I installed KODI on TV. I can't change the color settings while watching a movie. I can change the brightness setting, but the color setting e.g. saturation can't. Can you help me?

The kindle fire HD 8.9" is known to have some issues with display color accuracy, basically colors are a bit too yellow/green, and don't saturate red quite enough.
someone on a forum mentioned that the app "Screen Adjuster" can help to fix colors a bit, but I noticed this app slows down system in general (for example scrolling in web browser is no longer smooth, on my KFHD 8.9 running Hashcode's CM10.2).
does anyone know of any tweaking done for display/LCD driver for the kindle fire HD 8.9 to help with this issue?
Is there any way to tweak color balance without slowing down the system? might the LCD or GPU have some capabilities to tweak color without slowing down the system?
looks like it wouldn't be easy
Sorry to post here. Couldn't find a sharp section.
I can't find accessibility settings on my sharp Android tv. Is the settings an app that can be installed? Or is it hidden or anything?
Any ideas?
Thanks
I have a sharp android tv and have had to use adb to enable secure settings for certain apps (button mapper for instance)
Hi, is there any way through ABD to change the settings on the FireTV to disable HDR? You can set it to HDR always on and ADAPTIVE HDR, but no way to actually disable it within the standard settings/menu's.
On many TV's the FireTV enables HDR and it looks DIRE, all washed out etc. It's a big problem that no one can get a reply ion from Amazon.
Anyone?
thanks
Tess
I've used ABD before to change screensaver settings
I have a new Philips 58PUS8536/12, running the latest firmware (001.001.233.026).
What I see is that it's resolution does not change to 2160P no matter the content I play:
- Netflix 4K HDR
- Youtube 2160P HDR
- Kodi 4K HDR (hitting Z key during playback shows the current resolution at [email protected])
- PC set resolution at [email protected], image displayed but still panel remains at 1080p.
While the content is being played back I run adb shell wm size and it returns "Physical size: 1920x1080".
Nor can I find in the TV settings (or Android settings) an option to change the resolution.
I see some older Philips TVs running Android where you can easily select the resolution in the settings.
What is going on here? Why is it not switching to UHD?
Hi,
Please help - how to force screen ratio (zoom) in android tv using apps like disney+, netflix or other.
I trughly dislike blackbars on top and bottom of screen. I would like to force screen size (unavailable in normal tv settings) during using apps.
Is there any solution for this?
Thank in advance.
