Just as the title suggests, what are the best viper settings for this phone's speakers? I recently rooted my phone and never used viper before

Hi Guys,
I have recently installed ARHD 6.3.1 on my rooted Desire HD, but after installing I have no audio on external speakers. Previously I had ARHD 6.2.0 before and never has similar issue. However I can hear audio through headphones, wifi is also working. In fact, everything else is fantastic. I have tried flashing this ROM again and again, but always have this same issue. Can anyone please let me know the solution?
Thanks in advance.
Are you plugging the external speakers into the headphone jack, or are the speakers wireless?
Phone speaker
By external speakers I mean the speakers of the Desire HD. When I plugin headphone in 3.5 mm headjack I can hear everything. If I do not, there is nothing I could hear.
IThe volume is to low now for my bluetooth stereo headphones. How would I increase the gain in the ROM.I am not talking the slider in the sound menu.In the past on other phone you could hack certain hexidecimal values to increase the volume. I have know idea how to do it with this phone, or the Android OS. It would help out a lot since I listen to a lot of music through bluetooth in my cars also. .Also with this ROM I can not flash a boot animation, I was able to flash a new splash screen though. I know I am asking a lot, but this place is the best, and I know that you have the answers.
Thanks in advance recently unlocked and rooted my HTC Evo 4G and installed the htc_supersonic-ota-eng.deck-pb25.zip ROM. It works beautiful.
Anyone know how to install it on m9. HTC device to hard for install soundmod.
I imagine that you'll need a custom rom or custom kernel. I don't know why you want to mod the sound because there is nothing wrong with boomsound.
A true audiophile wouldn't be listening to music on a mobile phone as the quality will always be poor no matter the driver or headphones or speakers.

Hello, i use bluetooth headphones to listen music and i like strong bass. I use Viper4Android to boost the bass and I recently changed my ROM from Fulmics 6.9 to XenonHD 7.1.2. I never had this issue on Fulmics but in every AOSP-Lineage based ROM, when the bass hits, the sound level drops significantly and turns back after the bass. I though Apt-x might be the reason of this since Android does not support Apt-x originally. I tried flashing the Apt-x zip that's roaming around on xda forums but it resulted in broken bluetooth so i had to flash the ROM again. Any suggestions? Thank you

In Viper(ver 2.5.0.5) settings under "FX compatible mode" switch from normal to compatible and see if that helps.
Also to avoid any conflicts I usually uninstall whatever sound app comes included with the ROM(if there is one), so maybe give that a try as well.

No problem...sorry I couldn't help. Maybe someone else can :good:
*Unticking viper bass or just lowering the sliders(63,125, 250) a little should help, but if you're a basshead then those are not ideal for you.
I would suggest trying to built in equaliser.
It has a manual equaliser and bass booster option on top of that, which if you set to a 100 percent you can easily break the sound.
hey
I own a rooted G8s running Viper4Android. When activating the equalizer basses don't get through at all and voices get muffled when there should be bass.
Today I bought another pair of in-ears to test if maybe the earphones are the problem but nope, it's not them - I bought the ones I used for years on other phones and V4A always gave me amazing bass.
I now suspect LG's weird equalizer to impact/mess with V4A and wanna know if there is a way to completely disable it. Even when set to "normal" it still seems to be processing which is absolutely not what I want.
EDIT: Found it! Had to go to the audio_effects.xml in /vendor/etc and edit out all entries containing "eagle" (aka the codename for DTS)
