Screen only showed lines that i can't even see a thing for a few seconds then it went back to normal so I didn't mind at first then after a few seconds it went back to lines. After restarting a few times and leaving it for a while on its own, it's now just faint white lines on the edges. I haven't dropped it or anything, please help

A small portion of my screen turned yellow awhile ago for like 2 mins but is now gone, should i be worried about this ? Uppermost center and at first i thought it was just my eyes but i showed a few people and they noticed it too. Its probably the glue right ? Should i be concerned this will get worse ? My screen also has screen rippling on the sides btw
Sent from my Nexus 7
Long story short, I was working on my GF's grandmas car, and she calls so I was talking to her. I sweat a lot, and the phone screen usually gets covered in sweat. I guess some of it got INTO the phone, and broke my god damn screen. At night, the screen was flickering brightness. I rebooted the phone and it went away, so I figured nothing of it. This morning, I woke up and the screen was flickering bad and then it went black and now it randomly draws purple. the phone works as I can hear it open and run apps. The screen is just black. zero physical damage, water marks on the phone are white. I can see where it was wet on the bottom of the phone inside. Tried taking out the mobo and looking, no signs of corrosion.
help... I don't want to throw a ~$150 LCD screen at it.
I popped of my tab's back cover to remove the battery so it will be calibrated, I did it before and it was succesful, I tried to do it again , then I noticed, a rainbow effect or whatever it is shows when I put pressure on the screen. I don't know what seems to be the problem, I didnt touch the lcd or other things but the battery and its connector/cable. Any help? I know it's not normal
So, my nexus is 2,5 years old. Since half a year ago it got wet in the rain (while in my pocket). When I got home and checked the phone, it had a vertical white line on its display. I also had charging issues, but that was solved rather quickly. without me doing anything. But the white line was still there. For about 2 or 3 months the white line was disappearing and coming back occasionally. But after a few months the line was there permanently. I think it's one defect LED of the display or something. But the particular white line is brighter than the highster screen brightness.
When my screen is on, the line is there, but when I shut off the display, it disappears.
Anyway. What is this and is there anything I can do to solve the problem WITHOUT letting the screen get repaired completely (as that would be a huge waste of money for a 2,5 y.o. phone)?
Here's a picture for clarification.

Doesn't look like a software problem.
so replacing the display is your only shot.
I got the Tab S4 a week ago and have been impressed with everything about it - screen, camera, excellent tablet.
Anyway - I am at work today and turned on the tablet only to find a Bright Green line exactly halfway down the screen (in portrait view) can't get rid of it -
I haven't dropped the tablet or treated it roughly or done anything could have caused this. I put on a glass screen protector yesterday - but didn't even have to push hard on the screen to get rid of bubbles or anything. It was an easy install - and the screen looked great. BUT this morning - with a bright green line thru the screen - well, it doesn't look so great any more.
Taking it back to Best buy today - just wondered if any one else had a similar problem?
EDIT -I was going to get a screen shot of the Green Line (if I could) and when I powered the tablet back on the Green light flickered and then went away. So now there is no green line there. = turned on again - and green line is back.
one other think I noticed - when the green line went a way, I noticed there was a SINGLE very small red pixel in the middle of the screen - when the green line went away, the red pixel was present - a tiny little dot of red - but when the green line came back - the red pixel went away. (by the way - the red pixel is in a different location of the screen than the green line.
This is a known problem with amoled screens. You've got a dud. Get a replacement. Even the iPhone X had some reports of it
Line on screen
I have the Galaxy tab S4 also and I have the line halfway down the screen too. I have to send it to Samsung to get fixed. I took such great care of it. I even put the rubber tpu case on with gloves to avoid leaving finger prints on the gorgeous glass back. This sucks. The LTE version is like 800 bux!
Yeah, sounds like you got a faulty unit. Just take it back to the retailer for a replacement or take it into the Samsung Service Center for repairs.
