Posh Orion Max X550a root.

I noticed a few closed threads about rooting this device. I found a solution after hours of trial and error. I used the desktop version of Kingo root and succeeded! I hope this helps those of you still searching for root. If anyone knows how to increase the volume output on this device please let me know.

This did work but you may want to turn off system updates because three weeks after i rooted mine it did an update and in turn locked it down again.

Update Klingo root updated their software and it does root this device again.

I had this same issue. I looked everywhere for the firmware and nobody had it. Then I used the PIT file and I got it to boot, but it would start optimizing apps and shutdown. So my only hope was to take it to AT&T warranty center and I said I was trying to upgrade and something was wrong with it, and they just flash the rom. I was in and out in like 20 minutes. Therefore, looks like your only hope is to take it to AT&T.

i was able to go t the site and locate the files no issue. im at work atm so i cant DL them. Ill try to remember to do it later. doing it from my phone looks like you need to register and buy. i have no issue buying the file but not from a site i dont know.

Lamentablemente no ya que aun no se ha podido tener acceso root permanente y sin eso no se puede instalar un custom recovery y no se puede instalar ningún tipo de rom

Using Phone Model ZD553KL (Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie Dual Camera (Black, 64 GB) (4 GB RAM)) can I use it?

ZD552KL is SD625 and ZD553KL is SD430, I don't think you can boot into TWRP. So far there's no unlock program for this model, you'll have to wait and I may build one for you testing

Please do something for us zf4 selfie user.

HELLO, I have zenfone 4 selfie pro with twrp installed, and i have unlocked the bootloader.
It works , perfectelly.
But , now i can't receive the last updates by OTA, neither apply updates manually.
I need stock recovery, and software to flash stock rom .
Can somebody help me, please?
How can i flash the stock rom, and the original recovery?

Tenho este smartphone(ASUS ZENFONE 4 SELFIE PRO), mas alterei-o recentemente.
Desbloqueei o bootloader, instalei a TWRP, FUNCIONA PERFEITAMENTE.
Mas como toda a bela tem um senão, deixei de ter direito às actualizações OS via OTA e não existem Rom's para este modelo fora da Asus, nem na needrom nem na Lineage.
Quero repor tudo de origem, mas não tenho a recovery original.
Alguém tem a boot.img/recovery.img para este smartphone?
Ou o software para flashear a stock rom?

thankyou sir but i have 2 problems facing.. 1 is that i think my recovery partition is 32mb while the twrp u gave is 34mb.. And second sir i dont know but the tool for unlocking bootloader seems broken.. I tried to unlock bootloader but it just reboots when i press the unlock button in the app and the bootloader was never opened.. Any solution? Thanks

report to ASUS and until the bootloader unlock program is fixed I won't update the build

seriouslyn for zb553kl zenfone 4 selfie lite? How i tried to unlock mine... It rebooted and it didnt factory reset... How did u do about yours?

Installing oreo, nop, but I don't know if is a bug, when someone calls me the cellphone doesn't vibrate, just works on calls from WhatsApp or whatever app that have the option to make calls, but not in calls with sim somebody knows how could I fix it?

Already verified if the option is enabled in Settings > sound? It comes disabled by default and I just tried it and if it works.

yep, i have claro/comcel and it works., with tigo it wouldn't have to interfere

After 4 days with Oreo the phone goes great. And I quite like the portrait mode of the front camera, and the options to control the focus in the main camera and also be able to control the brightness of the picture.

estou usando a 2 semanas ,, ta perfeito da um erro de user quando inicia , mas a tela de erro some e funciona normal --- pena que o 7.0 até o 8 tem proteção do google para root
temos que boicotar a google --- o principal motivo para não deixar fazer root são os ads propagandas que ele enfiam guela a baixo de todos nos -- fatura bilhões com esses ads

There is no problem when turning on the phone? Does not any error come out? I also have an M250F with CLARO as operator, does not exist any risk and everything works well from the beginning? Let's see if you please give us a favorable answer for those of us who want Oreo but without risk with the phone ...

1) download the los 18.1, then delete the updater-script then put l posted in the zip
2) flash the rom , then flash the boot-zerofltespr-11.img to boot.img
3) flash the G920X_Optimized.zip after this reboot system and enjoy
