As I have posted before, I'm having trouble making WhatsApp calls and audio messages.
When I try to send an audio message, there is a +- 4 second cut in the beginning of all my messages. And sometimes the message is not recorded at all and the app crashes.
When I try to make WhatsApp calls, sometimes it takes more than 15 seconds to connect the call, and the other person is able to hear me and talk to me. This didn't happen in MIUI 11 for example.
I have only tried ColtOS 6.5, but I read that other people also faced those issues.
So, which android 10 custom rom doesn't have this issue?

Hi
after I upgraded to Marshmallow, my phone always freeze for 10 secs after watching a video file using Whatsapp.
here are the facts:
1- the video starts normally and fast without problems, the phone only freeze once the video ends.
2- if I run the video through a media player it will run smoothly and it will end normally without freezing (only freeze if I run it thought Whatsapp)
I tried the following:
reinstall Whatsapp.
reinstall the Media player (Quickpic)
clearing cache and then rebooting.
please help.
Thanks
I think it's an optimization problem, i have the same issue with Whatsapp. They need to update it!

I have this issue for over a month now, are you saying that everyone who own LG G4 and upgraded to Marshmallow are experiencing this problem?

I think yes. Maybe not all, but the most are experiencing same problem. For me it happens on chat that have a lot of message, I have deleted lots of media but message remains and it's buggy.
It's happening on my brand new HTC 10 as well, build 1.3 marshmallow
I think it's just optimization problem. I have rated bad WhatsApp maybe they moves their as**es and start to make serious updates instead of non-useful features.

At first this started a few weeks ago. I was on LOS then. Now I've switched different roms and they all got same problem. My mic will stop working after random time. It works normally after reboot but then it just stop working. First noticed this on the calls as I couldn't here anything and neither the other one who called me.
Tried to record voice message on whatsapp and the record was full of silence. Same thing on the video recording. No voice, but works normally after reboot.
So what could cause this as its not rom related. I've tried LOS and now I'm on OOS and the problem remains. And I think it's not a physical issue as it works right after reboot. I'm confused here.
I'm on 4.1.6 firmware and currently on Latest OOS with Bova launcher. No exposed or any other tricks. Same problem with latest Los.
I have been using Cypher OS with elemental x kernel, in my OnePlus 3.
Recently tried the AKT for battery life. Zhana Profile. And battery life was amazing.
But before few days (idk if this is related to the tweaks), my phone started hanging and reboots whenever I call someone. Then I noticed that the phone hangs and reboots whenever any app tries to use the mic (for example, Google Assistant, WhatsApp voice message, any other app)
I tried changing the ROM, to Paranoid Android. First few minutes, phone works fine along with the mic. And then, the problem starts again.
I tried flashing stock ROM with stock recovery. Again, for the first few minutes, everything goes fine and the problem starts again.
I searched on this, and guess no one has been facing this issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Did you do a full clean install while switching roms en such. And perhaps proper firmware? These issues are not caused by AKT. Have you tried the unbrick tool? If that doesn't help then this really sounds like a hardware problem.
Hello everyone. I'm currently using LineageOS 15.1 ROM on my Lenovo P2. Everything works fine except video recording. Every time I want to record a video it is showing as a way longer one than I recorded (for example: 10 seconds - 7 minutes (random value)). I installed api2 camera and xposed. Changing ROM and camera app didn't change anything.
bump, please help me with this problem
I have the same issue. Couldn't find a fix. When i restart the phone, recording starts working for a while. After 10-15 minutes the issue you mentioned starts...

Hi!
I own the HD1901 (Indian Variant) of the OnePlus 7t. Recently after receiving the OTA update for 11.0.2, my phone has become very buggy.
WiFi keeps disconnecting and reconnecting randomly. Have turned off the auto WiFi switch but not helping.
When I receive a call, my phone starts vibrating however the call notification doesn't pop up for the next 5 or more seconds. Thus I'm unable to see who is calling me until 5-10 seconds after I receive the call even though my phone is vibrating/ringing.
There is a delay in taking pics with the Camera app. Earlier it used to instantly save the images but now there is a slight delay after clicking the capture button.
The overall OS at times seems to be a bit buggy and laggy.
I'm not sure if there are more people facing such bugs but does anyone have a solution as to how to fix this?
Appreciate any form of help, thank you!
Format data (clean flash)
There is also a 3 second delay when clicking on the notification and when it opens the app, anyone have a fix?
