Hello I am running the most current version of Paranoid Android 3+ available at the moment for the Verizon Galaxy Nexus. My question is how do i do the per app color that changes the nav bar and status bar colors to match the app color? I have tried to enable automatic color (ideal) and i have also tried setting the colors manually but even when i press apply in the context window for the app, the settings still do not apply and save. Where am i messing up? Also unrelated but is there a way to make the clock in the status bar be positioned in the middle? Thanks.
Enable PA Colors
Go to settings, go to Hybrid properties, and then:
1) Click on the red option that says PA Colors, and in the top right click on apply.
2) Then, go back to the home page of the Hybrid Properties, and swipe to the right.
3) Now select Interface. Here you can change your overall lay-out, overall DPI and NAV. bar height.
4) But also you'll see a section that says something like General Colors, with a checkmark box that says Enable per app Colors. Check this. Then click on Apply in the top right corner again. It will ask you to reboot.
5) Click on OK, and your phone will reboot. After that your phone should have per app colors!
And if you want to change per app colors very quickly when you are in an app, slide down with two fingers from the status bar, and select the tile with the five colored squares. Swipe to the left and you can change the colors of the app you are using at the moment. Just remember to hit apply after you're done!
And there you go If I helped you, please click that Thanks button
In Cyanogenmod I could display a percentage instead of the filled bar for the battery status, but I can't find a similar option in PA. Any tips?
Also, is there a way to add the menu button permanently to the bottom bar? It bothers me on the homescreen to have to click the lines on the top.

Have you looked in settings > battery to see if its there. That's how it is in omni, might be the same.

Try this.. drag down from the top once.. then tap on the blue person icon next to the settings button.
does it close the status bar and make it refuse to open until a reboot? Wondering if its my phone

Hide icons of running apps on the status bar? Is it possible to do this without rooting? I hate having to look at the spotify icon / whatsapp desktop and other apps icons on my status bar all the time, it looks so cluttered , I KNOW spotify it's running since the music is playing google, I'm not that stupid to know it's running in the background , if I want to look at my notifications, let's say I get an email, I'll slide down the notification bar , I don't need notifications being thrown at me all the time...

Does long pressing the notification in question not allow you to shut it off? Or am I misunderstanding your interpretation?
Press and hold the Settings icon Quick Settings for a while. You'll see a new section System UI Tuner, from. There you can turn on or off icon in the status bar area. You'll also now notice a wrench next to your settings icon in your quick setting area.
I hope this is what you're referring to.
You can also swipe right slowly and it will reveal a settings icon, tap there and turn off notification from just that app

If you do that you then silence all the notifications for that app , don't get me wrong I don't want to eliminate the notifications , I just want to eliminate the icons on the status bar .
Take a look at the picture I uploaded , see how the bar gets crowded with all those app icons from Spotify , the new York times apps etc ?
For what you're wanting, you'll need root.
Hi everyone, just got LG G7 from tmobile. I am confused, almost on every picture on the internet I see battery percentage in the top right corner of the screen. In my case in order for me to see battery % I need to pull down the notification panel. Is there a way to fix that? I already went to battery settings and switched on the option to show the battery % in notifications panel. Please help.

I was about to post the same question so I'm looking for the answer too...
If you go into Settings and then Battery, there is a toggle that says "Battery Percentage on status bar".

Ok, I was just messing with it and you are right. It will never show it in the notch but it toggles that option in the notification drop down.
I love the phone, but seriously, what is the point of calling this a second screen if you still have to pull down the notification bar to see the icons?
I hope they add an option for always show icons....

Hmm, that is kind of odd. I wonder the reasoning for the bug on T-Mobile version?
Oh you know what, he's right. I been too busy gaming to realize it shows all the time outside of games.
Well as you can see in the screenshot below, it does not show up on the T-Mobile version of the G7

I have T-Mobile variant and it does show on mine. Did you update the device?
I'm on T-Mobile, and it's showing just fine for me, no pull-down required. Toggling "Battery percentage on status bar" in Settings | Battery toggles it off and on (for me, anyway).
I did a factory reset and now I have the percentage in the notification bar. Perhaps it a bug??
Has to do with display size. Turn it all the way down.
Go to:
Settings
Display
Display size

I have the T-Mobile version as well and it's not showing on mine, no matter what
You need to enable two things for this to work.
Go into Settings and then Battery and turn on "Battery percentage on status bar". \
You also need to select Standard from New Second Screen settings.

I have both set as you do and it still does not show. I am on to too
Ok tried everything. The only solution that works is to go to display settings and move the slider all the way to the left, the smallest size. Nothing else will work.

Yes this is the only solution that seems to work, good job guys
Now the question is, how do you make display size bigger without loosing the battery % in the notification panel? ?
