Urgent help needed after Nougat. IMS has stopped working

After Nougat update I'm continuously getting this message "Unfortunately, LG IMS has stopped" every 2 secs.
I have reset my phone but the problem still persists.
I also tried going into hidden menu / modem setting / and tried going into VOLTE / IMS but not able to do that since I keep on getting IMS has stopped error and not able to disable VOLTE.
Need a quick solution.
I have my SIM unlocked for other networks
Any help would be appreciated.
i am having this exact same issue and i see you also had your phone unlocked by asadnow2k so we no that there is some sort of issue with that type of unlock and android 7.0 i am confident that asadnow2k will fix the issue if it can be fixed
##RTN#
You can try dialing ##RTN#(requires your MSL) this will reset all settings and unlock will gone. After this you should unlock the phone again. Hope this helps! But not 100% shure.
any other ideas to solve this??
in case anyone was wondering doing the ##RTN# reset does get rid of the problem but then you are left without an unlock
How to unlock on nougat?

A lot of us are facing this issue!!
Downgrade is not working for me
I used LGUP and tried all V3, V5 and V4 but nothing can be worked on LG up tool.. May be nouget can not be rolled back
Infact i bricked my phone but then i used LG mobile support application and restore my phone which is back and running on nouget again..
I bought a service for unlock from ebay but that person also can not unlock the phone on nouget so seems like now we have to wait untill GCPro guys comes with unlock

My phone was sim unlocked but after the update I keep getting com.android.phone has stopped, I dont have the msl code so is there a way to reset the settings without the msl?, ive tried ##72786# but it didn't work, if someone who has sprint is willing to help me out that would be great. Thanks in advance
Any other solution
So downgrade not working as confirmed by ppanf.
Can't reset MSL code since that would mean sim lock and as of now there is no unlock on nougat.
Any other hack guys???

Can't update to Android 9.0

I just bought samsung s9 SM-G960U but can't it won't update to android 9.0 manually ! it says processing failed
I did some researches I found that it's carrier-related . Some solutions suggests that I use odin to update but I can't choose the right firmware !
In fact :
- when I try to check the csc using *#1234# it show g960usqu2are6 ( I think it's Verizon using google)
- when I log on into samsung website and enter my imei . The product info shows that my carrier type is Sprint
- when I check "about phone/service Provider SW " on my phone the first line contains TMB after G960U and the third line is TGY/TGY/TGY
I'm confused but I want to update my s9 to android 9.0 . Help me

get the firmware here
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s9/SM-G960U/VZW/download/G960USQU4CSC7/265795/
get the most recent version of Odin (i didnt source you a link for that)
open Odin on your computer
unzip the package and get your phone into download mode, connecting it to your computer. Allow drivers to install and when Odin recognizes your device by showing a random number in the port field. Then place the files in their corresponding spots in Odin paying attention to which CSC file you use as one factory resets the phone and the other simply applies the update. It is recommended to use the factory reset CSC when changing from different iterations of the Android OS. Press the start button, allow it to full run the firmware push. It will then automagically reboot (yes, automagically), and youre done.

Once a phone is unlocked, it stays that way forever. Firmware has nothing to do with a phone's locked or unlock status.

Depends how it was unlocked, seen a few members flash new firmware and the phone is SIM locked again, these unlock companies must use some modification to the firmware rather than unlocking it properly

Good to know. Wasn't aware that a phone could be unlocked with firmware alone. I guess it's a temporary overlay or something that "fakes" being unlocked?

Yea must be something that emulates the unlock somehow but once reset or flashed it's gone, always seems to be people who have bought the phone second hand unlocked, it has worked fine with their sim until they reset or flash different firmware, then it's locked again
No network on device after firmware update

i havent tried this method, but i did stumble across this
Boot your Samsung Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9 Plus
Activate then access the USB debugging mode
Sync your Samsung Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9 Plus to your desktop PC
Download this: EFS Restorer Express
Access the application and then open the EFS-BACK.BAT file
Choose a method in order to recover the EFS via Odin

Question SM-F9260

Hi
Is there anyway to change SM-F9260 CSC to SM-F926B India or Bangladesh to get the call recording and keep everything stock. I don't want to loose the Camera but unlocking the bootloader
Does Flashing with Odin need unlocking the bootloader?
I am also having problem often with call drop. Almost every other call while talking the other person can't hear me in the middle of the conversation. Then I have to hang-up and call back. Does anyone else facing the same problem?
No one knows a solution or can help with my problem??

First method might not work, but enter *#272*IMEI# into your phone dialer and hit call. That will either say not capable, or bring you to a list of csc's that you can select from.
But otherwise with android 11 the CSC is fairly locked unless you buy credits and pay to use samkey to do so

Samkey doesn't support SM-F9260 yet. It doesn't show on the list. Other method also don't work.
variant csc flashing requires unlocked bootloader which in turns disable the camera until a solution is found

Hello
Did anyone find a solution to get Native Call Recording? Samkey still doesn't support Fold 3.
Please help.
Thank you

S20 can make calls after tmobile update 12

I have s20 fe 5g cant make calls after update 12 tmobile ? Internet and txt still work . if I factory reset it will call ? But if I remove sim and put back in it won't call?
Did you do a factory reset?
Best to do after a major upgrade... may or may not fix it. A roll back to 11 would.
I think it start after 11
