If I missed a call, the Miui Dialer does not show this. Neither as a notification, not in the notification bar and not on the AOD. I installed the Goggledialer on a trial basis and everything works normally. But the Google Dialer is technically underground, so I would like to use the Miui Dialer. But not usable with this bug! Maybe someone here has the same problem and maybe even a solution for me !?
Clean cache and data from contacts and dialer app...or try to update it....you can find updates to apkmirror site.

So Google Voice doesn't work reliably with the P6. If you try to make a call through Google Voice (official app) the dialer gives the error "Call Not Sent" and the phone instead makes the call through the SIM card's phone number. This must be due to some customizations Huawei have made with the dialer. Sometimes if you hang up quickly, the call will be completed through a Google Voice phone number, but this is rare.
It also might be related to the permissions manager, but disabling it still didn't resolve the problem. I tried different dialer apps, but that also didn't fix it. Any ideas? Making GV calls over data (Groove IP, etc) isn't an option for me.
I've emailed Huawei a couple of times without any response and contact Google Voice through their support page, and basically there is little hope that this will be fixed anytime soon. Unless CM or MIUI are ported.
i already asked this ques few days ago and noone replied... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2435521
I'm actually talking about the Google Voice app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.googlevoice&hl=en
Still crapy woman android with nose covered ..
In leu of the newly released Hangouts app with Google Voice integration and Hangouts Dialer release, I downloaded and tried out the new Hangouts Dialer just now. It's awesome! However, I'm noticing that if someone calls my standard number or my Google Voice number the stock LG dialer intercepts the call and makes me answer it through the stock interface.
So now I want to permanently disable the stock LG dialer apps safely. I used Titanium Backup to freeze the "Answer Me" app but the calls still come through the stock dialer. Anyone know what else is required to freeze/uninstall to get this to go away?
EDIT 1:
I partially figured it out. In order to freeze the stock dialer app from intercepting calls to your Google Voice number, freeze the following 3 apps...
Answer Me 2.0.0
Phone 4.8.24 (VOICEMAIL)
Phone/Messaging Storage 3.5.16 (SMS/MMS/APN)
This solves the issue for your Google Voice number or if you've forwarded your standard number to your Google Voice number. However, if you don't have your standard number forwarded to your Google Voice number, calls to your standard number will still come through the stock dialer for some reason...
EDIT 2:
I also noticed that if you click on a phone number in the phone's browser (Chrome in my case) or Google Maps, it still opens the phone number in the LG dialer app, even though the app is disabled. So to make a call in Hangouts you need to copy the number then paste it into the Google Dialer. This obviously isn't a great solution by any means. Hopefully we can figure out a way to make the Hangouts dialer act as the stock dialer across everything within the phone.

Yeah, it's obnoxious. It's got me missing the AOSP ROMs on my Nexus phones. With AOSP you can just set the Hangouts Dialr as the default phone app and call it a day.
My understanding is if you stop forwarding your number to your cell phone on the Google voice website, it will stop ringing your cell number and the only ring will be Hangouts. You may find you also need to remove the now largely uneeded google voice ap, it conflicts with hangouts... NOTE: if you do this, you will not receive GV calls if you do not have a good data connection. You also wan't dial out on GV if you don't have a data connection. Since they aren't going to your cell number anymore.
Had anyone figured out how to get the aosp dialer working to receive and make calls with instead of the LG stock dialer? Or at least set hangouts dialer as default dialer?
I do know it can be installed but it appears as though the LG dialer is used for incoming calls and dialing numbers from search results.
I believe for full replacement, it has to be baked into the ROM.
That sucks.

You can get the AOSP dialer for making calls, but receiving calls is not possible unless you use an AOSP ROM (one is already out, but it's still missing Bluetooth and Camera for it to be fully functional).
Here are the instructions to get the Google Dialer installed:

There was some progress on the bluetooth issue, the fix is in the DeviantXone thread on the last page, seems like it doesn't work for everyone but it works for me
So I used to have an LG G3 on Verizon and you could do anything during a call. You could browse the web, open your calendar, etc., all while in a call.
I just realized on this current LG G3 I have on T-Mobile, I can't do anything. The buttons at the bottom are grayed out and disabled, and the notification bar is even disabled. It won't let me leave the phone app until the call is finished.
Is this normal behavior? Is this a carrier limitation? Rom issue? Is there a workaround? I find this pretty absurd. I'm used to looking in my calendar while talking to people, and I can't do this anymore.
I'm running Android 6.0 rooted stock Rom.
Well, can anyone at least confirm that this is how their T-mobile LG G3 behaves, or is my phone misbehaving?
I'm going to post the only solution I found for this. Installing other dialer apps did nothing, as they launch the stock dialer when actually dialing. Installing Google's dialer app and making it default was the only option that worked. It seems to be coded into the stock dialer to disable the home buttons and notification bar. Here is a link to instructions and download for the Google dialer app. It's not available on the play store for this phone model, but it does work.

Are you sure the phone wasn't locked when you answered the call?
I delete stock dialer and install with Gapps Google Dialer and Dialer framework.
I have just test called 911 with the Google Dialer, and it worked. However, after calling it, the dialer app froze, and didn't show the usual in-call screen, but the call still was going. So, emergency calling does work, it just doesn't show the hangup, speaker, buttons, etc. Please help.
