Low Speaker Volume - Moto Z2 Force Questions & Answers

My Moto z2 Force speaker volume is too low that i can't hear sound from any video properly without earphones. What could be the issue. Is there any way to increase it by some hardware or software change. My phone is rooted and running on Lineage os 16 right now.

[Q] Low volume on earpiece speaker

I was running the latest nightly cyanogenmod rom and the earpiece speaker volume was loud and clear so that sometimes I even had to lower it by the side buttons during a phonecall.
Now I changed to Insertcoin stable but the volume is almost the half even at the maximum setting so that in a loud enviromnment I can barely hear the other person on the line. The same problem existed in every other sense rom that i tried.
Is there any mod or app that I could use to boost the volume of the earpiece speaker? Not the external speaker or the headphones but the earpiece one. Thanks in advance.
yeah i know what you mean same thing with my BT earpiece ...on AOSP roms loud and clear on Sense roms quiet (and fuzzy) ... as far as i know there's no solution for that

[BUG FIX] Sound Volume Low

Low Sound. Playing Music on Yureka loudspeaker will not appeal to many as the sound output is low. Sometimes sound plays muffled as well, depending upon the type of track you’re playing. If the sound output is distorting kinda, Go to audiofx app and disable it on speaker mode.
In-call sound is great but if you get low sound in earpiece, make sure in-call volume is at its peak. There is volume controls bug as well for in-call sound. During call, if the user tries to lower the volume, the volume slider moves but the volume level in reality is not lowered. I have also faced this bug. So, wait for software update, hopefully, these issues will be fixed.
Thank you. Unable to hear/attend callls without putting into speaker mode. After disabling audiofix option it solved the problem.

Lower headphone volume after updating to Nougat

Did anyone else notice that the headphone volume is lower in Nougat when listening to music? It seems like there's some volume limit active.

Android 10 lowers my microphone volume significantly

After I updated to Android 10, a few of my friends on Discord said that they can barely hear me. I made sure my mic was as sensitive as possible in Discord and I barely saw the audio meter go up. Used an app to record my voice and noticed how quiet it is. I've tested this on both PixelDust and stock, and the microphone problem was still there. I downgraded to Pie for a bit and noticed that my mic was normal again, but when I updated back to 10, my mic was insanely quiet again. Is there any way to change your microphone volume in Android?
I can't say about Discord but make sure you have not fallen victim to the infamous microphone issue which plagued the OG Pixels widely, myself included.
It seems that Android 10 is forcing my mic to use the earpiece mic instead of the speaker mic in every app by default now.
Edit: After further testing, plugging in any headset won't change the mic input either. It's stuck on the earpiece mic.

Decrease minimal volume during calls

I have the Redmi Note 8 (gingko), and when taking calls (eg WhatsApp) on earphones the volume is too loud, even when sliding the volume slider all the way down. This is not a problem specific to the earphones (connected via audio jack), I've tried several sets.
Since I currently runlineageOS 17.1, I tried adjusting the AudioFX equalizer to reduce volume, but it only works for playing music and not calls unfortunately.
With root I installed Viper4Android, which likewise is only effective for music but not calls.
Does anybody know of a solution with which I can reduce the in-call volume further beyond the minimum? Possibly there is a custom ROM, or a custom kernel I'm unaware of that resolves my issue.
Me (and my ears !) would gladly appreciate any help or pointers
