Scrolling wallpaper? - Samsung Galaxy S20 / S20+ / S20 Ultra Questions &

I just picked up my S20 and for the life of me can't seem to find out where to enable scrolling wallpapers. Is this feature disabled in oneUI? Or am i just crazy and missing something.
scrolling as in the wallpaper shifts when you move between home screens.

I don't use stock Launcher but on NOVA is working fine.

Unfortunately it is disabled in One UI 2.1 launcher , you need a launcher like Nova to enable it

Widgets missing on NOVA launcher.

Hi guys, I own a LG G3 D855.
I just purchased Nova Launcher app. and was wondering why I can't see like 'calendar, favourite contacts, E-mail, FM Radio, LG Music, Smart notice and Weather' widgets.
Is there a way to able to see those widgets using a 3rd party launcher? Or are there any launcher that makes default launcher's widgets visible ?
looking forward to your reply
* Non-root device
* No external SDcard.

I believe LG widgets will only show on the stock launcher.

this. it's been like that for all phones with system skins, their apps widgets only work on their launchers.
Are you using any nova icon packs?

nope I am not. Are there ways around getting those specific LG calendar/music/weather working on different launcher?
Hmmm.... I think they appear on otjer launchers from memory. You can also use nova to actually edit the miasing icons and assign new ones instead. Ut that can be a bit annoying. Are you a nova die hard?

I'm not having issues with the icons. I can't get the actual "Weather/music/Calendar" widgets on 3rd party launcher (Nova Launcher). I'm just worried because I purchased Pro Nova Launcher. I mean I could get 3rd party weather, calendar and music app but what a waste T_T

what launcher?

Just curious, what launcher is everyone running right now? I have experimented with lawn chair and stock
Lawnchair
Hyperion Pro.

Nova Launcher Prime with no issues with gesture navigation, Google feed enabled and good performance.
Stock launcher
My top 4:
1. Nova Launcher
2. Shade Launcher
3. Oneplus Launcher
4. Lawnchair
I've tried several others not worth mentioning. I still went back to Nova because it's the most stable yet most customizable.
Performance - Fluidity - Customisation balanced :
OnePlus Launcher
Lawnchair
Hyperion
Used Nova for more than 5 years, but currently its not fluid like other modern launchers. It badly needs optimizations. (You won't probably realise it you dont use other launchers)
Nova launcher always...
But sometimes it crashes mainly while using some tamil font websites...

True that, Nova Launcher isn't that smooth like for example on my previous Android phone Nexus 4 - Lawnchair and Hyperion is good option.

I use Niagara launcher
So far is the best it doesn't have tones of customization but it is minimalistic
Honestly, I don't care about customization as much
I am just looking for a smooth, lag free and reliable experience.
Been using Nova for years, customization to how I want it.
Since no one else said it...
Smart launcher.
Not much on customization, but the categories of apps makes me happy.
I have used Action Launcher for a long time now, but just couldbt set it up the way I want on OnePlus 7T.
Tried using Lawnchair but it didn't work for me and I was back to Nova.
It's been set up perfectly and I am not going back to anything
All other launchers bow to the greatest, NOVA. Not even worth trying anything else...

Nova FTW!
With navigation gestures, all third party launchers are useless imo. The animation when swiping home is just terrible..

This.
I am using stock launcher since I use navigation gestures.
OP Launcher, Stock is usually best since key optimisation unlike third party.

Android Gestures and Custom launchers

Just wanted to know if it is something I done wrong but when I use the android 10 gestures with any custom launcher the gestures dont work as well and the animations are kind of buggy.
Two things, in my opinion, that you did wrong; migrate to Q and use a custom launcher.
Pie and One UI are fast, stable, get good battery life* , are reasonably secure and are very customizable.
Never fix something that isn't broke... unless you want some "fun", adventure and have a lot of time to kill.
*Once optimized. Part of the "fun", adventure and a lot of time to kill thing:laugh:

There hundreds of third party launchers for Android.
Which "custom" launcher are you using?
I use Microsoft Launcher and Samsung OneUI 2.5 gestures work fine.

I tried with Nova, Lawchair and Action Launcher.
I teste the MS Launcher and the animations are still not working link the stock launcher. I took a screenshot to show how the dock icons appears at the bottom when changing apps. Sometimes the bottom gestures stop working all together. None os theses things happen when using stock launcher.

Question Can the iQOO 9 Pro (India version) use gesture navigation for 3rd party launchers?

The title sums it up - Is it possible to use gesture navigation with 3rd party launchers (like Nova Launcher) on the iQOO 9 Pro?

Yes, NAV Gestures work with 3rd Party launchers, however, some animations (like recent apps) don't and there may be some instability overall.

Did you guys find any workaround to make it work as it should? The animation ****ing up is the main reason I'm still on stock launcher and considering banging my head against the wall. :/

Question 3rd part launcher with gestures

Hi,
how can I use 3rd part launchers with gestures? Nova for example.
Full screen gestures are part of the launcher and work only when the MIUI System launcher is the default launcher.
Try fluid navigation gestures or Root +magisk modules maybe.

Please read my question again. I'm asking that there is any way to achieve (as root) that because it's not possible. Gestures work only with build in luncher.
try the app "mygesture" , it works with nova without rout. you can customize your gesture the way you want.
