Battery Bar Mod - Google Pixel 4 XL Themes, Apps, and Mods

Credits go to @pvyParts for his thread at https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1371330
The mod installs files and app necessary for the files to work. The app is called battery bar settings. This puts a bar at the top or bottom of the statusbar indicating the battery charge. The app is old and doesn't usually change settings right away but once it settles in it appears to work okay. This will be added to my ADB installer as well.

Do you have another link for the "Battery Bar Top" because I'm getting a file not found error with AFH

Paranoid Android ROM-how do I change battery status to display percentage?

In Cyanogenmod I could display a percentage instead of the filled bar for the battery status, but I can't find a similar option in PA. Any tips?
Also, is there a way to add the menu button permanently to the bottom bar? It bothers me on the homescreen to have to click the lines on the top.

[Q] How to make drop down home menu stand alive?

Hey,
When I let my phone to be inactive for few seconds - drop down menu from Home disappears. How to make it always "On" so I can see the clock, wireless icon etc.
Thanks!
What exactly do you mean by 'Drop down menu from home?'
Hey, thanks for replay.
Well the drop down menu, one you can access if you slide from up of the screen to down. I basically want to make status bar visible whole time, and status bar seems like part of that drop down menu. So my main question is WRONG - I want visible status bar.

[Q] How to? T-Mobile LG D851 G3 Hide Top Status Bar

I think it's silly that LG has given us this big beautiful screen and diminishes it's full glory by not easily allowing you to hide the top status bar. I am pleasntly supprised about the fact that they let you hide the home navigation bar on the bottom. Love that.
So getting to work, how do we hide the top status bar in the same way as the bottom bar with a swipe to activate on demand?
So far on my quest I have done the following:
Placed the phone in developer mode and allowed USB debuging. Described here in the a PurpleDrake how to guide that I used: http://www.droidviews.com/root-and-install-twrp-recovery-on-t-mobile-lg-g3-d851/
PurpleDrake: Rooted, Installed TWRP, Disable LG Security. http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-lg-g3/development/root-twrp-root-twrp-tmo-lg-g3-t2821005
Installed Xposed Framework http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-installer-versions-changelog-t2714053
Installed G3 TweaksBox and activated the module in the Xposed Framework https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.ptoti.g3_tweaksbox&hl=en
I have searched and searched google, xda and all the phone settings looking for an easy way to hide the status bar. What am I missing? Can someone please help? I hope this will benefit a lot of people. Thanks :good:
If you download gravity box module for xposed you can put the phone in expanded desktop mode which will hide the status bar

Is that just for the homescreen view or all the time? I'm looking to hide it while in applications. The same way the home nav bar at the bottom hides. Thanks
I use ADB launcher to get the job done.

ADB Launcher allows you to hide the notification bar and create a bottom drawer where you can use folder editor to put in category Icons that when pressed open up a slideable selection bar to select programs stored under that icon. Everything is neat and tidy on mine. No wasted screen space.

Thanks. More that I play with the phone, the more I realize that I actually just want the web browser to go full screen. Just need the status bar to hide when browsing. Don't really want to install an aftermarket launcher.
For other people's benefit, in case anyone else finds this thread that wants to use their phone's full screen. I found a solution that seems to fit the bill. I'm using an app called full!screen that says it's for tablets but seems to work almost perfectly https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.tsorn.FullScreen&hl=en
It has a pie menu included so you don't even need the pie app.

Notification icons not showing?

Notification icons just flash for 2 seconds in top left corner then disappear. I've turned off all battery optimization but problem persists. I'm referring to top left corner of the screen where notification icons are visible in other phones.
I think it ist the Same Problem that the Mi 9 and Note 7 Had too.

Thanks. They've disabled notification for all apps by default. Under notification settings there's 'app settings' and one has to enable notification for each app individually including message app. Notification Led working now but icons still don't stay on top left corner for long. On further reading most Mi phones with notch & running Miui 10 have/had this issue.

Heard that this issue should be fixed in MIUI 11 so they persist in the top left like stock Android.

Use Nots in Notch app for persistent notification icons. Have been using since note 7.
