TCL TV 65C815 HDMI Arc problem - Philips, Sony, TCL Android TV

The problem is that with the HDMI cable (good quality UNITEK) connected from the HDMI Arc socket on the TCL 65C815 to the Harman Kardon AVR151, I try to play audio to the speakers from this receiver. And for a while everything works and you can hear the audio on the Harman speakers, but after several seconds or a minute or a few minutes (there is no rule) the HDMI Arc audio connection disconnects and you can hear them on the speakers in TCL TV.
This happens on various applications that run on TCL Netflix, Youtube, Spotify.
I checked HARMAN KARDON with the same cable on another TV and there is no problem there. The audio plays easily and does not run away.
I have version 395 on TCL

Same issue with a 55C71, and could not find a solution, so I change to a new 55C71 in warranty and problem solved.

[Q] HDMI video, Bluetooth audio? - Solved

Just got my HDMI connector and I want to play the video through it, but the audio through my Bluetooth speakers. It does not seem to allow me to do this. Even though I connect the Bluetooth speakers, all audio comes through the tinny speakers on my monitor. Even if I just play music it comes out of the HDMI monitor.
Has anyone managed to get Bluetooth audio working when connected with the HDMI adaptor?
Edit: Solved. It's not possible out of the box, but I bought an app SoundAbout Pro and now it works perfectly. Shame Samsung didn't build such basis functionality in this phone. My Sony Arc from two years ago could do this.

[Q] Can someone confirm surround sound 5.1 or 7.1 watching movies?

I would like to know if hdmi setting for our Note 2 gives real possibility to use 5.1 or 7.1 surround audio.
That's what I tried. I was connecting it to my LCD TV Sharp LC46x20e using mhl adapter and hdmi cable. Sound was sent from optical output on the TV to my Logitech z5500 speakers.
The audio was pretty good, but unfortunately it wasn't Dolby or DTS (only Prologic surround from the speakers).
So either TV doesn't send correct 5.1 signal to the speakers or my video players (stock Samsung, MX Player and Dice Player) can't send 5.1 signal or Note 2 simply doesn't send 5.1
It would be very helpful for me if someone would be able to confirm any of those statements as I'm thinking of buying something like this to route the sound directly to the speakers without passing it through the TV and in effect achieve true 5.1 surround sound.
Have you tried Setting-->My device--> Accessories-> HDMI-Audio output--> Stereo/Surround option?

Try disabling HDMI-CEC on your bluray player and your tv or if they are already disabled maybe try enabling them.. Different companies tend to call this different things...
AOC: E-link
Hitachi: HDMI-CEC
LG: SimpLink
Mitsubishi: NetCommand for HDMI
Onkyo: RIHD (Remote Interactive over HDMI)
Panasonic: HDAVI Control, EZ-Sync, or VIERA Link
Philips: EasyLink
Pioneer: Kuro Link
Runco International: RuncoLink
Samsung: Anynet+
Sharp: Aquos Link
Sony: BRAVIA Sync
Toshiba: CE-Link or Regza Link
Vizio: CEC
i have tried altering settings but still the same problems , now when i connect the hdmi lead to the atv , the sound on the tv channels , stutters every few seconds , even if the atv is unplugged at the mains , is the soundbar faulty , as ive tried different hdmi leads and the same thing happens if i connect an apple tv 2 , even if thats not plgged in at the mains ? thanks
Change the resolution setting on the FireTV from auto to a fixed setting e.g 1080p 60Hz.
The communication error will magically be fixed.
It seems Amazon's Auto resolution function doesn't play nicely with Sony's CEC implementation.

[Q] Output audio just to Optical Out (and not HDMI)?

I tried searching but didn't see any results.
I recently connected my Amazon Fire TV to the optical connection on my AV receiver. The HDMI cable is connected to my TV input. I am still getting audio coming through the HDMI connection in additional to the optical connection (i.e. I set it to Dolby Digital via optical out). Is there a way to disable the audio going through the HDMI connection?
I don't want to turn the speakers off on my tv because I still use the tv speakers for regular antenna watching at this point.
