The news had Ry09iu (author of MIUI for P6) on that now is FULLY unlocked bootloader is true and now we have the first custom recovery FULL!
Is CWM 6.0.4.5 and for now is only in Chinese.
ONLY works with the ROM B118 China, because so far is the only totally free bootloader.
The news and download:
http://cn.club.vmall.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=242957&extra=page%3D1
For P6-U06 version is:
http://pan.baidu.com/s/1AFqeq Password: pwsx
I tried it and the interesting thing is that we can install the custom recovery or reinstall the original recovery that came with the phone.
Best Regards

How can I extract my carrier's stock recovery version from my phone .
I am using OnePlus 3
I cant flash custom recovery , doing so will erase stock recoveries and I cant install OTA's
My Boot loader is unlocked
The bootloader of OP3 came unlocked by default or you unlocked it ?
You can just boot into TWRP by
fastboot boot recovery.img
And then backup recovery.

I don't think so. Everything will be clear within 24 hrs when Funk Wizard's OP3 arrives. I will confirm with an edit on my guide.

Hello everyone, I have a problem with TWRP.
In my previous phone when I made a complete backup of rom an partitions, I could test another rom and if I did not like it or it was bugged, I could do a compkete restore and everything would come back to previous state.
In this phone when I backup all my partitions in twrp and restore it all my sim card is not detect, even with rom reinstall... the only way is to restore it with kies, using model and serial nr, but that took ages and I lose twrp and custom rom, returning to complete stock.
I would appreciate some help. Thanks !!
Hello
Have you make a repair of the partitions?
Its an idea and hope i can help with this. In twrp under the option wipe is it.
greets from Germany

This may be either the rom u installed upgrades your modem or a twrp problem...anyway next time restore every partition except the modem partition and tell me the result.

Thanks i Will try that !
Same problem with me but i fix this by just flasing the rom with odin but then it show a drm problem screen.
After that i flash the twrp recovery then format the j7 through the recovery and it fixed every thing.

First of all many users are confusing rom with firmware, the whole rom is flashed through fastboot or EDL (although OTA updates could be flashed through recovery) while the firmware is a small set of files that can be flashed through recovery in form of zips.
What I did to boot many GSIs out there? although any of them satisfied due to many bugs comparing with the developed custom roms for Daisy.
- Go to recovery and backup just the boot partition.
- Then format data.
- Then advanced wipe; data, system and cache/ART Dalvik cache.
- Transfer GSI to your device using any convenient method (transferring file or copying to your external SDcard)
- Flash the GSI on System Image partition.
- Restore the boot partition.
- Flash only the firmware zip (version may vary) Never I needed to flash the whole rom.
- Flash DFE.
- Switch to the other slot and reboot.
- If device won´t boot it could be required to flash a proper vendor version through fastboot. Pay attention to the slot that you flashed before to target the same slot if you need to flash this partition.
With this method I could boot to OneUI, Moto, nubia, ZenUI, HydrogenOS and Xperia while I can´t on ZUIOS and didn´t try with FlymeOS

I'm now far from a pc, under Guides section you can find it.
Doing this way you won't need to reflash TeamWin.

I´m back, the link is to download the whole rom.
Remember the difference between rom and firmware that I mentioned before?.
This is the link for firmwares https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2-lite/how-to/firmware-updates-daisy-t3975879
Anyway you´ll need sometimes the whole rom and sometimes it´ll be enough flashing just the firmware.

Hi,
sorry for the question: MY phone is EU but my build number is 10.3.2.HD65AA
Is there really no difference in the build number between Indian and EU version?
I did not find a way to determine the Region of the Rom...
Will this work or bootloop?
thx,
jens
