Hello,
I've just updated my Mi a2 Lite with A10 Yesterday, and quick charge does not work anymore. It takes at least 2.5 hours to go from 10-12% to 50% battery, and another 3 hours to get fully charged.
Any ideas to solve this ?
Thanks,
Regards

I have the same problem, it heats a lot and I need to wait 4 - 5 hours to recharge 100%
No such problem
Same here, charging is very slow.
Me too
Same problem.
Same problem here
Same problem ?
This phone had never even had the "true" quick charge, but it usually charges 0-100% in 2h10m.
Nevertheless, 3 or more hours, let alone 5 or 10 sounds horrible wtf To be honest, a couple of those tiny Android 10 features are not worth ALL THE NUMEROUS BUGS.
Charging full in 10 hours

sir please help me i have charging issue after updating Android 10 in my Mi A2 Lite my phone chargers full within 10 hours before it was just 2 hour 20 mints . please Help me . send me special charging issue update to fix this erroe .
OCCASIONALLY this bug presents itself to me. It means that it does not happen 100% of times, but when it does I restart the phone and after quick charge works.
I must correct my previous statement, I am noticing now that charging takes 4+ hours!!! Right after the update, I think it charged like before, 2+ hours to full, but now, always 4 or 5 hours to full.. It is infuriating! The phone does not have QC, it is just 10W charging, but on Pie it charged quicker then now, so there is a f*ck up from xiaomi again.

Are you using Usb charger or Walloutlet ?
I bought my sweet XTZ recently, and for first time it ws charging like 7 hours. And battery was going down really fast. But after 2-3 days it started to charge in 2-3 hours(from 0% to 100%) and battery was going down 4-6 hours. So don't worry cause the first charging times are kinda long, and battery is draining really quick.

Guys, I just bought my LGOG Pro and I've noticed one strange thing. First two or three weeks the phone needed a little more than 2h (2:15, maximum) to fully charge battery (from 5% to 100% most of the times).
Now I'm having to charge it for 3h to fully charge it, in the same conditions. Is anyone having this issue??
How much time is necessary for your LGOG Pro to get fully charged??
Thanks a lot!
Anyone?
2 to 3 hours sounds about right
But why would it change from 2h-2:15 to 3h in these few weeks that I've been using it?

Use a higher capacity charger. I use an iPad 1st gen charger. It charges the phone in an hour.
As for the small time variation in your chage cycles, that happens with android batteries depending upon the state of discharge when charging began and other factors, nothing to worry about.
That's not bad.
I, like you, just got my G Pro and I love it. The first time I charge mine it was 2 1/2 hours to full, but now it is about 3 1/2. I work at a business that serveries Helicopters and I have to take a lot of pictures for projects so I can drain a battery fast, and this is the first phone that can last all day without a quick charge at break and lunch time.
Since I received the band, I can't get past 98% when charging. Tried charging from 30%, 60%, putting it on charger several times when at 98%, but I've never seen 100%. It doesn't have impact on battery life, just my slight OCD suffers I'm using 2A wall charger, so it should provide plenty of current. Any ideas except completely draining the band? I would like to avoid it as it damaged the steps counter when I completely drained the batter on Mi Band 2 (had to completely discharge it again to fix it).
Of no help whatsoever, but mine is also stuck at 98%. Fully discharging the battery does NOT cure the problem, so I have left feedback on the Mi FIT app. Everyone needs to do the same

Well, at least we know that trying the complete discharge doesn't help and that I'm not the only one with this problem. I sent the feedback, even though I doubt that it will be fixed. But maybe Xiaomi will surprise us..

No, if enough people have the same problem - and report it - something will be done. Most of the new features we have on the Mi Band 4, were added after they received feedback about the disastrous Mi Band 3
I just got one and have the same issue. Glad I'm not the only one! I'll submit a report to Xiaomi.
Funnily, I was able to charge to 100% two times recently. No idea what was different then, but my last charge was again only to 98%.. Go figure.
I have the same problem!!!
Hello friends!!! I'm from Brazil and recently my mi 4 band started giving the same problem. at first she only carried up to 99 and yesterday when I went to load noticed that she only went to 95 so this making me nervous, because it only makes 7 months I am using this smartband not want to believe that her life is already beginning to come to an end in less than one year. Today I sent a report on the issue by mi fit as you indicated. now only remains to know if the problem is software or hardware. the good thing is that even with this inconvenience, I can use it for 13 business days until the next charging. never let it discharge completely and always carry it when it arrives in their 13 battery.
Same problem but mine is stuck at 99%

Mine gets stuck at 99%
there was a firmware update in 22/2/2020 did it fix the problem for you ??
Mine is also stuck at 98%. I was able to charge it up the first time to 100% but then it started to go only to 98... Well I guess it's better than to charge only to 50% :silly:
I notice the same thing when I use my external charger. If I connect it to my laptop or directly via wall plug, it gets a full 100 charge. Might want to check that!

Good evening!!! I connected my Mi Band 4 to the USB 3.0 port on my PC. She had 12% battery power and I left it there charging for almost 3 hours and when I went to see it it had only charged up to 98%. Can you only charge it on USB 2.0 ports? How many hours do you leave your smartband charging on your notebook's USB port?

No difference in my case, I tried several chargers (500mA, 1A, 2A) or USB ports (v2, v3). It stayed stuck at 98%. Every now and then it charges to 100%, but it's totally random, most of the times I can't get past 98%.

Solved issue with 99% charge and drop to 84-5% after couple minutes with your guide. Thanks.
Formated Redmi Band 4, put for charging with original USB cable charger and original Xiaomi charger, 5V-2A, 10W for Redmi 4X mobil phone. Worked, charged to 100% and vibrated when reached 100%. I had this issue from 2020 and came with last update.
Hi guys,
I got my phone yesterday. But I've noticed my battery draining a bit. So far I got the following turned off: bt, wifi, data, location. Airplane mode is turned on. I disabled several apps and switched to dark mode. I got 86% batt. Last charge was 11 hours ago. I've played asphalt 9 for just 4 minutes, played yt for 10 minutes, browsed the net for 20 minutes and checked my email. Thats it!
On my samsung a70 I get 4 days without a charge. So why in gods name if I havent used the mate 20X intensely do I have 86% when I should have like 94% batt????
.

Appreciate the reply. The A chip has nothing to do with it. Considering the features I turned off from what I said in my last reply, the phone should be able to save batt. I'll give it a few days as a test to see.
BTW what's your batt profile and sot? How many days do you go without a charge? Are you a light or heavy user.?
I'm a light user. I last charged on Sunday night (5 days ago) and I currently have 30% battery left.

Hello from Ukraine guys!
Last times I have one problem with my phone.
When my phone completely discharged and power off after that I cann't charge it.
I tried different cables and power units without any success.
My phone doesn't charge after 5 or 10 or 30 minutes.
But when I go to recovery mode with battery icon on top right corner my phone charging well and I can see percentages of charge and after 5 minutes with 5% I can power on my phone without any issues. After that my phone charging very well, but if I will forget charge it before it completely discharged I have to go to recovery mode to charge it.
Anyone can help me with this strange problem?
I am using last global OxygenOS 12 C.48 with magisk (root).
Thanks.

If you already tried the MSM tool and clean flashed your device, and the issue is still happening, it seems like there is a weird "HW" issue. So, return the device if you still got a warranty on it.

Sadly i have the same issue. May i ask if you are rooted? Bootloader unlocked?
Since i am on c.48 my phone doesn't turn off when battery is too low (below 1%)
It can go at least 30 minutes in 1 % and this is not the intended functionality.
Battery needs to keep a reservoir to start charging. If it completely drains it damages itself quickly.
Another problem in my end is that c48 doesn't have offline charging (probably because of magisk).
Offline charging is a mode where the phone charges while is off and shows a battery icon.
So in my current state if my phone goes below 1% and i don't manually turn it off, it will forcefully shut down and after i plug it in it will try to turn on and shut down again unable to start the charge.
Only fix is boot fastboot mode (which uses really low power) and plug in for hours until the battery picks up some more voltage and then turn the phone on to charge normally.
Not hardware related. I have this for a while and i still get 4:30 to 5 hours SOT 100 to 1% and fast charge works ok.
Just don't let it go below 2% and shut it off until a fix comes up

Just fyi. This is a really bad practice to do regularly. Battery should not go below 15% often or it will ruin the battery life. See screeshot.
Since you have fast charge, it should be easy to charge it before going to sleep.

@Sergykm since there is no offline charging, try to never let it drain completely

Yes, mate I have unlocked bootloader and magisk and c48. My problem is absolutely the same.
It is not a big problem, but sometimes I forget to charge it before it goes offline.
I'm glad to know this is not only my problem. Hope the problem will be fix in future.
