[q] lg optimus g f180s stuck in starting logo: Please help me

HELLO BROTHERS AND FRIEND,
I AM USING LG OPTIMUS G F180S. AFTER UPDATING THE KITKAT VERSION, I WAS TRYING TO DEGRADE IT TO JELLYBEAM FOR ROOTING. AFTER COMPLETION UPGRATION, THE PHONE WAS STUCK IN LOGO MOOD. PLEASE HELP ME TO SOLVE THIS. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.

while try to upgrading kitkat, it shows "extract file error" and after restart "the logo appears only"...see the video.

Ok relax if you can connect in download mode 90% chances are your phone will be recovered.

What kdz are you trying to flash? Broken kdz file also results in extract error, try downloading some other kdz specific to your phone model.

what i understand is you successfully flashed jelly bean kdz but after that you are stuck in bootloop? If that is the case all you need is to wipe your phone and itll boot

how do i wipe the phone, cause there is no recovery mode found in my phone

I dont find any recovery mode in my phone to wipe and reboot...
and why it is not updated to kitkat through kdz, it is shown file extract error....Please help.

Pleas switch off your phone. Press volume -- volume down key and press power button together. On screen display you will get option for hard reset your phone, click power button twice, then your phone will boot after 5 to 10 seconds after a hard reset..

8) If the phone is stuck at the booting up LG/Telco logo, you will need to manually wipe the data partition.
9) Force the phone off by holding the power button for appx 15secs.
10) Put the phone into recovery mode by holding the volume up and home button concurrently, then press the power button. Let go of all the buttons after you see the LG logo on screen for the 2nd time and the screen goes blank thereafter (backlight may still be on). The phone will kind of reboot and then enters recovery mode. Repeat the process if you did not get it the first time.
11) With the phone in Recovery Mode, connect it to the computer, wait for the drivers to load (if doing it for the first time), unzip the wipe batch file downloaded earlier from step (4), double click on wipe.bat to execute the wipe command.
12) Your phone will auto reboot when wiped and (hopefully) boot as per normal.
Follow this procedure and download wipe batch file from here http://www.mediafire.com/?ru7erfxsz7p7s3p

Extract file error could be because of a broken kdz or once a kdz larger than 1 gb is flashed using kdz updater it also gives this error

Another thing, now my phone doesnt show any IMEI no, and please suggest me how do i get it and how do i update the kitkat version now...can i root the phone after updating the kitkat or now?

No IMEI means you need to restore EFS backup ,which i doubt you did not make

I didnt know anything about EFS backup....!!! Is there anything wrong with my phone.!

signal working fine and phone recognizes sim card ? Check if imei is shown without sim ? Currently you're on which firmware and what firmware you flashed earlir?

Yees, Signal working fine and phone recognizes the sim card.
IMEI not shown without sim Dear Brother. Currently I am on version 4.1.2, jellybean,
I flashed with jellybeam F180S20d_00.kdz.
Please suggest me and help me out

Another interesting thing is that, in my phone it is shown F180S but when i connect it to computer via usb, the LG support tool software shows it LGV500.
What about the matter Brother???

If you've lost your imei without making EFS backup , you've lost it forever. There's no fix for this i guess. Best bet for you is use your phone as it is.

You can try flashing stock kdz for your modle, it may help you but nit guaranteed.

Power and volume up, once vibrates and looks like it going into a boot sequence, keep holding volume up but let go of the power button

You can`t enter bootloader , then you are bricked .

how ?? , yes in xda much method to unbrick but they can turn on or can going to bootloader i cant do both

By reading the unbrick threads.
If you get vibes when long pressing power button , blank screen etc , your phone can be revived.

i know how to solve this ... i faced the same problem .. i tried to flash TWRP M ..to install naugot ... but thn i damaged the recovery and i couldnt boot to bootloader .. i can help anyone who needs it ! contact me on whatsapp +918050234291

i cant whatsapp u no phone can u just explain here? pls

I originally flashed TWRP with bootloader locked and I was still able to get back into bootloader and initiate fastboot cmds. This was on a ZE500CL Z00D.
I think i just power cycled the phone a few times. I did some combos that brought up the intel inside then after that it brought fastboot up.

3 files stock rom successfully downloaded via qfil but still the same
I continue to install twrp via fastboot also successfully but still not enter recovery mode
What method should I do to get my device back to normal

I think you should go to lenovo care. In past I also faced this issue. And they solved my problem.

Bootloop on download mode.

Hello everyone,
I've tried to flash a rom using odin on my J610G and it failed. Now while trying to get into download mode the device restarts automatically. It's recognized by the computer but it won't stay on download mode. It won't boot into the OS since it prompts "An error has ocurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software."
I tried the smart switch but it won't stay on it, It keeps restarting. Any suggestion ?

I have the exact same problem too! It's so frustrating coz I just can't get my phone to stay on Odin mode without it restarting to that stupid error screen:crying:

Simple. Charge your battery with the mains charger, its flat.

I got the same problem. I had to extract the battery and charged it with a external battery charger, because if I tried to connect the phone with the normal usbC cable, the continued with the boot loop y download mode.

I recently tried to install a custom ROM in my samsung j6+ but halfway through it my PC turned off.
Then the problem starts i decided to reboot my phone but it shows this error "No command" " #Reboot recovery cause is [[check_bootmode]RebootRecoveryWithKey]#

I have used MSM tool and it ended successfully. Now, I can boot to fastboot and recovery, but stuck in oneplus logo when I try to boot into system.. Several trials but same result.

are you the original owner or not because if you are the original owner and have all the information about the phone contact oneplus and they will help you better because on here if it is hardware there is not a lot we can do

Also try and get into fastboot mode and try and flash the boot.img and system.img and user data.img and cache.img manually

Take the two screws out near the charging port and take the back cover off then disconnect the battery and reconnect it it sometimes help

Like a miracle, my oneplus 3 is alive again. I used from https://forum.xda-developers.com/one...tools-t3896722 the repacked OOS905.
I got boot into system but the screen wasn't responssive.
I removed the back cover and reconnected all the conectors.
Then, turned on the device and the screen was responssive and I was able to turn on the OEM unlock and USB debugging.
Unlocked the bootloader and flashed Evolution X latest Q build.
All is working now.
