Same problem TA-1085. Detected as HS-USB Diagnostics 9008. Looking for solution.

no one to help?

I've sent my TA-1085 to Nokia for them to fix ( sprox $60 w/tax). I will post results when receive response from Nokia service.

TA-1085 had same problem. After OST not working, sent to Nokia for repair(out of warranty). Nokia returned a replacement TA-1085 phone. Fee for the repair/replacement service was approx $60 incl tax. Replacement phone is in mint condition. Don't know what, if any, repairs had been made to replacement, but I am happy with the result. I was not told what was found as problem with the old phone. Entire process took about one week. The $60 fee included shipping both ways.

[Q] DEFY MB525 at Technical Support

Well, the question I want to make to the community is that if anyone can identify, and, if the answer is affirmative, tell me how to replace the components identified in the attached image.
All this is because I sent my DEFY to the Technical Support because it wasn't recognized by the PC, in any of the USB ports, on any computer I have at home (all with the drivers installed, a W7 and another WXP), while the RSD Lite recognized it (in XP), but flash a ROM took several attempts.
As this was so weird, I flashed the phone with Vodafone Spain .sbf and sent it to the Technical Support, but recently I was asked to pay € 91 to fix it, saying that the warranty is void because the phone had a hit, when the USB failure was not after any major hit.
The point is that now I don't know what to do when I get it back, because I will not pay that amount, it is noteworthy that apart from that the phone is working perfectly, no irregularities in its functioning.
Sorry for my poor english.
PS: In case anyone needs the information, I sent the phone to Motorola's official Technical Support, SMS in Madrid.
Edit: Thanks to nogoodusername for the advise

My nexus won't charge but recognize in PC

Hi
I have very strange issue in GNEX..I cant charge it via wall adapter or usb cable when connected to PC. but PC recognize as GNEX and I can transfer files within PC and phn..
Any idea to solve this ?
thanks
I had this problem once. I tried replacing the usb port/flex cable on the device and it still didn't fix it. I think something on the motherboard failed to cause it.
I eventually just did an insurance replacement since I couldn't figure out a way to fix it.
If you are positive it's not the cables or battery, you might be out of luck.
motherboard failure as what Samsung service center and other repair shops told me, the repair costs will be higher than a brand new Galaxy Nexus. Still waiting for the Nexus 5 to arrive in my country before putting this phone to rest.
My temporary solution

Try this "3M - 1625 - CLEANER" (Order Code:2135628) You can buy it in Farnell or any electronics shop I would post a link but I have to low posts. With some small brush and try to clean up the USB port.
Good luck.

I’ve held the power button to reset and try to load to boot loader... nothing...
Called Verizon... can’t help
Tried connecting the phone to my PC but cannot recognize the phone... it doesnt even detect something connected to the pc...
I’m lost guys. I need your help.
Lol that’s why its good to be rooted and s-off guys… I wouldn’t have had this problem if that was the case.
Is this considered a hard brick since I can't get into the bootloader?
Did you get to fix it?

How did it go?
I'm actually thinking of updating my phone to lollipop through HTC Sync and I'm afraid that it might cause error and get stuck on bootloop. :/

Realme x2 (rmx1993) hard brick, asking for help

hi, i'll try to be clear despite my english isn't so good. I unlocked/rooted and installed lineage without any issue, later i decided to rollback to stock, so i flashed thought twrp recovery the lastest original Ozip firmware, wipe format and...locked the bootloader. Well now started the struggle, my phone can't go in fastbot mode, bootloader mode or recovery, i can only go on EDL mode.
I read tons of guides, watched tutorial video about unbrick with QPST, EEMC DL TOOL, MsmDownloadTool and QFIL Tool, and despite i got my phone full recognized in widows on EDL mode, i can't flash anything becouse i need firehose programmer file ( mbn) and/or rawprogram file and patch0.xml
So i looked for em everywhere online with no luck, i read also any device with 730g snapdragon could work too. I tried also to decompress Ozip with 7zip but there is nothing uselfull inside.
Being days and no luck, i apprecciate any help and suggestions, thanks in advance

REALME BRICK FASTBOOT (HELP ME)!!!

PEOPLE I hope you guys see this quick, a few months ago I bought my REALME 6i (RMX2040) I unlocked the bootloader and tried to root it but oh! Surprise it had been bricked, he tried in every way possible to revive it with fastboot mode and some programs but I did not achieve anything, I took it to a local technical service where they told me that they tried to flash it but they cannot fix it and the only thing was to change it the plate which is very expensive (400,000 Colombian pesos). After thinking about my house, I tried everything, I blocked the bootloader again and the fastboot mode had frozen, I got out of it with the ADB commands but oh! Surprise when restarting and trying to enter again, no ****, it couldn't, below it seemed the message that it tried to enter but it restarted and this legend Current Image Has Been Destroyed appeared. Going back to after it was delivered to me from the technical service, in a hurry I contacted realme by mail and they told me that since it had already been uncovered by other people far from the company they did not recover it for me to repair. Help me to emphasize IT DOES NOT ENTER RECOVERY OR FASTBOOT. I think this is a case of hard brick but seriously I don't want to spend a lot of money to fix it since the other cell phone that I was using these days was damaged so this is my only and cheapest option.
The worst thing is that the PC does not recognize it with its ADB installed. Please help me, I think there is very little hope left...
