Portion of my Screen turned yellow - HTC One X

A small portion of my screen turned yellow awhile ago for like 2 mins but is now gone, should i be worried about this ? Uppermost center and at first i thought it was just my eyes but i showed a few people and they noticed it too. Its probably the glue right ? Should i be concerned this will get worse ? My screen also has screen rippling on the sides btw

[Q] Bruise looking blotch on screen

About 3/4 of the way down the left side of the screen a brownish blotch started to form a couple of weeks ago. On lighter color screens it looks like a bruise. It started faint and is getting darker and larger, it is now the size of quarter (cut in half by the edge of the screen). It's quite organic looking with smooth edges.
I got the phone the first of Nov, 2011. Always been in a case, no cracks or chips in screen, never been wet.
Has anyone ever seen a screen defect like this?
Uh oh.
I've only had bad experiences with this. Its called a burn-in and it happens to screens as they die. I started to get it on Thursday of last week. I thought i could fix it with some apps on the market that reported to help some but it only sped up the process and after a day the whole screen was burnt-in and it was completely black.
if you bought your phone from Sprint, i would suggest taking it in to have them fix it because afaik, its a one-way street once this starts to happen.
if you didnt (like me - letstalk), i would look into buying a new screen/digitizer off ebay and replacing it yourself, but its a rather delicate process. i wouldnt do it unless its your last resort
as for causes, i only started to get it because i took my phone apart and got glass shards between the screen and the digitizer, when i put it back together it appeared in the bottom left corner and it slowly started to eat my screen away and it sped up when i applied pressure to the screen. this is when i bought a new screen and its good as new. but have you been rough with your screen? applying a lot of pressure constantly may have caused the screen to die faster
I got my phone from Let's Talk as well... Sprint store did the warranty work on it for $35.

Screen Issues - Blistering?

Hi all
I have had my Galaxy Nexus for near to 5 months now and it appears to have developed an unusual fault on the screen. I have been contemplating taking in in for repair/replacement for a while now after the screen has a single dead pixel, but a few days ago I noticed that I have what appears to be two blisters or bubbles in the screen just below the top surface. I don't have a screen protector so I'm not being dim.
I have cleaned the screen several times with the usual screen cleaning products as well as car polish and a tiny bit of T-Cut, all of which have made no difference at all. I am also certain that it is not a scratch or other mark as when the screen gets greasy you can clearly see the smudges across the mark which wouldn't happen if it was a scratch or the like.
I have attached a few photos of the mark, which I have circled to identify. Thanks for reading this I would like to know if anyone else has encountered this sort of issue before or whether this is a case of me being pedantic. My concern is that i don't want to send the phone in for repair/replacement for a few weeks to a month without me being certain that it will get fixed and the whole ordeal to be for nothing.
Again many thank in advance for your help and advice.
James

[Q] weird stripe by the edge of the screen - please help:)

Hi!
So I have quite new nexus 7 2013 (bought it 2 weeks ago) and yesterday I recognized that it has weird stripe by the edge of the screen, just left side, its not all the way also and its also visible when tablet is booting. Picture is attached
And its only visible when you look on it with an angle. Im 90% sure that it wasnt there before... ( its really visible on black background , in dark room, Im sure I could see it..) . But is it kind of light bleeding? Of course its not a big problem for me but just wondering if it wasnt there before and just happend can be connected to some heating problem or so and be worse in the future. And tablet wasnt dropped on the floor of course.
Anyone has the same?
With cheaper tablets - I dont care ..but its fresh and not so cheap (especially here in Norway) and when Im laying on bed during the night and have my head a bit on the side ..then its pretty annoying
And of course I have guaranty but.. there was small accident and top right corner was slided through the wall which is like sand paper..nothing big,few small scratches on the plastic cover and it wasnt like dropping on the floor ..but it can looks like a bit, its visible. And my question is if it can cause problems during eventual reclamation process. Thanx in advance for any help

I would RMA if possible. I don't forsee any issues with the return.

[Q] G3 virtually unharmed after dropping, but screen won't turn on

So while walking downstairs to my basement, I tried to put my phone back into my pocket and it slipped and dropped on the hard floor. It dropped about 4 ft and it had a hard plastic case around it (one of the Korean model cases with the small section exposed though). The glass screen protector I had on it cracked, but the actual screen is fine. I tried turning the phone back on, but only the notification light comes on and it keeps blinking green and blue.
EDIT: So I guess the LCD is broken cause the digitizer is completely intact and there's no indication that the phone was even dropped. Usually its the other way around.....

Exactly the same thing happened to me. No visible damage, but screen wont come on. LED is blinking blue and green.
Do you have any new updates regarding your phone problem?

The only new thing that I discovered was that the backlight is probably broken. I can see a very faint image of the LG boot logo and the carrier logo when the phone boots up, but it just hangs there and the LED keeps blinking till the battery runs out/is taken out so I don't know what else is up.

No cracks at all. The only crack I had was on my tempered glass screen protector. I thought it was the actual screen, but I took it off and the screen was unscathed.

Take it back to and tell them that the phone just stopped working. I'm sure they will fix it under warranty.

Ive just dropped mine from sitting on the loo, 2 foot drop if that and again, wont turn the screen on led flashed blue/green omg, not having a good day after being late for work cos the car ran out of petrol while I was scraping the windows, then broke the key off in the lock for the shed, had to break into my shed only to find the petrol can was empty, defrosted my wife's car and went n got some petrol in the can, fitted the filler pipe to the can, on putting the petrol in the car the pipe snapped off so had to go hunting for another, now I've just dropped my sodding phone gurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Ive just shined a light on it and it is on and working but screen is black without the torch, managed to turn brightness to full, no better.
Update, phone was deemed not repairable by my phone insurance through my bank so they sent me a brand new one yummy ?

Anyone have like a light red/pinkish hue tint along the bottom of the screen and edge

I dont know if my eyes are just completely bugging out or if what im seeing is true. I got my replacement note 7 yesterday and everything went well but then i saw a red/pink tint towards the bottom of the screen i started to freak out but decided that i would let it fly til Monday or so hoping that its just glue or something drying up. Its more noticeable when the screen is on a full white screen or if the bottom/edge part of the screen is white but other than that you can't see it at all.

Sounds like a display issue. My Note 4 had half the screen streaked/covered with a similar color. It was really similar to what the blue-light filter looks like when turned about half way up actually. But it was only on about half the display, and in streaks so was more of a bother because it wasn't the entire screen. I honestly only really noticed it when I was reading my kindle app on my phone with the lights turned off, otherwise it really wasn't very noticeable in normal lighting conditions. Upon reading about this on google this can happen to these kinds of displays that Samsung uses. Might be something to send the phone back for a replacement. I'd really have to see a pic to know enough to know for sure though.
Sounds like a defect. Bound to be a few. Try massaging that area of the screen fairly hard and see if there is any change.

I had that issue on my silver Note 7 and opt to exchange it (after many rounds of persuasion and complaints with at least 3 Samsung technicians). Some see it, some don't. This happened right before the recall.
Thought it was only a random unit of mine, but since you also raised this issue, could be more widespread. FYI, my unit was international version. Also same pinkish hue at the bottom. My replacement unit (before the recall) did not have this issue.
My note 7 recall replacement is not here yet (Samsung announced our replacement only available officially on 29 Sept in my country). I too hope my recalled-replacement will not have the pink hue at the bottom of the screen.
