Hey all
I have a SM-t575 here which I can't remember the pin number to get into android, the problem is it won't let me into download mode but it will let me into this screen attached, however, there's no Factory Reset wipe!
So I feel like im in a loop here, any way out of this would be super appreciated!

Hi all,
Wonder if anyone could give me a hand. My messaging function went into white screen, cant type or send message out.
I did a reboot a while ago because the phone froze on the wm screen. It chucked my spl back to 1.37. Wonder if anyone could give me a hand to let me know how to deal with this problem?
Do i need to hardflash my spl first?
Thanks.

could you be a bit more specific? have you tried soft-resetting the device since it had this problem? if so you may need to hard-reset the device
not sure why, i tried hitting down vol + reset for a soft reset.
Went into the bootloader, but froze. Only said serial.
I am wondering do i need to hard flash the device first -.-"
Would be great if i get some help from someone.
Thanks!
Hi Guys,
I'm having some trouble with my phone, I'm calm at the moment - I hope someone can give me a little direction to solve the issue.
Today right after a call, I went to unlock my screen (pin code) the phone switched off...it started to boot (displayed the Google text / logo) after a short vibration, the screen goes black and the Google text appears again. This continues in a loop.
The phone is stock Android 4.02, GSM phone.
Any ideas on where to start? I have installed android SDK, (and java before that)
I have downloaded a stock image from Google code (yakju-icl53f-factory-89fccaac.tgz)
I also downloaded GNex TOOLKIT V5.5 and installed the USB drivers.
Can I use the toolkit to restore the phone?
Or would I need to do this via fastboot...
I'm not greatly technical, so a little guidance would be really appreciated.
I bought this phone from Hong Kong, and I'm in the UK! Other wise I'd be taking it back to a service centre.
Apologies guys, I've just done a factory reset via the recovery menu.
The phone seems to be booting now. lost everything though :-(
Any ideas why this happened? has it happened to anyone before?
I love the phone...but so confident with it now.

This is sometime's caused, by the Android OS, itself.
Basicly, it probably told itself, to hang up, then took the wrong script (It is normaly RadioOptions...) And this caused it to crash...
And, instead of doing a factory reset, you could have just reinstall the system, via fastboot (This is an option, in my Root Helper )
But, just be glad, you fixed it If you're lucky, you can download a copy, of your phone, from the Google servers (It should normaly do this, automaticly, after entering Google info, in the Setup Wizard...)
can anyone help me where can i find the hard reset after i enter fastboot? i cant find the hard reset botton after i entered the fast boot...i dont want to do a factory reset under setting back up...i just want to do a hard reset because i will sell this soon and buy the 551..tnx

Pato, I've been watching this thread for a while now and I still don't understand what you're asking for exactly. What exactly do you mean by "hard reset" and in which way would it reset your Zenfone 2?:what: If you can show what you mean either by a video, pictures or written reference then please do.
The only kind of reset I know that would clean the entire phone (except* root) to factory defaults is the factory reset option. That will make the phone as it was before you set it up, while still retaining the latest updates (I think). I really can't test it myself since I don't have my Zenfone in my possession yet, so you could just wipe the data and cache and that should do it.
*Edit: Correction on what I said about root, thanks again sorg for correcting that, I was sleepy then lol.

I watched the videos pato, and it's exactly what I said before that "hard reset" in this case is indeed the 'factory reset' option, I didn't see anything else. So like you saw in the video, do the factory reset and that'll be the end of it.
1) "Factory reset" and "hard reset" is exactly the same meaning. ("Hard reset" term came from Windows Mobile.)
2) factory reset does NOT erase root. SuperSU is in system partition and thus not affected by factory reset. You have to re-install stock firmware in order to get rid of SuperSU.
ok now i understand thanks guys......
Hello everyone. I have an lg g3. It's the International d 855 model. I have a pin code set up on it but i forgot the code and I'm guessing because it is an international model, itit not giving me the option to hit forget my password and reset it through my Google account like most androids have. I tried to use the hardware keys to do a hard factory reset as I saw online but it didn't work. Instead of allowing me to go into recovery mode or giving me the factory reset option, the phone simply went into safe mode. I tried to do different combinations of pin codes but I gave up after trying at least 200 different ones. Is there another way to bypass the pin lock screen and do a factory reset? Any help would be great. Thanks.

I'm always cautious of people who join Xda just to ask to unlock their phones because of a "forgotten pin" but hey it's common knowledge so what you need to do is go into download mode mode and flash a new stock firmware look here >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089 <<.
Whats the use of a pinlock code if it's so easy to bypass it,flash stock rom if you nicked an LG G3 and ready to go ?(nicked as example ofcourse)
Lol touche it is so easy to bypass bit thats cool cause u can nick mine and as soon as i know its gone ill remotely wipe it myself and turn on the gps plus lg built the kill switch on these phones
I have a problem with my zuk. The phone doesn't sense anything on top half. Ican't unlock it, I can't even press the ok button after I write my pin code. Only ''solution" I'm thinking about is hard reset but I'm not even sure that'll work. And I really don't want to reset it so PLEASE HELP
Did you restored TWRP backup?
