vodafones.
