Hey everyone!
Just wanted to ask a question about phone temperature. My GNex seems to run extremely warm when performing simple tasks, like streaming youtube, downloading a small (less than 10MB) apo while on mobile data, but not on Wi-Fi. Heat is localized above the battery, near the camera, where I assume the guts of the unit are centralized.
It is running roughly 29 degrees CELCIUS when booting. As I type this Battery Indicator Pro is saying its at 34 Degrees CELCIUS. Max it hits 38, but never shuts down. Currently vary worried about my phone.
Anyone else experiencing this? Want to know if I have a lemon unit or not. Its of

Check for apps running in background, trace & kill apps u don't use and using heavy ram/cpu usage. See if Overheat app is running. Room temperature also plays an important role.
Just bought my z1 compact 3 days ago and my battery temps are 33.9 deg. Celsius on idle, played dead trigger for 20min 41.6 deg. Celsius, Eternity Warriors 3 with WiFi on 44 deg. Celsius and then downloading with torrent on LTE 41 deg. Celsius. There were no apps running on the background. I have 7 days replacement, should i get it replaced? Or are these temperature normal for this phone. I never got this hot with my previous china phone with mtk 6589 cpu and pwrvr sgx544 gpu.
Same here. But I noticed I got 41C only when using WiFi and flash games and on wifi and browsing I get about 37 C
BTW. Is there a way to close all apps? On Samsung there was a organizer like app
I think these temperatures are normal for this phone, ive read the review of z1c on notebookcheck and my temps and their result on their tests are close.
My OnePlus One running CM 12.1 averages around 9 mA current drain when in Deep Sleep and the screen is Off.
My SM-T800 running CM12.1 (NVertigo) averages around 60 mA current drain when in Deep Sleep and the screen is Off - And, I have a lot less apps installed on the SM-T800 .
What / Why is the SM-T800 drawing so much power compared to my OnePlus One?
What app are you using to measure the ma when in deep sleep?
My T800 use between 5 to 9 mah in deep sleep.

Hi, @Tinderbox (UK) - I use Battery Monitor Widget Pro, using the "Android mA" setting.
Looking at the title of my posting for this thread, I guess I shouldn't have posted this via my cell phone.
Darned autocorrect.
@Tinderbox (UK) - Do you (or anyone else) have any other suggestions?
Hello guys, how are you? Well, I wonder if anyone else besides me note our Tab S slightly warm. For some time I have been checking the temperatures of the tablet and was surprised when I saw that reached 80-90 • C. My most frequent temperature is 55-70C. I particularly think that high, because in many comments here on the forum, members said high temperature to 55C. What do you think? It's a problem of my particular device or a failure to determine the exact temperature of the device bringing incorrect values? Someone else got a temperature above 70C? SM-T700.
I just flashed the new 20a Marshmallow software, and I'm playing games on my phone right now and the temperature seems to be better than it was before. GSam battery monitor has it around 102 - 103 degrees F. I think this is cooler than when on Lollipop. Just seeing if anyone else has similar experiences.
