HI all, I have an A50 with a completely broken screen (black, no touch).
Phone is still alive and I'd like to recover some files/docs via PC.
Can you point me towards a guide here on XDA or any other resource that can help?
Thanks!

Hello there.
I was burning rubber at my local go-karting track last night and stupidly left my phone in my pocket. There was a little "inconsiderate" driving and now I've got a Galaxy Nexus with no display.
I know the rest of the phone is still working so I'm wondering what data I'll be able to salvage from the phone and how.
I'm planning to get it repaired by Samsung (for around £150!!) so I'm wondering if I should unroot and revert to stock or will they not mind? Again any tips on how this would be done would be great.

Could use the ADB backup (either with the tool linked above, or manually).
Then you can unroot/flash stock with Fastboot. Screen isn't required if all of your buttons and USB port still work.
Hi All,
I have a rooted (boot loader unlocked) HTC Wildfire S Marvel (A510E)
It has a strange problem. The lock screen freezes every time after locking and I have to try about 6 to 7 times to unlock it.
This is Common across all the ROMs that I have tried including stock and many Custom ROMs.
Also, two stripes of portion of the phone's screen i.e., upper side and left side doesn't work at all.. Not even touch.
For ex; I can't type alphabets 'q' and 'a' in qwerty keyboard. However, display is working. not touch.
The warranty of phone is expired and I really want to know if there is any way that I can fix either or both of these problem in home.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Kindly inform me if I posted this question in wrong area as I am totally new to this forum.
So my brother attempted to repair the screen on my note 2 and now the screen is completely dead the phone still rings when called and can be recognized by the pc. Basically all I want to do is get the pictures off my phone.
The issue is I can connect to samsung Kies but it requires me to unlock my phone to view the pictures. Is there any way around this? I would pay to get it fixed but i upgrade. Also if theres no work around how would I wipe it to sell?
Thanks in advanced!
Hello all, here is my story. I had a Verizon Galaxy Nexus with broken screen, recently I remove the screen totally and now I have it without screen. I tried to use a mhl cable to connect it to my monitor, but it did not boot since Android can't detect the touch screen and it won't boot.
After a long time of search I find a post from marpoz.blogspot.com/2013/05/boot-android-without-touchscreen.html , it says I can change a module parameter during the boot to make it work, but my situation is a little different since I didn't have my USB Debugging enabled, so I can't do that trick.
Dose anyone have any idea of how to do to make my Galaxy Nexus alive? Thanks.
Hey.
My digitizer is broken and i can't control anything.
Is there a way to get access to my files?
I tried OTG-Mouse/keyboard, but it seems, the kernel has no OTG-Support.
When i plugin the phone to the pc i need to confirm access via touchscreen...
ADB-Debugging is deactivated as well...
Is there a way to get my photos back??
Its on stock firmware...
Thanks.
Buy a new screen from aliexpress, is about 50$, is with display+touchscreen not just Glass
