After flashing MIUI Mix 2.0 my Redmi Note 8 won't turn on at all. Shows black screen for a second then swithes off. Shows fastboot screen for a second then swithes off. Someone help!!!

Okay, so i was just using my HTC one x, (i've only had it for a few days) and the phone screen went blank and the 3 buttons stayed lighted up, i couldn't do anything to the phone, so i held the power down button and it shut down and now the phone is completely idle. it doesn't start on or anything. i tried to charge it and the red light doesn't even come on, i've also tried the volume down & power button combo to access the boot loader but that doesn't seem to work either.
the phone is the 32GB model
on the 02 network
help anyone?

try to connect it to the wall charger and see if the red light comes up

When you connect it to the pc, and check in device manager......there is no sign of APX somewhere ?

i have just checked the device manager while the HOX is plugged into the pc, and nope there is no sign of APX,
That's a good start, the phone is stock and locked ....not an unlocked bootloader ?

Yup, the phone is stock and locked to the 02 network ( Carrier sorry if am being naive ) and nope the bootloader is not unlocked

Thank you for the reply, ive checked out this thread however i cant seem to find a solution..there doesnt seem a way to get out of APX mode
So u can't put in bootloader mode by holding the vol down and power button? Is your device awake or power off?

My device is powered off and i am unable to put it in to bootloader mode and i am also unable to turn it on

I don't know, i'm not an expert but put your device charging all night, the red light will not show, give it time and will see tomorrow.

Hi everyone,
Im having trouble with my galaxy note II (GT-n7100). The phone won't turn on. I've tried the vol up + home + power combination, not working. Plug in the cell phone to the charger, not working. Changing the battery with another from a functional phone but still no success. Should i just take it to the service center or is there anyone here who has faced this problem and was able to fix it without going to the service center?
The only symptom i've noticed is that the proximity sensor is flashing...

if proximity sensor is blinking is almost sure SDS, did you have insane chip?, can you enter download mode?

Hi siroki, thanks for the reply. I can't tell if the phone has the insane chip or not, never root it or flash any rom, so i didn't install the eMMC app to check it (silly me).
And no, i can not enter neither recovery nor download mode. Could a jig work? Or better take it to the service center and make valid the warranty?

If your imei(you can check it in your box) is below 3550 you have insane chip. anyway don't think that a jig ia going to work coz I've been reading about lots of errors like that and it never worked. You should better send it to samsung.

If u have a jig, then u should try it !!
I'm not sure if it will work or not, but I try it with another phone and it works!
belive me, the jig could save your long time waiting for the service center !!

I did try to revive the phone with the jig, but without success. Is now in the service center and they will tell me what happened this Friday. Looks like it was the SDS in the end.

I just got my phone for the service centre. The problem is if I leave my phone inactive for several seconds my screen freezes for 7-8 secs. I'm running stock os no root. I have factory reset my phone 4 times. This problem starts 3 to 4 mins after rebooting my phone. Pls help

Facing same problem once i changed display from lenovo service centre. Display stops working randomly
Do this steps it may fix the problem
Turn off knock to light feature in settings-features
Switch off the phone
Charge it to full 100% without disturb then start using it it works in my case

Ok. hope so it will get solved
It's stuck on a screen with a circle and a white question mark inside, flashing every half second or so.
I have tried holding the down volume key and the power button but it doesn't work. Returns to the question mark every time.
This happened after I restarted it yesterday because I noticed the battery percentage wasn't dropping and I thought it was a bug or something.
I have charged it all night but it's no good.
Turn off mobile use new LG up and just press and hold volume + button and connect USB in mobile small fast boot mode will show now u can flash stock kdz

It doesn't show up on LGUP. Seems like the phone is not registered as connected.

Hi I have this very issue, I've just swapped the screen and the battery out (the battery was ruined during the screen replacement)
Any ideas how to fix it? Could it just be a totally dead battery?
