So I disabled OneDrive when Package Disabler Pro was still useable.
Since Samsung is going to stop using their cloud service and migrate over to OneDrive, I thought I should enable it and use it.
Right now, I am using Alliance Shield to enable and disable packages. Unfortunately, each time I try to enable OneDrive it shows it is enabled but it isn't. I relaunch Alliance Shield and it shows it is disabled.
Any idea how can this be fixed?

So, recently I found that Webkey.CC is on the verge of shutting down. I have been researching other RDP solutions for FTV (rooted). Teamviewer Quicksupport (TVQS) looks promising. It shows the true screen share of the FTV and allows you to navigate FTV with keyboard decently.
The only issue is that the TVQS needs manual intervention on the FTV side to allow control & remote desktop. So unattended management of FTV is currently not possible with this app. I researched the issue and found a way to bypass manual authorization using Tasker (See http://teamviewerforums.com/index.php?topic=2081.0 )
The problem using this method is that the Accessibility settings are not available in FTV. Tasker needs those to read dialog boxes and respond to it. Going into Accessibility settings using the Settings app crashes the settings app, so that was a dead end. Any ideas or suggestions?
A few people have asked for a modded TVQS apk that does not ask for authorization, but I can't seem to find any apks out there....
I have an app that I would like to use on my FireTV, but I can't seem to get it to work.
It is meant for a tablet and when you open it on a tablet it gives you the option of logging in using your cable provider credentials (tested on Nexus7-2013). After putting it on the FireTV it acts much differently when you open it, not asking for the cable provider credentials. I tried editing some of the fields in build.prop and that didn't seem to have any effect. Anyone know how I could go about either spoofing the device info to the app OR removing the check? I don't know what the policy is on here about such things, so I am trying to remain vague. However, my Sunday will be fantastic if I can get this working.
you can try market helper, but it needs root.
Xinstaller has the option to change all of these settings.
You need to have root and xposed installed to use xinstaller.
Also, some of those apps are meant for wifi (though i had no problems there)
Guys First of all connect your wifi with your tv
1) Update your Android Tv
Settings>>About>>System Update
2) Enable Developer Option
Settings>>About>>Build
Click on Build Till You See Developer Enabled PopUp
Then Goto Settings>>Developer Options- Debugging
Enable USB Debugging
Enable Mitv Adb Debugging
3) Allow Installation from Unknown Sources
Settings>>Security & Restrictions>>Unknown Sources
Enable for all apps
{you must enable this for each app post you install apps one after the other}
4) Install Sidelod Apk
This app will facilitate all apps under 1 Roof
5) Install Set Orientation Apk
This is required if in any app portrait view is visible instead of landscape
You have to set Orientation to landscape
6) Now you are all ready to go and install
Amazon Prime, Jio tv, Jio Cinema, Shareit, Es File Explore,Smart Youtube are the apps you can enjoy.
7) You can cast your mobile screen on your android tv either usings wifi with/without internet
using your wifi with internet requires 1 mobile and android tv
using your wifi without internet requires 2 mobile and android tv- enable hotspot without internet in mobile, and connect other mobile and android tv to it
your cast your screen on mobile using wireless display | Settings>>More>>Wireless Display
Mirror Casting Issue /Screen Cast Troubleshooting in Mitv
Goto Setting>>Apps>>System Apps>>View Media Phone
Clear Data
Clear Default Data
* Google Home App can be used if Default Cast Option doesn't able to search & select your Android TV
8) Use your Mobile as a Remote and Enable Mouse Pointer for Convenience |
You have to install an app on your mobile as well as on android tv
For Mobile, you have to install: http://www.cetusplay.com/
APK for Android Phone
For Android Tv, you have to install: http://www.cetusplay.com/
APK for TV
Settings/Keyboards
Under Manage Keyboards, only Cetus Play should be enabled.
Default keyboard would be Gboard.
Trust me i have searched a lot on this, and this is the only app that worked
after system update, debugging enabled in developer Options, enabling installation from unknown sources
Tip: Its better to use Bluetooth Mouse rather than trying above complex procedure
Hi! Anyone knows how can I root my mitv 4s 43 (mssp3 ,machuca) ? Is the hardware of the russian version (mssp1) the same like mine? I need root my device to install ps3 gamepad.

I used to use Package Disabler Pro on the Play Store for debloating but it doesn't seem to work anymore. Are there any apps for debloating or can we only do it via ADB? I'd prefer a GUI so I can easily undo something that I shouldn't have disabled and causes issues. Thanks!
Just google for "Alliance shield X". It disables packages and has firewall with ad blocker. Free.
I use SD Maid Pro, its great. You can freeze or totally delete apps, and it allows you to control which apps automatically start up when your phone boots up.
......but only if you're rooted.
packagedisabler.com, not on Playstore. I've used it for years. Stable and is a useful tool.
Pair it with Karma Firewall.
All the Playstore disablers eventually have failed... lol, it's their nature.
I have original sprint s20 ultra, sim unlocked, currently running stock unlocked firmware. I am STILL unable to perform factory reset due to it being grayed out. To make matters worse, my screen is not working so I'm viewing everything thru TV HDMI, but cannot see download mode screen/recovery, I do some guessing to navigate thru those.
I've tried:
- putting in another sim
- reset via recovery
- setting up phone without logging in or internet after recovery reset or flashing via Odin - still factory reset grayed
- flashing unlocked firmware (U1)
I know that it isn't FRp locked because I am able to skip thru logins and internet setting at setup after flashing firmware.
I still have no clue why the factory reset is grayed out.
*SOLVED* the phone grays out reset due to the HDMI connection. I confirmed using another samsung phone that had a good screen.
An app set as Administrator may be blocking it in security.
Package Disabler for one will do that if set to.
Possibly a rootkit.

Thanks for the suggestion. Only "find my device" from google shows up under the list device admin apps. Is there a possibility that any others may not show in that list that is causing this?
I see an app called work profile - but I do not think that is a culprit since I have the same app on my other samsung and am able to reset that phone. I also disabled the work profile app as it didn't allow me to uninstall, but the factory reset was grayed.

I figured it out! My inspiration came from a youtube video about the reset being grayed out on a samsung tv due to an app being opened.
In my case the reset was grayed out because I was viewing my phone screen on my tv via hdmi; i purchased this phone with a totally busted screen. I tested this theory with my good s21 ultra. The reset was active when not connected to HDMI, but grayed out when it was connected.

If present it should be listed there.
Is there a work around for this? I'm having the same issue. The screen is completely black. But touch still works because I can feel the vibration feedback and when plugged in to a monitor, it registers my touch. However, since I can't see anything on the screen, I can not do a factory data reset on the phone itself. Being plugged in to a monitor disables the option....
I hate this phone. (ㆆ_ㆆ)
If anyone has a work around or suggestions it would be much appreciated.
I had the same dilemma. I found a workaround using TeamViewer quick support app on the broken phone. Was easily able to remote into that broken phone from another Android phone via the regular team viewer app from the other working phone.
More details: My broken phone was one that I wanted to reset: Screen didn't display anything, touch still working. Connected to phone via USB-C USB HDMI hub so I could see my screen on a TV. Reset settings grayed out because it is connected via HDMI to the TV.
I needed a work around because every time I unplugged the HDMI using for example AirDroid, my accessibility settings got disabled within a couple of seconds, and I was no longer able to remote control my phone that I was trying to reset.
Finally, I installed TeamViewer quick support app from the Google Play store onto the broken phone. Then I installed TeamViewer regular app (pretty sure it wasn't quick support, maybe it doesn't matter which you use) on a different fully functional Android phone. I'm sure I could have installed TeamViewer on a PC instead. Anyway, I punched in the identification code of the broken phone TeamViewer quick support and remotes into and controlled the broken phone. At that point I was able to disconnect the HDMI from the broken phone and still see it and control it from the working phone! With that control, I browsed to the factory reset function in Android settings on my broken phone. And it was not greyed out / disabled anymore. I selected it. And the phone factory reset! After a few minutes when I plugged that broken phone back into the HDMI, the hello welcome language selection screen displayed. Displayed. The phone had reset! Super smooth process. Thanks to TeamViewer quick support and the USB hub.
