AFAIK while using AVRCP, the audio will not be sent through 3.5mm jack. If the media player supports BT remote control, then u can control the media functions (play, pause, next, previous) of it using wildfire.

Pogo pin desktop dock and 3.5mm audio lineout

Does anyone use headphones with the audio lineout on the pogo pin desktop dock?
When I use my headphones with the dock, from what I can tell, the volume cannot be adjusted via the phone and I find it to be a little bit too high. I believe the audio out line is meant for external desktop speakers and what not and I thought I read somewhere that it isn't recommended to use headphones with the 3.5mm headphone jack.
Maybe there is a dock setting within the phone to be able to control the volume that I am missing but worse case scenario I may just pick up an inline 3.5mm volume control connector like this one:

You might try using Poweramp music player. It has a DVC setting which allows volume control through the 3.5 mm dock port. DVC is located under Settings --> Audio --> Advanced Tweaks.
me too.mine is desktop dock which is horizontal

Using jack audio output as input

Hi,
couldn't find anything on google. When trying radio app I noticed it uses the headphone cables in audio jack output as antenna for the radio (so basically as input) and so I wondered whether there's an app or something that could force other apps that require audio jack input to use the output jack as input (and disable the microphone then)?

is usb audio enabled on zenfone 2?

hi
i recently bought a chord mojo as an amplifier for my headphones. i tested it on the zenfone 2 and i find out that i can only play audio if played through usb audio player pro but i couldn't play any audio through power amp, spotify, mx player pro, youtube, etc. i thought that usb audio is already enabled for lollipop so i was expecting that this available already for all sources. do i need to download additional drivers?
thanks

In order to enable usb audio, you have to choose AudioWizard\Smart mode then plugin usb audio in and play.

This didn't work unfortunately. My usb dac isn't picking up the sound
For me, it worked by using the afore mentioned setting and by plugging a cable from the headphone jack to my aux jack on my car deck.

Hello
Unfortunately, chord mojo doesn't have an aux in. It requires purely digital input.
Hello
I flashed android 6.0 and my usb dac is working marvelously now. I guess the stock rom from asus which i think is lollipop version 5.0.1 does not support usb audio.
Any more issues playing Spotify or anything else? I'm thinking of the exact combination of phone and DAC.

C USB Audio

Not sure if it's a glitch or what. I read the possibility of re-routing your C-USB audio through your Bluetooth output was improbable because more than likely C-USB audio routing through the speaker settings when using viper4android was due to hardware.
That doesn't seem to be the case with the March update. If I'm listening to music on my Bluetooth headphones and make the switch to my aux cable using the C-USB adapter, while my Bluetooth settings are still enabled my audio routes through Bluetooth.
Anyone aware if this is a glitch or not? It's pretty amazing. As routing audio through your aux using viper4android speaker settings are trash.
