Hello,
From last 2 days, I am facing this issue and I was unable to find any solution from anywhere and anyone !
It's an app optimization and logo stuck issue. When I start TV it's working fine, but after 2 hours, this problem occurred ! The TV screen went black and this dialog box appeared - Android is starting.... Application Optimization X of 64. Now still it's an endless loop. I was unable to start / watch TV. Whenever I start this loop appearing and when all app optimization done on that time TV is restarted and stuck at the logo and then after it goes off.
Is there any secret key or anything available for hard reset this micromax android TV? it yes then please provide to me all steps. It can easily resolve this issue.
Thank you

Hello,
Got an AFTV at staple the other day. I tried to follow the aftvnews guide "How to setup a new AFTV...".
Apparently my AFTV was pretty old since the initial unplug/plug trick did not work and the box was always stuk on waiting to download the update. I finally let the update run through and ended up with Firmware 51.1.0.2_user_510058520.
After that I tried to root the AFTV. For this I used adbFire. I was able to connect to the box (no internet connection at that time) and click on the Towelroot option. I did click on "Make it ra1n" and wait for a very long time. I never saw any message indicating that it succeded or failed. With the remote I ended up going back to the previous menu. I tried to install SuperSu but that did not work. Su was not installed. After rebooting the box, I get the back and white Amazon logo and then the screen goes black. The TV shows the selected input as if the AFTV is not sending any signal. I tried to plug the internet cable (with the 2 domains blocked) and the AFTV finally goes from the Orange blicking led to the Blue one but it's still stuck after the amazon back and white logo. I did try the ALT-I-PrntScr (which had worked previously when I was trying to prevent the update to install, I managed to get into recovery and do a factory reset ,so I know the keyboard itself is OK). But this time ALT-I-PrntScr only get the box to restart and brings me back to the Amazon black and white logo that disappear after a minute.
Nevertheless, I can still access the box from an adb shell, adbFire can connect to the AFTV. But since I no longer see any menu on the screen I can't attempt to reroot from adb fire.
A reboot recovery does not work as it's not authorized.
su command is not found , so it would confirm supersu did not install (properly). What's weird though is that if I do a ps, I see a process "u0_a1 6199 328 476352 18640 ffffffff 00000000 S eu.chainfire.supersu"
Any idea how I can unstuck the box ?
Thank you.
Some info for people in the same situation, the issue was that Towelroot needs internet access to complete.
i have exactly the same situation here. system doing an update and the power got cut off and viola. Welcome white amazon logo and pulsing white and orange indicator light. Tried all the possible ways found on the forum and net but no joy. Now its sitting on my drawer and hoping i can still find a way to make it alive.

I have the same exact issue right now, probably that same update yours downloaded from 2 weeks ago:

This guy had the same problem too, and he has a big list of things to try, none of which worked for me:

Mine's unrooted on the latest version, so I guess I can't root and reinstall rom. I'd hate to have to throw this away it's only 2 years old. I have a 5 year old Roku that still runs great.
"Perfect" timing I guess with Prime Day coming up?
Edit: couple more guys having the same issue recently, sounds like a mass bricking going on

I played with mine a bit more today and I was able to fix
I read somewhere that someone else was having the same issue and said it was a HDCP handshake issue and they were able to fix by plugging to a different HDMI port on the TV. I tried that and it booted up to the colorful Amazon logo, showed the home page for a sec, then went to a black screen. From here, it would flash the home screen really quick randomly every 30 secs or so, so I know it booted up and I'm on the home page, it's just not displaying correctly. I was then able to pair my remote (I unpaired before because I was using flirc), then us the remote shortcut to factory reset. Good to go after the reset.
TBH, I did not try turning it on before I swapped HDMI ports so I'm not 100% sure if switching ports really did help it boot past the white logo, or if it just happen to get fixed after some time.
Interestingly while on the colorful logo, the alt+i+printscreen trick did not work for me. So it took me longer before I could get to the factory reset.

Sorry you weren't able to fix. Before you throw away, try contacting support. Not because they can fix it, they most probably can't. When I had problems with mine, I contacted them and they gave me a $15 credit off of a new one because I was out of warranty. This was a couple days before Prime Day so I was able to snag a new one for really cheap. Plus my old one started working again, so I now have 2 Fire TVs
This morning I removed my SW2 device from the charger, and after noticing that my OnePlus smartphone didn't recognize it anymore I tried to reboot the smartwatch.
Since then it seems to be no longer working. The Sony logo appears, there is a loading bar for a few seconds, then the screen flashes for a moment, and it goes back to the Sony logo, and so on.
I have also tried to switch off my OnePlus completely in order to exclude any pairing bug.
I read from the web that it might be possible to force a factory reset by pressing the power button for 15 seconds, but this doesn't work for me - it simply switches the SW2 off.
By putting it again under charge I notice that it turns automatically on, but even then it remains stuck in the bootloop.
Please help, I feel like I bought just an expensive little wrist brick.
Something like this has started to happen to me to... when the watch boots the Sony logo can be either yellow.. .or blue.. or white...
Edit: Try the procedure described in this post. Only 5 mins since I did it.. but so far, so good. :highfive:
I've fixed the problem - by buying a Moto 360.
I would advise everyone to stay away from SW2. It runs a proprietary OS + proprietary software that is just not compatible with everything that is happening in the rest of the world with Android Wear, it's not compatible with all the apps released for Android Wear (and hence it's compatible with only few apps exclusively released for SW2), and in case something goes wrong for any reason (like my bootloop), it's not even possible to perform a factory reset.
Sony Smartwatch 2 stuck in bootloop after a normal reboot
anybody help????
Hi today I am unable to screen mirror on to my FireTV Stick, I have used it several times last week but suddenly its not working.
FireTV is unrooted with latest firmware installed.
Whenever I am trying to screen mirroring from my phone on TV I am seeing its connecting to my mobile, but after few seconds its coming back to home screen by saying screen mirroring is exiting.
I have tried 2 different phones, but same issue. Can anybody help me out? I have already tried factory reset but no luck!
I have exactly the same issue, windows 10. any solution yet?
2 Days ago I got the new Oreo update on my 43 inch PUS7303 but since that day I have got only issues and little to no useful features.
Common Interface sometimes doesn't authenticate, WiFi sometimes doesn't connect automatically, Channel changing now feels 1-2 seconds slower, Android keeps bringing back the All channels from my provider instead of my Favorites list of channels and the UI has more glitches and stutters than it had before.
The new homepage now has just a black background and stops TV channel playback in the background.
The idea of "channels" for Apps is good but when you press the Home button it takes 6-7 seconds to load the videos from the Apps because of the slow MediaTek Processor.
Is there anyway to downgrade to Nougat ?
HI,
you should consider a factory reset... however, some of your points are just "features" of Oreo - e.g. the background in HOME and that there is no sound in HOME...

I tried a Factory Reset, and even though it fixed the overall experience by some 10% I still don't like Oreo and would like to go back to nougat.
I see that you are from a website that I followed a tutorial to downgrade but failed, Could you help me?
Here is what I did on my 43PUS7303
I used the upgrade_loader.pkg of both of these Nougat versions: TPM171E_105.1.2.75_upgrade_loader and TPM171E_105.1.2.17_upgrade_loader. I tried 2-3 times.
I put the upgrade_loader file in the root of a USB and start the procedure by unplugging the TV from power and plugging it in again with the USB connected to the 2.0 port.
The procedure starts, TV shows the message Software upgrade in process and it lasts 5-10 minutes.
After it finishes, it boots back to Android Oreo.
65put6800/56 issue
i m also facing almost same issue with my Philips 65put6800 android tv. Last day my google play store crashed automatically(message: unfortunately the google play store services has been stopped) due to less storage space. then i had try to reinstall tv using settings tab from menu and it took almost 01 hr to switch on tv after so many reboot process. But it was jus useless and the result was zero .
I have the UPG file of the current running android version of my TV but when i m trying to install it using USB device the system it self showing as message that " the software i m trying to install is same or equivalent to the current software version ". There is no other updates are available for Philips till today.
I m really fed up and tried all methods to get in boot loader menu of my tv but i didn't get through.
Would you please help me to get inside the boot menu of my Philips android TV and to install the UPG file from usb.
Awaiting your reply.
Hi i was upgraded to oreo when its released and using until today but i had a issue about netflix yesterday and today. basically netflix app opens automatically and if i try to exit , its opening app again and again , yesterday i solved that issue with rip off the power cable and waited 5 mins then plugged the cable and its solved but now its not worked and i rip off the power cable again and pluged back then when the tv boots up i did factory reset before netflix app opens. well... weirdly after the factory reset on Welcome (language selection) setup screen netflix opens again i did rip off the power cable again and waited for some minutes then its solved but i did factory reset again. also im sure that remote buttons are didnt stuck cause i dont see and led blinking on tv and i also tried to remove batteries on the remote and tried to remote with android tv remote app on my phone. until now after the factory reset it soft rebooted itself by randomly but nothing about netflix until now. so i wonder whats causing this issue cuz its pretty sucks .
