Hello all, i have like 1 week with the Red Magic 6, a friend sold me this one for a very good price well the question is, all people have problems with the gesture navigation? im getting mad everytime im writing and pressing the space on the keyboard, or pressing options and the botton of the screen and it send me to the home screen, i cant disable this option or i cant find it anywhere? someone known how to solve this?

Well you open up the settings app , scroll down to navigation button and gestures , and then select navigation bar, that should disable the gestures and bring back the bottom navigation buttons bar. Hope that helps you.
Thanks, but i'm asking about if someone knowns a fix for the gesture navigation, actually im ussing the button navigation because the gesture one is broken, even with root, i tried the Fluid Navigation app and botton gesture didn't work sadly...

I have the standard HTC Rom on my TouchPro2.
- Is it possible to DEactivate the vibration feedback for the touchscreen while typing or using the menu??
- the Navigation bar in landscape mode always disapears after a few secs, then i have to push a button for appearing again. is it possible to set the time counter up so the navigation disapears for example after 10 secs and not 1 sec?
it would be great if someone could help me. this is very important for me

For the Vibration part, there should something in Setting's under "Touch Options"
Click that, and then uncheck the check mark, and you should be fine.

I'm looking and hoping for the same answer...I'm sure that since it disappears after a specific amount of time, there has to be a timeout setting for it in the registry, but I've been digging in there and haven't found it yet
then pls post it if you find out how.

Anybody knows if theres any app/widget that can quickly lock/off the screen just by one touch? I know you can always press the hard key on the right side but a quick tap on the screen would be beautiful. Theres quicklock for iphone hope theres one for SGS. Sorry if i missed anywhere. Thanks

That was superquick. Thanks. I saw it in the market but from the screenshot I thought it is doing something else. Although not locking immediately, but hey, its free and thanks again.
yeah.. it doesnt happen immediately.. its some android security restriction.. i was using that widget for sometime until it started acting up.. my screen used to turn off every 3 seconds even when i was using it normally.. but its working for some ppl just fine..

Screen off by konreu is really good but it is not free. I've tried lock enabler but it has an irritating habit of randomly setting my screen timeout to 3s.
Stuck in full screen mode -
The Status bar and bottom bar auto hide. until I swipe to bring them back. How do I disable? On viper rom.
Wrong place to post. There is a thread for ViperROM believe it or not.
I wasn't certain it was because of viper rom, as I can find no relevant setting in Venom tweaks to fix this. Is there a core Android setting for this? I've searched extensively and found nothing.

ok well... strange that my android started going full screen on viperrom suddenly and no one knows how to change it back. guess it's time to wipe and start over.

I know this is kind of an old thread, but I just had the same problem. I think I put it in fullscreen mode while it was in my pocket and couldn't figure out what was going on for about 2 hours. For anyone else that encounters the same situation, here's the solution:
Press and the power button. At the bottom of the "Phone options" window that pops up is the Fullscreen mode option.
Also found that when I take it out of fullscreen mode, I have to reboot it to get the Status Bar to stop auto-hiding.

buddy_lee - You're awesome. Thank you. I'd been dealing with this for a few weeks and it was driving me insane. I"ve looked through every setting on the phone, viper, and nova and couldn't figure it out. Can't believe how simple it actually was.

Hey guys, new to the group so i apologize if this has been covered before. Has anyone had issues with the nav bar? My screen keeps freezing up and i cant do anything until i hit the back button on my navigation bar/soft key. Once i hit the back button its like it unlocks my screen and i can go about my buisness. I never had this issue until i was messing around with setting on chrome://flags. I went back and restored all flags to default but it doesnt seem right. like my navigation bar stays highlighted now also. any help would be amazing. Device has unlocked bootloader but hasnt been rooted or rom'd
I was quite fond of the triangle/circle/hamburger soft buttons on previous devices, but figured the little horizontal line was progress and I'd get used to it.
But I'm not.
What is the trick to get the list of all open apps to show? If I try over and over to press, pause, pull I can get it to work after 5 to 10 tries.
I must be doing something wrong, what's the trick?
If you use gesture navigation, pull up from the bottom in the middle, and stop after a couple of cm.

The phone gets shipped with gesture navigation deactivated. You can switch it back to the 3 button navigation in settings. Then you'll have your app drawer button.
