Typically, with phone in fastboot mode already,
"fastboot boot fastboot" will get you to fastbootd (though not all phones have a fastbootd).

while booted into fastbootd my device isnt recognised, cant flash anything
everything works normally in normal fastboot
but some people say that you need to be in fastbootd to flash system partition inside a dynamic master partition.
im clueless

Due to my understanding, Yes, you will have to boot into fastboot ( not bootloader enviroment ) to execute commands which related to system partition!

Bricked GSM Galaxy Nexus(please help)

So im got this gnex borked an I am rtying to fix it. So far i have tried every known method(usb jig, toolkit, omap flasher, fastboot) basically everything in the book.
The phone itself will not boot up except by running omap flasher. When running omap flasher I can boot up into fastboot via plugging it in and holding all buttons. In fastboot the volume keys do not work. If I start off by trying to flash a bootloader it gets stuck at writing bootloader. If I try to flash a recovery it will say unknown partition. The jig does not force it into download mode.
Please advise me on what other steps to try.
Thanks in Advance.
just a little update I am able to boot into cwm by using fastboot boot command this allowed me to have a window into adb. I am not able to mount tanything in cwm including sdcard and /sytstem
I checked the partitions to see if they are O.K. and you can see the result in the attached pic
i tried the fastboot boot bl.img and it made it hang at the google screen with padlock
i think you should try ot flash a factory image , if you cant do this via adb , use some toolkit ,,,

If i do that It gets stuck at writing bootloader.
If you had a backup saved, it would have been easy.
Edit: Sounds like the sys permission might have been changed or something you installed could have altered the bootloader.

Try
Code:
fastboot format bootloader
before flashing?
It does look like your partitions are derped. There should be A LOT MORE partitions to show. Hopefully partition info is still there, so you might as well use fastboot to format everything else (recovery, userdata, system).

is only for booting kernels, so that obviously doesn't work.
Actually i use fastboot boot to boot clockworkmod... So it works for recoveries too.
And i agree that the partitions do not look right.
Would you fastboot flash bootloader?
Yeah. Get a bootloader from the factory image.
You can use fastboot commands right? Format every partition you can think of, except for bootloader. (system, userdata, recovery, boot)
Then flash a bootloader.
This may screw up further, but I can't think of anything else, so if all else fails, then go crazy and format bootloader? What modes can you get into and how?
I thank you guys a lot for helping me out. I will try your suggestions in an hour and report back here.

Sheesh...you got no partition info, so fastboot can make them.
Your NAND is pretty well fried I guess.
It might be time to get a replacement.
I don't know how it might be possible to repartition with having a partition info table. Mayyybe somehow you can get the partition info and have the whole internal storage mounted on your desktop, but that doesn't seem possible.

My ZenFone 2 also got stuck at wiping case for 10 min or more I thought I should interrupt the process but luckily I left for some more minutes and got unstuck, it takes a lot of time for this phone to wipe case.
try holding power plus volume up for 15 sec to do a hard shut down and open it again.
if it doesn't work try volume down.
It wasn't stuck. The wiping process is just extremely slow compared to your experience with TWRP or CWM. If yours is bricked Asus will likely replace it for you.

no. it was stack because i wasnt patient and i stop it... but i fixed it with ADB Fastboot and the command "fastboot erase cache"
then i did a factory reset also very slow at wiping data, formatting data but i take my lesson and i was patient this time!
It's really slow, I bricked mine by updating while rooted accidentally and go stuck in fastboot with no ROM or recovery for a while however I managed to fix it. Patience is key in most cases

If you can enter fastboot, I think you can also enter recovery.
- If you don't care about your data enter recovery and do a wipe data (it may take very very long so please wait). When it reboots, if it's not working flash the original image from Asus site (the same version you have installed) via ADB Sideload in recovery.
- If you have to save your data run tethered TWRP, do a full backup on your microsd, use the TWRP file manager to copy all your internal memory on microsd. For recover apps data, use Titanium backup for recover apps from nandroid backup after you wiped everyting.

I don't care about data, I'll try first method. But before I bricked my phone, I have firmware version 2.18. Now I update boot and recovery images to version 2.19 by fastboot: I have to downgrade them before wipe data or it's not important?

ADB doesn't recognize my device, fastboot does. I enabled USB debugging mode and ADB always worked before I updated Zenfone this morning, but now don't. Is it possible enable 'Update zip from SDCard' instead ADB? Maybe I can fix it in this way

Phone completely bricked

Hi everyone !
Yesterday, I wanted to wipe cache for some reasons, and I stupidly restarted the phone while formatting cache.
Result :
-A bootloop at the firt restart, then a "Error !"
-Can't acces Recovery mode, "Error !". I tried power button+volum up, don't work.
-ADB don't work anymore, I can't see the phone via adb devices
The only thing I can do is execute fastboot commands in Windows. I successfully made a tethered TWRP recovery, but I seriously don't know what to do from here. I tried flahsing a ROM, but it didn't worked (still have Error !).
I tried install permanent TWRP (unofficial), but I can't acces it. Probably because my bootloader is locked.
So... what should I do ?
Fastboot format cache should do the trick.

After formating cache you should've been able to get into recovery mode, if not, download recovery image from here then:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash fastboot droidboot.img
You can always sideload stock roms from there.

You need to follow the steps in this thread to install drivers and adb package first. Fast boot firmat cache is the command that you should type in on your PC.
Just a thought but instead of trying to install anything through adb why not instal a pre-rooted rom img through fastboot too. You can always wipe out root with the next OTA...
I have already wipe cache and now boots up properly but the problem is that touch screen doesn't seem to work...
Can't connect my Zenfone 2 to my pc even though I have installed drivers and adb...

[SOLVED] Bricked OP3 / Corrupted System Parts

Hello world,
I've bricked my device after I tried to install a beta of FOS and was not able to go into recovery and boot the system.
I used fastboot to wipe my device and boot into recovery (TWRP 3.0.2-19), flashed a modem from here (https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=385026487222273358) and installed OxygenOS (with stock recovery)
But after installing my phone hang on the boot screen and ended in a blackscreen (with white LED)
After that I used the "OnePlus3 Unbrick Tool Full" (MsmDownloadTool V3.0) to debrick it again. After the second try it worked and I was able to boot into OOS, but wifi doesn't work, android don't recognize my SIM-Carts, in the About Phone Section android says "Baseband version: Unknown" and my phone reboots every few minutes

I also want to know how this problem was solved
Allright,
I had a GDPR version of the firmware. I soft bricked my phone by accident. Then I flashed
Code:
RMX3363export_11_A.04_2021080317040000.ofp
and then it was an export version.
I found other ofp's but they didn't work (alltough for me..)
After i successfully flashed my phone i had update issues so i flashed
Code:
RMX3363export_11_A.09_2021122118530211.ofp
This works and a couple of hours later i even get the Realme UI 3.0 update. (this was my goal before i bricked my phone )
I used this tool:
Code:
OppoRealme-OFP-Flash
Beware, if you flashed your phone and it does not work, try changing your Slot in Fastboot.
If you don't have the correct slot (or the new software is flashed onanother slot, it will keep rebooting to fastboot)
I hope my explanation helps. I was desperate and spent three days fixing my phone. When i succeeded i tried to flash the same file from my laptop. This didn't work.I don't know why.
Good luck

Allright,
I had a GDPR version of the firmware.

How long does it take to flash after this? fastboot --set-active=a ؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟
I just flashed the ofp, after that i tried to reboot.
Then it didn't work and the device booted back into fastboot. After that I did
Code:
fastboot --set-active=other
and after that
Code:
fastboot reboot
and then it worked.
Maybe a vague tip: when you flashed it correctly and you are on the wrong slot it takes longer to boot into fastboot then when your device is bricked. Then you can change slots and (for me) that did the trick.
Good luck
How long does it take for this to end?
fastboot --set-active=other ؟؟
؟؟
a couple of seconds. When it takes forever try rebooting fastboot and try changing slots again or flash again (on another computer).
