BP app missing - Samsung Galaxy Watch

I just got an unlocked Watch3 from America. I live in Iceland and use a Icelandic S20 Ultra. The ECG works but the Health Monitor app say Unrecognized Device under the BP app and that it must be a Active 2 or higher, which the watch 3 is the phone and the widget is missing on the watch. My European all have the BP app working fine for the EU watches.
Can someone please help me get this app to work?

Is a Galaxy watch compatible with Huawei mate 9 or does it not matter

Hi Everyone.
Keen to get a cellular version of the galaxy watch (keener for a cellular version of the watch active but apparently its not coming our with a cellular version) but I have a huawei mate 9,
Can anyone tell me...
Will it work with a mate 9?
If not what functions are not active?
Does it matter if the watch is a cellular version? does it being cellular mean it can connect directly to apps and access required information.
Apologies if this has been asked before, I have gone looking but cant find any reference ..
Thanks Tony
I have a Samsung phone so I'm not certain that this is 100% the truth, just what I have read from people in here or over the galaxy watch subreddit.
It should not matter what android phone is most things will work fine just like with a Samsung phone, I've only seen people talking about some compatibility issues with iPhone.
Now about the esim..
What I've read about it is that it works as if you have the phone with Bluetooth with you, you will get all the notifications but you don't have apps on the watch.
All of the notifications will be just mirrored from the phone notifications and the apps you can get on the watch right now are really limited.
Well you have Spotify and Samsung mail but for the others you can only do the same as on the phone notifications, read most of them, answer some things but it's going to be limited, on messaging apps you can see the last 10 but once you close the notification you have to wait until you get another etc.
If you often go out to do things like some kind of sport that doesn't allow you to bring the phone or you think you could use it while doing other things, it can be worth it but it's not going to work fully as a secondary smartphone, just as a app notification center + phone.
I'm using a cellular Galaxy Watch with a Huawei P20 Pro and it works perfectly.
Cheers,
Tom.
In all honesty, since they now allow you to download/install the Galaxy Weable app on pretty much any device now, you can use it with whatever device the app will work with.
I mean, there are always limitations and whatnot, but rule of thumb, yeah, it's not locked to Samsung phones only. Hell, they even let i(cough)Phone users use it! (unlike that fruity company with their watches).
Thanks!

You may have to activate LTE on a samsung phone. S7 or newer.
I'm on a p30 pro. Panicked when I tried to activate LTE through the wearable app and it wouldn't work. Borrowed an S10, put in sim card and activated. All good now.
Works a treat with my OnePlus 8 Pro! Cheers
I'm using Galaxy Watch Active 1 and Honor 9 lite, all function on watch work well ( pairing, get whatsapp, email, SMS notification, purchasing app). And I can access galaxy store without phone (using Wifi network).

I have Galaxy Watch R800 (BT, WiFi only) and Huawei P20 PRO and I cannot make a Galaxy Store on the watch to work. Any idea?
Everyone I try to run Galaxy Store on my GW i get error. I can run galaxy store on my phone and it works. I have the same problem with Bixby. Any other app works great.
I get this error even on WiFi connection.
My advice for those who want to perfectly match the smartphone with the watch: If you own a huawei smartphone then buy a huawei watch and if you own a samsung smartphone then buy a samsung watch! Otherwise, after few updates of one or another nobody guarrantee if pair samsung/huawei/xiaomi or whatever will still work without bugs...

No Samsung Pay on Galaxy Active watch

Recent purchased a samsung active which dosent have samsung pay installed. Looking into it, the watch should have Samsung Pay pre-installed. I have made sure that the watch is fully up-to-date (Tizen Version 4.0.0.3, Software Version R500XXu1BSD3). When I recived the watched I also noticed that the language was not enlgish (also not sure what it was).
Does anyone know how to solve this issue? The model of the watch is SM-R500 and the phone I have linked is a Samsung S10+
Is there a way to flash a diffrent software onto the active to get samsung pay working?
I had the same issue. You have to sdb command your watch from a computer while on the same wifi. You will be able to change the watches region (I changed to USA). Pay will then be preloaded on your watch. This resets the watch
This works with GWA too:
https://www.google.com/amp/s/forum....-how-to-change-gear-s3-r760-csc-t3784226/amp/
And if you already have sdb installed (for example with GalaxyWatchDesigner) you can skip to point 5

get a VPN and connect to a Taiwanese, or other server available to you in that region. try to then attach your watch. I had this issue when i ran an Honor watch.. once connected tho you do not need to be connected to a VPN server to continue use.
EDIT: you may need to change your local region on your samsung account temporarily
Just flashed chc csc with tgy...everything works like a charm! Play store and services allowed too [emoji56][emoji847] ...just finishing my beckup and shealth data [emoji3590]

Help needed for missing bp app on GW3

Watch 3/3 Pro + Huawei Pay + Curve?

So I live in UE and I think only Curve supports HPay here. Even if not in my country with my bank it's the obly way now.
As far as I know HPay works here, but not on watches. However is there a way to spoof country/region/somhing and make HPay work for as long as I add the card? Than it'll be fine as even Huawei states that:
After adding a bank card to Huawei Pay, you may use it to make payments in other countries and regions if permitted by the bank card. Please consult your bank for more information.
And Curve is international.
I'm waiting for confirmation from anyone if you can pay with Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro and Curve Pay. I would like to buy that Watch but just if I can use to pay using it.

As far as I know GT models doesn't have Huawei Pay. Only nonGT allows for payments.
GT3 Pro has NFC module and in Huawei Health in watch setting there is Huawei Wallet but there is a notification that current wearable version doesn't support this service. We need to wait.

Android 12
Huawei Health app ver. 12.1.7.310
Region : Poland (EU)
Theoretically speaking it should work, because Curve is added to Huawei Wallet as the Payment method. From NFC settings on your phone you need to select Huawei Wallet and the Watch only allows you to select Huawei Wallet. Well, another option for payment could be Stocard Pay, however, Stocard will be shutting down Stocard Pay on November 30, 2022. Anyway Stocard Pay only worked in some countries: United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy and France.
Actually, I have a Huawei Watch 3 myself and I thought to order the Curve card and tested it. But I haven't done yet, basically because I normally use Google Pay or Revolut, and I don't want to have more apps/cards.

I have a Curve card, so as at the end of November I will test the Stocard workaround. I keep you posted.

So you have iPhone 12, Huawei Watch GT3 Pro and Curve Pay . Can you pay from your Watch right now using one system or another?
Stocard Pay will stop working at the end of this month, at least I was told that, however Stocard will continue working as usual.

Yes, I have iPhone 12, Huawei Watch GT3 Pro and different cards (Monzo, Curve amd Revolut). The problem to pay with the watch is from Huawei, because the Wallet icon is not available in the app Huawei Health using it in iOS.
As I have also a Android phone, I paired the watch with the Android phone and now in the app Huawei Health I have an icon called Wallet but when I’ve tried to access, I receive a message “current wearable version doesn’t support this service “.

that's odd, Huawei Watch GT3 Pro has NFC, and I remember to have this message before and I was able to fix it.
Open the Wallet from the watch and also from the Health app, check updates from the watch, perhaps there is one for the wallet and it will recognise the Wallet app in the Android phone.
I just requested the Curve Card, so soon I will be able to test if Curve payment works on Huawei Watches.

If I use the watch with the iPhone, I don't have the icon Wallet on the phone.
As you can see in the link:
https://consumer.huawei.com/en/suppo...en-us15888447
the Wallet is not available for iOS.

Yes, I'm aware of that, however, you can disconnect (no unpair) the Watch from the Health App in iPhone and connect to Health App in Android. Not reset is required and it's quite fast. This is possible as far as you have the same Huawei account in both mobiles.

I did that but I unpaired the watch from the Health App on the iPhone. I'll try to do it as you say. Many thanks.
It was not easy to setup Curve as they payment method in Huawei Wallet, I tried different options until I found one - the way to fix it is BEFORE you install the app make sure you have some kind of default payment method like google pay or huawei wallet ticked. if Huawei Wallet is no default nfc method before installing the app it wont work.
So when I tried to pay this morning from the Watch or the phone and having Huawei Wallet as the default NFC setting, I had the following message: NFC card not working.
But I was expecting this from the watch, because yesterday after doing all setup and having my Curve Card on Huawei Wallet app, I realised that when I opened H Wallet on Health App, this integrated app only allows to add Loyalty Cards.
I don't know if that happens because I'm located in Ireland or what.
I have tried the following NFC settings, and none of them has worked from the Watch:
Fantastic, while writing this post and I was chatting with Huawei support and get the following message:
"I understand, thank you for letting us know about these issues as I will definitely pass them to the concerned department for further possible improvements. In regards to your inquiry, even if the watch supports the NFC function, the method of paying with the NFC is not yet available in the UK for the watches"
Few minutes after, told me that NFC using Curve should work:
No much said after that, he didn't come back to me.
Keep in mind that for this type of suggestions, they need to have more than one inquiry, meaning from more customers in order to take action of it.
You can perform this action by accessing this link and completing this form directly: https://www.aspiegel.com/en/support/supportContactUs

Update from Aspiegel
Hello I have the same problem but I can't seem to find Curve in the AppGalery. Probably because of the region.
