Unable to check for updates (Verizon) - Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Questions & Answers

I am unable manually install (or probably even automatically) install OTA updates on my Verizon Note10+5G.
I get the below error:

[Q] How to flash stock firmware?

Haven't played with an android for a while now (since the release of the GS2 Skyrocket).
I Just downloaded the stock Bell firmware from sammobile.com
Do I just put the phone into download mode and use odin to flash it?
Can some one please refresh my memory....!!!
Thanks!
Extract the tar from the zip you downloaded. Place it in the PDA slot. Make sure repartition is NOT checked. Flash

Hello all,
I am experiencing the same problem, the only difference it that I was in a Stock room and suddenly cant receive/make calls or sms or connect trough 3G. Tried a quickly jump to cyanogenmod but it didn't fixed. Came back to stock and still without connecting to the network (strength signal ok). Already tried another sim.
Any thoughts?

Root for Build number M919UVUEMK2?

Buddy of mine wants me to root his device if possible.
New to rooting the Samsung devices (HTC guy here). I've rooted the OG Evo, 3vo, Evo 4G LTE, and the One. So I know what I'm doing from that stand point.
My question is, will root for any M919 work for this device or is there a specific root method to use?
Sorry, if this has been answered before - trying to figure out where to head from here.
Thanks guys.

But, my buddy is being a little puss and wants to know how certain you are this won't brick his device.

Running into a problem. Flashed a Google edition rom, mistakenly on the Stock rom Partition of the device. Phone didn't boot, stupidly forgot to make a nandroid.
Computer can't find the device in ADB and Mount USB storage isn't working in recovery. I can get to stock recovery and push the ROM but it's not accepting the update file.
Any ideas?

Have you tried just doing a factory reset and rebooting it?

I'll have to upload the files and share, I gathered an updated TWRP from the note 5 section and used the CF Auto root.
If you want to locate them since I can't get to them till later do a search for
TWRP-3.0.0.1-M-TEST4
Download cf auto root for sm-g928p link here
https://download.chainfire.eu/807/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-zenltespr-zenltespr-smg928p.zip
Flash cf auto root first in Odin, let it do its thing and followed by the updated test TWRP.
This worked for me, keep in mind your doing this at your own risk.
I did have to flash TWRP more then once with this method to stick.
