After playing with the APN I did achieved 36 download on 5G but LTE is still faster
5G is designed to be much faster than LTE, with theoretical speeds of up to 10Gbps, compared to LTE's theoretical maximum of 1Gbps but sometimes adaptive network feature means if you are doing normal browsing that does not require high-speed internet, your iPhone will switch to 4G LTE instead of 5G and if you are doing stuff like streaming or downloading, then it will switch to 5G affects the overall speed.

In the settings for battery life I have very bad network strength:

I don't quite understand how the quality can change that fast, because I'm at work at the moment and my phone is lying on my desk beside me. Everytime I turn it on it has full network strength...
Anyone else got this problem?
Edit:
My phone tells me I didn't have a network signal vor over 70%, and that's definetely not true.
I'm having the same issue, I apparently didn't have a signal for 44% today which I know isn't true, I'd had data turned off for allot of the day, wonder if that had something to do with it

We all know Samsung GS6 is capable of aggregating two separate LTE bands, like Band 12 + Band 4. But has anyone ever seen that actually happening using T-Mobile variant?
By dialing *#0011# you get into the Engineering Mode, where you will be able to observe lots of connectivity. you're looking specifically:
CA:NONE = No carrier aggregation
CA:ADDED = secondary carrier added waiting to engage in downloading
CA:ACTIVATED = your download session is in progress and secondary carrier is fully engaged.

Please post your finding and market you're located in. Thanks!
I never had a problem before, but lately ive had to restart the phone alot, still running into problems with the speed specifically loading instagram pictures, even simple snapchats. I feel like my phone internet speed is almost limited, hoping this isn't placebo as I never noticed this happening before
I heard on Friday is that ALL the carriers PLAN to SEVERLY Throttle your speeds so you get SO FRUSTRATED you are forced to stop using it.
Here's my current speeds:

Your carrier is throttling you man.
Can someone advise if you can choose to only use 3G and 4G (and not 5G) reception only under Network Mode? Attached photo to try and be clearer

Hi all
Yesterday I was in a city which has 5G coverage (according to Telstra). My phone showed 5G on the home screen but when i went into the available networks screen 5G was nowhere to be seen.
Ran a Telstra speed test and got 29.7Mbps which looks slow (i ran the same test at the same time with my wifes iphone 7 (which has no 5G) and it thrashed my Redmi K30 5G with a download speed of 97.9Mbps.

Does anyone know why the phone would be showing 5G on the home screen but not in the networks screen?
Maybe your mobile network has missed to naming their network names maybe the towers using 4G/5G signals but the name of it has 4G tag name
