I would also like to disable that feature. I have already disabled Google Assistant, but the corner gesture is still there.

same here
settings/Apps//default apps/digital assistant (select none)
Just disable the entire google search , is the app with a G in a mix of colors . It have 628 mb , you don't need that crap , so if you disable , the corner gesture will not disappear ,but if you trigger accidentally nothing will happen . If you just deactivate google assistant , anytime you trigger corner gesture it will annoying asking you if you want to enable assistant !

Can anyone confirm if the fingerprint gestures (tap for home, swipe left to go back, swipe right to enter multitasking view) work on Moto G5? Or is a feature exclusive to the Moto G5 Plus?
They work and work very nicely.
You need to activate this in Moto app.
Wasn't aware of this feature, enabled it now and enjoying the extra screen space!
yes just seen this video on researching moto g5 motion gestures is also available on the normal Lenovo Moto G5 too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbJoqHQ1WkI
Yes it works fine. I like the regular software buttons better though. But it's an option you can turn on or off.

I use the One button/fp nav - so the soft keys are hidden EXCEPT for the keyboard/gboard is openend ->> soft keys pop up!! Does anyone know how to prevent gboard from doing so??
No idea :/ Did not do this to me - but as I could not get rid of the extra row in gboard, I installed NextApp Keyboard and disabled gboard.

Related to gboard: in my phone the gboard app randomly flickers (very slightly - you do not always notice this) - i got rid of this by disabling hardware overlays in development options.

It does this when you have multiple keyboards/languages active, so it can show the keyboard icon that switches between them to the right of the recents button. To remove it, afaik you have to disable these extra input methods :/

No. Even with only one language navigation soft keys still pop up.

What about Google voice? Counts as another input method. I mean, just click that icon and see what options appear there. To remove the icon and the bar, have only one of those enabled. Unless there's no icon and it's just the soft keys, then idk...

I think I gotta try this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/guide-hide-navigation-bar-status-bar-app-t3509747 Update: this doesn't work to hide soft keys of gboard. And you were right it works with only one language enabled, but i can't live without 2 languages..
If I install a third party keyboard, can I disable every keyboard that's preinstalled, so the navbar won't pop up anymore?
yes. Settings -> Languages & Input ->Virtual Keyboard -> Manage Keyboards
After you have activated the 3rd party keyboard - you can disable the GBoard in Settings -> Apps -> GBoard -> Disable
This way it won't be updated (saving bandwith and small amount of battery each time new version comes out).
Anyone else wish you could swipe down on the fp reader to pull down the notification bar?
I wish you could customize all of them
Hey Guys.
Updated my Mimix 2 to MIUI 9.6.1.0 Global Stable
Everytime I swipe up on my homescreen, this ****ty Google App opens. It's annoying when using Fullscreen mode, which use gesture commands.
How can I disable Google from opening from swipe up Gesture on homescreen?
You can't disable it. This has been there for a year now, get over it if it annoys you.

Change your launcher. Simple. I use FastKey and it doesn't do that.
Hey guys, is there a way to disable swipe from corners to assistant gesture in android 10? I hate them, i always open assistant when i try to record a voice message on telegram / whatsapp. I don't want to disable google assistant as default assistant app because i still use squeeze.
I'm rooted, so maybe a magisk module? An app? Edit some files?
Heey guys, I've bought a redmi note 8 and i didnt like miui navigation gestures, is there a way to set gestures Just like Google? Swipe up to open multitask, set Just a button to return and longe press for assistant?
Don't think that it's possible on MIUI. You need to switch to a custom ROM or GSI.

I don't think you're understanding what he's saying.
Built-in OnePlus gestures are terrible. You can see some stupid animations that can't be removed when you swipe the edges or the bottom.
What he's saying is that you can hide the nav bar and completely use a third party gesture system (without invoking the native gesture system). This allows better speed and removal of animations.

Yeah....
With this app you can use Other apps for gestures, oneplus gestures are very simple for me... With edge gestures, you can open apps, lock screen with custom gestures
So, which gestures app is the best to use?
I kinda miss the bottom left/right swipe to go back...

Mmm, Edge Gestures doesn't seem to have split bottom actions. Or am I missing this?
Trying Fluid Gestures for the moment.
