Question Force Op9Pro on 2.4ghz? - OnePlus 9 Pro

Is it possible to force the op9 pro to use a 2.4ghz wifi network?

Yes, use kernal manager and tweak the CPU Min and Max Freq range to 2.4Ghz! You have to rooted and installed Kernel manager for this

Can you please elaborate on how to add the module to magisk manager? After installing the magisk manager, there are no modules in the app. Am I missing something very obvious

My 6 generation router have dual bands networks : 2,4 & 5.
But i can easy choose & use the 2,4 band if i want.
I only use 5 band for my 9 pro thoo.

Easy. Just set the 5GHz network to "do not autoconnect". Now it will connect only to the 2.4GHz network automatically, and to the 5GHz network only when you ask it to.

Can't get over 1,7ghz

Hello,
I have upgraded my OOS (the stock one) from 3.2.6 to 3.2.8. when I had 3.2.6 I had rooted and I installed ElementalX kernel. Then I underclocked CPU to 1,7ghz with kernel adiutor (big) and 1,2ghz (little). The problem is that after I installed new version and successfully rooted and installed ElementalX I am not able to go more than 1,7 and 1,2ghz. I also tried more apps but they say me that this is maximum. Thank you very, much for answers and sorry for my English. Happy New year!

Stop it with your spam... Anyways I am not sure how that's possible, try deleting all the kernel apps, reinstalling the kernel and in the aroma, check the max frequency as 2265mhz and 1728mhz (so overclocked) and that should fix your issue

Best Magisk Modules for Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite

Hi, I created this my first thread to know which Magisk modules you use with your Xiaomi mi a2 lite and then later maybe create a list of the best ones.
Mine are:
-HAL3 enabler - Camera2 Api support
-Youtube Vanced - Magisk Repo
-Viper4Android FX
-NotchKiller
- GPU Turbo Boost
Rboard themes, are gboard themes, very cool, i highly recommended.

Other modules ??
I don't use gpu turbo since it didn't change the performance at all, I tried with the 3dmark test and the result was the exact same. I personally like System Accent Theme and Magisk Manager for Recovery Mode (just in case you install a module that makes your device bootloop).

You dont need a custom recovery for all the modules but for the last one I talk about it is esential since you use the terminal in the recovery mode to access this tool

Ok thanks, do you know anything about magisk beta v19??, can it be installed as an update through magisk or do you need to completley remove magisk??, the new version no longer uses an image, its all mounted in data.

I just heard of it today, it doesnt seem like you can install it from the magisk manager app (at least with the stable channel selected) as it doesnt show that there is an update but ill try to search for some more info in the future since in my opinion it may be early to install the update and magisk 18.1 works perfectly for me

I think you need to change channels unless you have to go to the main site, i cant find anything on installing over traditional magisk.
I haven't rooted yet so haven't had a chance to check this but does anyone know if the ambient display gestures module work for a2 lite?

only one that works is AODEnabler, the version that installs it to product overlay, no gestures though, but it links into the phone always on display and all the animation is there between notifications, live wallpaper also works while showing the always on display.
I'm using the following modules:
- Advanced Charging Controller (acc)
- Busybox for Android NDK
- Daily Job Scheduler (djs) *it comes w/ acc*
- Universal GMS Doze
- ViPER4Android FX
- Youtube Vanced
Other note-worthy modules that I've used before:
- Energized Protection
- CloudflareDNS4Magisk
- CloudflareDNS4Magisk IPv6

I didn't encounter that kind of issue.
My Magisk modules
- Busybox
- Systemless TZData
- F-Droid extension
- Debloater (v17 doesn't work with magisk 18)
- Riru/EdXposed
- mm
I use debloater so that services like Google Maps can be made non-system (possible to restrict) and to hide the launcher (Oreo recents).
I have EdXposed for no Google play games (stop annoying nag every time I start a game).
Mm let's me recover from magisk modules that boot loop. Boot into twrp and modules can be disabled.
I think Pix3lify (gives you them beautiful rounded corners and Pixel Blue accent colors) and QuickSwitch (lets you change your default launcher without breaking the recents, install Lawnchair v2 or OnePlus Launcher port by paphonb after that) are the must install modules on this device.

Slow 5ghz WiFi on Note 8T (willow)

For a long time now on MIUI and now on a custom ROM (ArrowOS 12.1) WiFi is basically unusable on my friends 8T when connected to 5ghz WiFi. Range and speed is ridiculously low compared to 2.4ghz and any dual band WiFi always puts the device on 2.4ghz. Personally I have a Note 7 and do not have this issue.
Is this a known problem with the 8T? Any fix that anyone is aware of? The phone is on the latest firmware. Any custom kernel that could fix this?

make sure you don't have any magisk module installed
test when bluetouth is OFF,
if problem persist flash RRos A10 with stable A10 FW
if problem persist then it may be the wireless adapter or your router

No Magisk.
Tried with Bluetooth off, no difference.
Same issue with any 5ghz WiFi, tried in multiple places. My friend has 2.4ghz and 5ghz broadcast on the same SSID, only connects to 2.4ghz even when in the same room as the router. At my house I have 2.4ghz and 5ghz on seperate SSIDs, the phone won't even see the 5ghz SSID...
Anyone else experienced this issue? Tried literally everything I can think of. Is it a hardware fault?
