Anyone know of an alternative to Minimalistic Text Widgets?
Love it but the dev is no longer supporting it so eventually I will need a replacement.

Hey All!
Can anyone tell me, if i installed Cyanogen Mod 10, would i be able to install Sense Apps over the top?
Thanks
no it won't work
Ok, thought as much, in that case, can anyone make suggestions for replacements?
The ones that i'm going to miss are things like:
World Clock
Calender
Contacts with Facebook/Twitter Integration
Any help would be really appreciated!
Thanks!

for calender and contacts you can use Android Pro Widgets:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rdr.widgets.core&feature=search_result
For World Clock, u can use any of these 3:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tm.app.worldClock&feature=search_result
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.satok.gweather&feature=search_result
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pixatel.apps.Clock&feature=search_result

It doesn't matter if the Calender is installed, Apex or Nova won't recognize it as a usable option and I have not been able to find any calendars that you can theme to use in the same way....I am not sure what in the APK makes it not recognizable by the launcher. It's Gay

but yea...i really like how detailed the default calendar is on the sg3 when looking at month view. it helps me out a lot with bills and reminders. these other launchers...need to step their calendar game up.

Did you look at the google calendar widget?
Is there a way someone could make a blinkfeed widget so we can still have it on like nova or apex launcher?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you need the Sense launcher to run Sense widgets due to them needing HTC's framework.
Maybe the flipboard widget is an alternative?
Blink Feed is basically an amalgam of Flipboard and Pulse. Though I find Pulse's layout easier to digest, their widgets leave a lot to be desired. Amy suggestions on alternatives for third party launchers?

Nova Launcher
I am a bit stuck on this too. I really prefer the Apex Launcher but I am liking blinkfeed as well... I am hoping someone can find a way to make them play nice together...
MG
I don't understand why this can't be done.
all we need is a shortcut to the feed. in theory, even with nova Orr similar running, blink feed is still doing its thing in the background, we just can't get to it.
I'm sure some one like nova could do:
say you have 3 home screens set, instead of infinite scroll,
you could have the left most side of home screen one set as a shortcut.
I then you could set the short cut to blink feed (or anything else you might want to use)
it would be pretty much the same as we have but with a custom launcher.
does that make sense?
this is already possible with thde MoDaCo tool kit. check out 3:16 on this video

I use adw and make a custom shortcut for the HTC launcher. I delete all screens with only blink.

Best solution out there. I too love Blinkfeed, but prefer other launchers over the Sense launcher, mainly for things like custom grid sizes and being able to feed my addiction on mycolorscreen.com.
Incidentally, I use Nova and a custom shortcut - same thing.

Works great Thanx
Wish there was a widget instead of app
Whenever I receive new text messages I get a lockscreen widget with the notification in it. I use DashClock so I don't need it. To make matters worse, I cant re-arrange it so it's at least not the first widget I see. I hate that.
Anyone know how I can get rid of it?

Could use Widgetlocker to replace it.
Hi xda,
Is there any way to add the Easyhome contact widget to a different launcher? For reference, this is what I'm looking for, and it seems to be only available in Easyhome: http://i.imgur.com/nqDRldr.jpg
The contact widget in the regular launcher just isn't the same. Easyhome is a bit too simple for me, but this option is just so functional and aesthetically pleasing that I'm seriously hoping there's some way to apply it to the regular home. I haven't been able to find it as a downloadable widget either :/ Does anyone potentially have a solution for me? I appreciate any insight at all, and thank you tremendously.
Anthony.
