[Q] Viperrom Stuck in full screen mode -Status bar and bottom hide until I swipe - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Stuck in full screen mode -
The Status bar and bottom bar auto hide. until I swipe to bring them back. How do I disable? On viper rom.

Wrong place to post. There is a thread for ViperROM believe it or not.

I wasn't certain it was because of viper rom, as I can find no relevant setting in Venom tweaks to fix this. Is there a core Android setting for this? I've searched extensively and found nothing.

I believe this is in the right forum now.
any ideas?

ok well... strange that my android started going full screen on viperrom suddenly and no one knows how to change it back. guess it's time to wipe and start over.

I know this is kind of an old thread, but I just had the same problem. I think I put it in fullscreen mode while it was in my pocket and couldn't figure out what was going on for about 2 hours. For anyone else that encounters the same situation, here's the solution:
Press and the power button. At the bottom of the "Phone options" window that pops up is the Fullscreen mode option.
Also found that when I take it out of fullscreen mode, I have to reboot it to get the Status Bar to stop auto-hiding.

Thanks
you're a life saver,
i dont know i missed that out, i rebooted the phone a dozen times and scoured the venom tweak settings for hours to no avail
thaks again

THANK YOU

TouchPro2 - Menu + Vibration Question

hi
I have the standard HTC Rom on my TouchPro2.
- Is it possible to DEactivate the vibration feedback for the touchscreen while typing or using the menu??
- the Navigation bar in landscape mode always disapears after a few secs, then i have to push a button for appearing again. is it possible to set the time counter up so the navigation disapears for example after 10 secs and not 1 sec?
it would be great if someone could help me. this is very important for me
thank you !
For the Vibration part, there should something in Setting's under "Touch Options"
Click that, and then uncheck the check mark, and you should be fine.
thanks, that helped!
so there just my second problem left about the navigation dissapearing.
noone an idea?

I'm looking and hoping for the same answer...I'm sure that since it disappears after a specific amount of time, there has to be a timeout setting for it in the registry, but I've been digging in there and haven't found it yet
then pls post it if you find out how.
unfortunately i didnt find it out yet

Side menu/panel

Hi! Maybe this has been asked before, but I couldn't find it when I searched the forum.
Yesterday I downloaded and installed an update for my Note II, now showing 4.1.1.
After this, a half round "button" appeard on my left side of the screen. Touching this, a menu/side panel appeared.
Today my phone rebooted, and this side panel was gone.
I don't think I have made any adjustements or changed any settings, but the phone was in my pocket when it restarted and I could have done something without knowing.
Can anyone tell me where in the settings I enable/disable this?

Multi-window buttons disappeared

Hello people,
I'm a long time lurker and first time poster
I got my GN2 a few days ago and absolutely love it. The only problem is that when I use the multi-window function, I don't see the "fullscreen" and "switch screen" buttons anymore. They were there when I got it, but they somehow disappeared.
I checked all the settings, but I can't seem to find a way to re#enable them.
I feel kinda noobish.
Anyone had the same problem?
Thanks in advance,
TG

I'm guessing you are tapping on that bar in the middle to make that button appear?

Hi folks, holding down the back button seems to make the multiwindow tab reappear. ..hope that works for you
The switch and full screen options appear whenever you resize the windows. Try moving the bar in the middle up or down and they would appear.

Thank you very much for the hint.
i found out after your hint that holding the back key will show/hide the multi-screen option. so you can see the small blue button on the left side of your screen.
Damn. .. gone are the days people used to read the manual

Time not updating in notification bar

I have Smart Launcher and the time is not updating there too. The Smart Launcher and Notification bar are unsychronized between themselves too(usually the notification bar being some minutes ahead). The only way to get notification bar clock to update is to either rotate from portrait to landscape or vice versa, disable and enable automatic date and time, or turn off the screen and turn on again. The time is simply not changing minutes.
Searching google, I found only one similar case, but he didnt say how he fixed it(I hate everyone who does that).
Also, doing a factory reset didn't fix it either.
Consider this

Press thanks if I helped!
That was what I meant by the person that didn't say how. I don't have any wifi notification at boot up.
