Is there a way to root with Mac? I'm used to using a PC but I'm away from that at the moment and have a Mac.

I would like to root my LG G3 phone. It is running Android 5.0.1. I haven't been able to root it with the no PC one click root apps, nor have I found a guide for doing it with Ubuntu.
Id like to either root it, or downgrade it to 4.4.2 and root it that way, but I don't have access to a Windows computer. Just Ubuntu 12.04.
Does anyone know what i have to download and what the process would be?
